I asked Harold's personal knight, Jas, to co over. I slightly bent towards his ears and asked in a whisper.
"What is wrong with that guy? Why is he staring at so blatantly? Not to ntion it doesn't seem very friendly."
When Jas looked at 'that guy', he couldn't help but get agitated as he imdiately responded.
"My lord, that's the royal prince Lorcan. He's the eldest son of his majesty, the emperor's second wife. Please refrain from talking to him. His hate for all kinds of demons is well known in the empire. The root of his hatred has been said to be the assassination of his mother, the emperor's second wife, in the hands of demons."
Jas told about the situation with that crackhead, making go 'Oh?' from enlightennt.
'So that was the case!'
"Jas….was it? Do you know that I am not a demon?"

Jas, who was continuously nodding his head, suddenly stopped in between as he looked at , confused.

Francis smiled beautifully and held his hands out for a handshake. I shook hands with him.

The princess, Jane, remarked sharply at Francis's aloof words, making him chuckle. They both looked to be the sa age as , while Lorcan looked significantly older, around 30 years old.

Jane said right after reprimanding her brother. Her face also had the sa smile, but it didn't carry the honesty that Francis's smile did. Her smile was more of a business smile that you'd see on the faces of many big shots.
She held her hand out too, but differently from Francis. It was held out horizontally.
`What are you waiting for, you hobo? Kiss her hand.`
Prolus said, and I took her hand and kissed it lightly.
'Although she seems to be apprehensive, she at least doesn't have the sa disgust that their fellow brother over there has.'
Not to ntion she knew where to keep her boundaries. She said that they were just 'acquaintances', which can also be interpreted as her currently have no interest in forming any kind of friendship with .

I didn't reply to Jane because I had already talked to Francis and had responded in a way where it can be taken with greeting the both of them.
"Princess Ena is entering!"
A guard announced, and Ena, alongside her mother, entered the hall.

I could hear clear gasps of envy and admiration from the crowd. Even Jane couldn't help but stare at Ena in admiration.
Ena looked breathtakingly beautiful in the long white gown, with a piece of white cloth tied around her neck. Her mother held her hand, and the beautiful mother and daughter duo walked in together.

"First of all, I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for coming to share my happiness."
Harold said as he looked at us with loving eyes, making everyone present cheer and hold out their wine glass to show appreciation for his words.
"Secondly, I would like to thank the royal highnesses for coming and gracing us with their presence. My daughter and son-in-law have really been blessed to have you co over."
And so, Harold's speech proceeded as he talked about how Ena was born after so many prayers and how after losing Ena's mother, his first wife had given Ena the sa amount of love that any blood-related mother would give. How he felt like his life was going to end when Ena's health suddenly deteriorated for the worse.
Until one fateful day, his future son-in-law, aka , arrived in their lives.
"Ah! Sorry, I kind of got lost in emotions there. Let's not waste any more ti on this old man's blabbering and proceed with the main event!"
Harold said, and everyone laughed. Soon after, Harold called for a few maids to bring in the rings for the engagent.
"Ah, that. I have actually prepared a ring of my own as a gift for my future wife."
I said as I took out the Ring that I had made with heartfelt emotions for the person who was willing to spend her life with .
"Oh my god! Is that a Legendary halo?"
