'I have a mark there before or is that the ga doing, anyways I'll check as soon as I log out' Alex mumbled and took another turn.
After walking for a while Alex smiled and muttered, "I'm being followed"
Alex noticed a player nad Talen had been following him since he got into the city, so Alex made this last turn to check if he was correct and after a while, the player took the sa turn and Alex was sure.
Alex didn't act suspicious in any way Instead he kept walking forward, Alex took another turn into an alley and quickly stopped, both of his daggers were already in his hands and he stood close to the wall waiting.
Alex took a peek to check if the player was still after him but no one was there.
"Why are you hiding" a voice spoke close to Alex.
As soon as he heard the voice, Alex didn't look to see who it was he quickly turned around and swung his dagger.
To his surprise, no one was there, Alex stepped away from the wall and looked around, but he still couldn't see anyone.
"I didn't imagine that right? I clearly heard a voice" Alex mumbled.
"Yes, you did" the voice spoke again but before Alex could turn around both of his daggers were taken from his hands and he was pushed forward causing him to fall to the ground.

Alex stood up and faced back, once again the alley was empty and Alex was surprised again.
"What is happening...an assassin" Alex mumbled and quickly stood up.
He was being attacked by an assassin, that was the only thing Alex could think of, a high-level assassin would be able to pull this off.
pαпdα`noνɐ1`сoМ Alex looked around and after confirming no one was there he dashed forward attempting to run out of the alley.
*Thud*
A hand hit Alex's neck causing him to fall to the ground, Alex held his neck and imdiately look up. Now he could see his enemy completely.
The player was dressed exactly like him, wearing a black cloak and a black mask that completely cover his/her face, Alex didn't know if it was a male or female even though he had heard the player's voice.
"What do you want with , I don't have anything that might interest you" Alex spoke still on the ground.
The player was with his weapons so he had no way of attacking, and the player made it clear to Alex that he couldn't run away.
"I don't need anything from you" the player spoke.
"Then why are you attacking , I'm still a low-level player with nothing to offer, you can't gain anything from killing ," Alex said trying to talk his way out of dying.
*Cough*
"You got it all wrong, I'm not here to kill you" the player spoke after clearing her throat, the player was clearly a female from the way she spoke.
"Then why are you attacking ," Alex said and moved back a little so he could stand up.
"I want to check sothing then I'll be on my way, and you can have your weapon back" the girl threw Alex's blades toward him.
"What do you want to check?" Alex asked.
"Take off your clothes, just your top don't worry about the rest," the girl said.
Alex rembered the other lady from the dungeon, she told him to take off his clothes then she left him alone, and she wasn't part of the ga, if this girl in front of him was asking the sa thing, that ans she was also not part of the ga.
"Why?" Alex simply asked.
"Do you want to take it off, I'm not too gentle when doing sothing like that" the girl spoke.
Alex knew she wasn't joking around, he had no choice but to remove his clothes.
After removing his clothes Alex looked at the girl and she was staring at his chest, she hissed angrily and stood up making Alex look at his chest.
"Huh! where did the mark go" Alex mumbled.
"What did you say?" the girl asked.
"There was a mark on my chest, it's gone now, I wonder what that is," Alex said as he looked at his chest again to confirm.
"What did the mark look like?"
"Like an x, it looked like an x," Alex said.
Alex couldn't see the look on the girl's face because of the mask but he heard her mumbling to herself.
"So it's true" the girl mumbled unconsciously.
"What is true, do you know what the mark is, you are not a player right?" Alex asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"That mark, another lady saw the mark and was surprised, your reactions and questions ans you know about the mark, what does it an?" Alex asked again.
"Maybe I should take your life now that it doesn't matter," the girl said and took a step forward.
Alex moved backward and raised both of his daggers upward, he knew he couldn't win against her but it would be foolish to stand still when you are in danger.
The girl wanted to take another step before she stopped as she saw sothing, Alex imdiately turned around thinking another player was behind him but no one was there.
"What is this" the girl mumbled staring at Alex's chest.
Alex looked at his chest again and to his surprise, the x mark was there, like a battle scar engraved in his chest.
Alex's eyes widen as he saw the mark, it wasn't there before and he was sure of it, even the girl knew it wasn't there and now magically it appeared on his chest again.
"This is strange, I have to speak to my brother," the girl said and turned around and began to walk away.
"Where are you going, do you know anything about this mark" Alex shouted making the girl turn.
"Look over there" the girl pointed behind Alex and he turned around but nothing was there, he faced the girl and sighed weakly, the girl had already disappeared from the alley.
