After three days of rest and recuperation, Lu Hong had gradually recovered most of his magic power, and the two continued on their journey of exploration.

The Red Marsh Sea Area wasn’t actually vast in later tis, as the size was limited by projections.

But in the Era of the Gods, it seed much broader by comparison, and after three days of arduous travel, the two finally reached the center of the Red Marsh Sea Area.

No sooner had they stepped into this central region than the chaos of divine power pressed down so heavily that they couldn’t stand up straight.

"How many Heavenly Gods actually live here?!" Natidak felt the presence of forty or fifty different styles of divine might, each with an overpowering force. He had only ever felt such pressure from his own master, the War God, in his fury.

"How would I know?" Lu Hong truly had no idea what lay in the center of the Red Marsh Sea Area and had not expected it to be inhabited by so many Heavenly Gods.

But were these Heavenly Gods from the sea tribes or demon beasts?

In fact, there were both, and fierce battles often broke out among them.

As they were talking, the rumble of a fight approached from afar.

The re shockwaves severely injured them both and flung them into the muddy seabed.

"No wonder there are no demon beasts in this area. Damn it, they just couldn’t survive here!" Natidak clutched his aching chest, where at least four types of divine aftereffects were rampaging within, destroying his bodily functions.

Lu Hong also hurriedly mobilized his blood and breath to suppress the unruly divine might and then said, "Don’t you think this is our opportunity?"

"What do you an?"

"By using the pressure from these Heavenly Gods, we can glimpse the mysteries of the God Realm!"

"Have you gone mad?" Natidak hastily objected, "These Heavenly Gods fighting won’t care about the collateral damage of the battle. One misstep and we could die under these shockwaves."

"That’s exactly why it’s most likely to help break through to the Heavenly God Realm!"

"No, I can’t watch you go to your death. There are many ways to break through to the Heavenly God Realm. You’re still young, you’ll break through to the Heavenly God Realm sooner or later. If it’s for the safety of the Human Race on this continent, you can ask the Naga Queen to allocate a region within the sea for your people to live. There’s no need to be so desperate!"

"No, I must be desperate!" Lu Hong said gravely, "Not just for the people here, but for my hotown too. You don’t understand, my hotown is currently being trampled by the beast horde and could be destroyed at any mont! I also have a wife waiting for to return. I must reach the God Realm. At the fastest speed possible!"

Seeing Lu Hong so agitated, Natidak knew his words were sincere and reluctantly stepped aside, watching as Lu Hong once again stepped into the central area.

And the next second, the aftermath of divine power rushed over again, sending Lu Hong flying. This ti, the force was even greater. The divine power of the Fire Elent scorched his heart and lungs, and Lu Hong spat out blood violently, along with billowing hot flas, as his skin beca charred black from the burning.

"Are you alright?" Natidak rushed over to help him, but as soon as he touched Lu Hong, he was numbed by lightning divine power and instinctively let go of his hands.

"This... this..." Natidak struggled to speak and watched as Lu Hong persisted step by step, entering that deadly zone once again.

Just like that, Lu Hong was repeatedly flung away, crashing into the mud.

But he never gave up because, aside from his decisive battle with Natidak before, this was the closest he had co to a breakthrough.

By the ti Lu Hong couldn’t endure any longer and passed out, Natidak dragged him to safety and treated his injuries. As soon he regained consciousness and had recovered slightly, Lu Hong plunged back into the central area to endure the baptism of powerful divine might.

Half a year’s ti flew by, and Natidak, moved by Lu Hong’s spirit and coming to a realization, joined in the trial by fire.

As torturous as it was to be ravaged by the divine might, it continuously tempered their bodies.

Actually, there were many ways to beco a deity. The most common was the breakthrough of enlightennt, grasping the rules of the cosmos, receiving the blessings of the plane, and thus stepping into the Heavenly God Realm.

Such gods usually possessed a very strong singularity, completely mastering an elental series. However, they suffered greatly in a battle against a conflicting elental Heavenly God, completely outmatched.

The Thunder God, the God of Light, and other newly ascended deities of the Human Race were of this type.

Truly inferior.

