“The Unnaable Sli and the Geomantic Giant Scorpion Peseth,” the City Lord of Lishan Fortress replied, “These two are even more terrifying than Gogly and the Aurora Eye. When soft, it is almost immune to all attack thods, capable of transforming into any shape, hence the na Unnaable. As for the Geomantic Giant Scorpion Peseth, it has a formidable poisonous tail. A touch of the poison ans near-certain death, as it acts fast and can dissolve our bodies.”
Listening to the City Lord’s explanation, Lu Hong gained an initial understanding of the four top Fierce Beasts within the City of Mourning the Dead. Lu Hong thought that this level of understanding was sufficient; he did not want to know more deeply as that would an encountering them, and encountering them ant doom.
Just as they were talking, the City Lord of Lishan Fortress suddenly extended his palm to the side in a grappling gesture.
The next mont, a large skeletal serpent leaped from the mist, opening its gaping maw to bite the City Lord.
That outstretched hand played a critical role, grasping the serpent at its vulnerable spot.
Taking advantage of the serpent’s montum, the City Lord swung it around, slamming it heavily onto the ground.
Before the serpent could react, the City Lord placed his other hand on the serpent, gripping it firmly at the vulnerable spot.
With a continuous crackling sound, the bones of the skeletal serpent were visibly breaking.
With a low growl from the City Lord, the skeletal serpent was forcibly torn apart at its vulnerable spot, breaking into two sections.

Lu Hong watched in astonishnt. This ripping apart intact bones required exertion several tis greater than smashing them from a single point.
The City Lord of Lishan Fortress, with one arm alone, could probably lift a dozen Titans like Zuo Shahe, such was his unbelievable strength!

Saying this, the City Lord started to run. Under the massive body collision, the attacking dinosaurs were entirely unable to stop him and were knocked away.
Breaking through the encirclent, the City Lord of Lishan Fortress fled rapidly on the ground of the death realm, with Lu Hong in tow. Dozens of dinosaurs roared behind them, intent on pursuing without giving up.

“Dragon Hunters, a kind of pack animal. Generally, a pack consists of at least two thousand of them. They are predatory beasts from the living realm and should not be appearing in the death realm. Once they lock onto a target, they will not stop until they kill it.”
Listening to the City Lord’s briefing, Lu Hong felt a knot tighten in his heart, “Does that an if we can’t shake off the Dragon Hunters, they will keep hounding us to death?”
Hearing Lu Hong’s concern, the City Lord laughed, “Don’t worry, my escape skills aren’t bad. Titans that survive in the City of Mourning the Dead have better escape skills than combat skills.”
Although the City Lord’s running speed was not superior to the Dragon Hunters, they had almost the sa speed, but in terms of endurance, the City Lord could outrun them by a mile.
Thus, after three days of running, the Dragon Hunters gradually beca exhausted and reluctantly abandoned the hunt, whereas the City Lord, still full of energy after the three-day non-stop run, even felt like running another three days.
Though they had escaped the pack of Dragon Hunters, a new problem erged—they were now lost in the mist, completely disoriented.
They had likely run a great distance away from where the Zuo Sha Clan Titans had dispersed. Considering the current situation, searching for the Zuo Sha Clan Titans was now beyond hope for the two of them; finding a way back would be a sheer blessing.
“Well, getting lost in the mist isn’t really a big deal,” the City Lord of Lishan Fortress explained to Lu Hong. “As long as we find a water source, we can enter the living realm. In the living realm, one won’t get lost, and we’ll be able to return to Lishan Fortress.”
