The wolf stood up and instead of attacking the wolf stood still and howl loudly, enough for all the forest to hear.
"What is it doing, attack him" Beast shouted.
Alex knew what it was doing, it was calling for help, this is very bad, Alex quickly slip away and ran far from the wolf, the other players kept attacking the wolf till they killed the wolf, little did they know that the forest had been surrounded by wolves.
Howling was heard from all directions of the forest, everyone in the forest could hear the howl of the wolves.
Alex didn't want this to be his end so he found a tree and quickly climb on, after a little while he saw two wolves running in the direction of the first wolf, Alex knew that all the players he ca with would already be dead.
"I think I would wait this out, if I died here I have to buy a new VR helt" Alex mumbled and sat comfortably on the tree.
When a player is killed, the player level is reduced by 5, but if the player level isn't up to 5 the player's account is automatically terminated.
Only one account can be created with the VR helt, which was why it was different from other Virtual reality gas.
That was cruel, so Alex didn't want to die because he didn't have a di to buy another VR helt.
Alex stayed on the tree for at least 30 minutes before deciding to go down, as he jumped down he quickly ran towards the newbie village for safety.
"Phew" Alex sighed as he arrived successfully.
He didn't bother to go back to the forest to check on the players he ca with, the wolves would have killed them, and even though he could collect their items and sell them, he didn't want to be killed.
"I can still level up here instead of going to the forest, I just have to find a nice NPC and eliminate him" Alex smiled and walked into the village.
Alex entered this ga with high hope, he wanted to be a professional player in the ga, the ga was launched last four months and currently, the top three players are being paid.
If a player is among the top three, he doesn't need a job anymore, just play the ga and earn money decently. That was what Alex was aiming for and to do that he had to pass the Big three.
They were the top three players and everyone was calling them the Big three, the first one was nad Wraith then bloodmoon, and Death.
They were the big three, they beca the top three players two months after the launch and since then no one could surpass them.
Wraith who was the top 1 was currently at level 45, which was a long way from where Alex was, but he had planned to use all his break from school to focus on Nova Online.
Alex looked as new players entered the ga every second, the ga was bustling with newbies who are also trying to reach the top three and gain fa and recognition.
Alex was walking through the street hoping to receive a task from an NPC or kill an NPC without being wanted.
He ca across a group of NPCs that were acting strange, well he didn't know if it was strange but they were five in number gathered in front of an old building close to the forest.
It was the only old building in the whole of Elyria village and Alex wondered what they were doing, he stood far from them watching what they were up to.
The door of the building opened and the NPCs went inside and closed the door, Alex looked around before approaching the door.
Alex touched the door slightly to check if it was opened and to his surprise the door moved slightly, he looked around again before opening the door slowly.
Luckily the NPCs were not there so he quickly slipped inside, the room was barely lit by a lamp that stood on the wall, but it was enough for Alex to find his way.
He was going to see what the NPCs were up to, and luckily kill them and level up again.
Alex walked straight till he arrived at a dead end, he looked around and discovered an opening on the ground, there was a wooden door placed on the floor.
Alex lifted the wood and saw a passage to an underground room, and the room was well lit.
'Those NPCs must be down there, I wonder what they are doing, I should take a small peek'
Alex walked down the stairs in the passage, as soon as he could get a clear view of the place he looked around but didn't find the NPCs.
Alex entered the room and kept looking around, the room was large, it had four large pillars that stood near each end of the room, the wall had strange patterns and designs on them.
'No one had ever ntioned anything like this since the start of the ga, maybe no one had found it yet' Alex concluded in his thought.
Alex heard footsteps approaching and he quickly ran towards the nearest pillar and hid behind it, four NPCs walked into the room.
This ti there were female NPCs and they went straight to the other end of the room and pushed a small stone.
With a creaking sound, a small part of the wall shifted and opened leading to another room, Alex peeked into the other room, the room was filled with red smoke making it almost impossible to see through.
The female NPCs entered the other room and the wall closed back.
"Woah, what was that" Alex mumbled.
He needed to go there and see what the NPCs were up to but he can't just barge in, he needs a plan.