This included the sea tribe gods as well. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be so completely overwheld and suppressed by the chaotic gods, creatures of the dark.

The second type of Heavenly God, like the beasts, centers on sensing through lineage, excavating one’s own potential, surpassing one’s own limits, and achieving a position as a Heavenly God. These Heavenly Gods actually possess few skills and thods. They need to conduct their own research after becoming gods in order to master so powerful attack thods.

And most beastly Heavenly Gods, because they have simple minds, still mainly use weapons and fists for combat, unlike Elental Sensing gods who can readily manifest powerful Divine Arts.

Both have their own rits. The majority of the Heavenly Gods from the various races are similar to the beastly Heavenly Gods, one could say they are gods made flesh, but they are not impervious to all Ten Thousand Laws.

What Lu Hong is doing now is actually the third type, the most special category, refining his body while not lacking in skill and understanding. Once he becos a Heavenly God, he will have practically no weaknesses, which is probably an important reason why the War God was able to dominate the Era of the Gods.

Another half year passed, and as Lu Hong gradually adapted to the washing of divine might, his body no longer appeared awkward from the spillover effects. On the contrary, with every gesture he made, there was a faint divine light flowing, like a piece of jade being polished, exuding a dazzling luster.

Natidak was quite a bit behind Lu Hong, but he too had made enormous progress. The strength of his body had undergone a drastic change compared to before. Now, he would dare to challenge the Tyson Serpent head-on, without the slightest fear.

By this ti, the spillover from the periphery of the central region no longer had the effect of refining Lu Hong. After a series of spillover washes, there was not the slightest damage to his body.

"I should go deeper now. Natidak, I’ll wait for you inside!" Saying this, Lu Hong turned and stepped into a deeper area.

Natidak clenched his fist tightly and shouted towards the disappearing back of Lu Hong: "I’ll catch up with you! Very soon!"

"I know! I’ll wait for you!"

A thousand miles deeper, the spillover was much more powerful, but for Lu Hong, who had made so progress in Divine Power Body Refining, the damage it could cause was no longer fatal.

And finally, Lu Hong saw those battling figures.

In the distant sky, four massive divine beasts collided fiercely, each clash setting off a surge of Divine Power that spread outwards, washing over everything in the central area.

At the sa ti, other divine beasts affected by the battle also beca enraged and joined the fray.

The battle between the four beasts quickly evolved into a chaotic fight among a group of gods.

However, the spillover of Divine Power from the chaotic battle was much reduced, with most spillovers canceling each other out in the washing. Only a few of the strongest impacts could sweep far and wide.

Lu Hong carefully observed the clashes of these divine beasts, his body continuously refined by the impacts.

Among these demon beasts, he found the strongest one, which was almost like one chasing a group to fight.

And this demon beast, he was very familiar with, it looked very much like the puppies of later generations, only magnified millions of tis.

Was this demon beast the ancestor of the puppies or was it the puppies themselves?

The battle among the divine beasts lasted for three days and nights, and finally, all thirty-eight divine beasts were beaten into submission by the Canine God and retreated to their own resting caves.

And the Canine God, with a triumphant howl to the sky, showcased his might.

As the Divine Power dissipated, the Canine God suddenly caught a familiar scent — it was the scent from its own body.

Strange? Did it have a son?

Following the scent, the Canine God saw Lu Hong who was thousands of miles away.

"What creature is this? It’s not my son!" The Canine God questioned, before striding through the sky towards Lu Hong.

Seeing the divine beast rushing towards him, Lu Hong was startled and imdiately turned to flee. Divine beasts no longer need to feed and wouldn’t just eat any creature they see, so why was it chasing after him?

As Lu Hong fled, the Canine God quickened its pace. Unable to match the speed of a divine beast, Lu Hong was quickly cut off by the Canine God.

"Kid, what exactly are you? Were you my son before reincarnation?"

Lu Hong: ,,,,,

Your son? Are you joking?

"I’m called Lu Hong, a mber of the human race." In front of the Canine God, Lu Hong didn’t dare to act rashly and quickly bowed in greeting.

"Human? What’s that?" The Canine God shrank in size, ca up to Lu Hong, and sniffed him all over with great curiosity.
