There were many hidden items in the guilds inventory simply because the mbers who had stored them had set the visibility to private. On the other hand, there were a few items that weren't that rare so they were displayed without any restriction.
In a guild inventory, only a mber who was given permission from the mber that had stored the item can retrieve the item, the rule even applied to the guild's owner.
