"This seems too much, maybe we should just forget about it," Huntress said and turned around to leave.
"Wait... I'm going to do it" Alex quickly shouted.
"Okay, but you're not choosing anything from my inventory, there are too much valuable stuff there, follow we're leaving now"
"Where are we going?"
"To the snowy mountains, that's where the cave is located"
"Okay, wait...you said you had masks right, can I get one"
"No...they are mine, buy yours after the mission is over"
Alex opened the interface and checked the map, they were currently in the forest known as the great forest because of the large amount of space the forest covers.
Alex also saw the snowy mountains Huntress was talking about, it was close to the village there were going to, but the mountains are a lot closer to them than the village.
"Are you checking the map?"
"Huh! how do you know, can you see my interface?" Alex asked.
"No, but you were scrolling and swiping so I figured you were looking at the map, I guess I'm right...we should keep moving before night cos, we have to complete it today, and don't even think of logging out"
"Why, what if I'm hungry?
"...You wouldn't feel it till you are actually out of the ga, so we can play till midnight, by then we should have completed the mission," Huntress said.
"Speaking of missions, I thought the system is supposed to give a mission after my newbie protection expired"
"Don't be in a rush,"
'I wonder where Max and Gabriel are, but at least I got the deer skin so it all worked out, after this silly mission that I'm not sure I'm going to complete, I'm going to sell the skin' Alex smiled.
Alex and the girl began to walk towards the mountains, none of them talked to each other as they walked, Alex didn't mind as he was busy checking the map.
The air was slowly getting cold as they made their way to the mountains. Finally they arrived at the mountains, the serrated mountains lood in the distance.
They made their way towards them with Huntress in front and Alex in back. The mountains were flour-white and brooded over the land.
Just as they approached, a chute of snow detached itself and went trundling down one of the mountains. It slid over the knotted edge and then went crashing into the chasm below.
The silence that followed was spine-chilling. It froze Alex's marrow to think that he would be climbing in those conditions tomorrow, now he knew why it was called the snowy mountain.
The air that surrounded the mountains was cold, and the weather was snowy, Alex looked around and found large holes burrowed into so parts of the mountains.
"Those caves belong to the scorpions right?" Alex asked.
"Not all of them, follow I know the cave that belongs to scorpions"
"Didn't you say it was a desert scorpion, then why is it in a cave on a snowy mountain?"
"What do you think... let's keep moving, the cave is on that mountain" she pointed at the mountain on the left side.
"You know I'm still level 4 right, even though you gave the XP boost, we haven't encountered any animal or beast for to kill and level up"
"What about them"
Huntress pointed to the right and Alex looked over and saw so creatures moving up the mountains.
The creature had hoofed and stocky legs that they used to climb the mountain, they stood around three and a half feet tall.
"Mountain goats..." Alex was surprised.
"Yes, you can kill them and level up"
"Huh! goats...how much XP do they give and besides they are mountain goats, I'm not going to get close to any of them without scaring them away," Alex said.
"What if I serve them on a silver platter to you, so you can level up, and then we can move on..." she raised her voice.
"Okay...and stop shouting at , you don't know how old I am,"
"I was just about to say the sa thing, and you know we are near the mountains, I can kill you and run inside one of the caves, no one would find ," Huntress said.
"Stop talking about killing , and I'm ready let's kill so goats..."

"You know they are fast right, and we are in their territory, we can outrun them here," Alex said as both of them climb the mountain to their right.
The mountain had cracks that allowed easy climbing, but it was covered in snow so it was easy to misstep.
"I'm an Archer, so that's not a problem, I just need to injure their legs then you can kill them," the girl said.
"Okay, but can you give your dagger I don't have a weapon right now," Alex told her.
"Then grab a stone, I'm giving you the dagger only after you complete what I ask you to"
'She's clever, I should use the XP boost and see'
Alex opened his inventory and brought out a small potion bottle containing a red liquid.

Huntress gave him the XP boost on their way in case they co across any killable creatures but they did not.
Alex opened the bottle and began to drink the liquid, the liquid tasted like strawberry juice to Alex and he craved for more.

Alex heard a whizzing sound and he looked up imdiately, one of the goats was falling straight at Alex. He quickly moved backward and avoided the goat.
*Boom*
Both of them looked down and saw the goat trying to stand up, it landed on snow but two of the goat's legs were broken so he couldn't stand.
The rest of the goats quickly ran away far from the reach of both of them so they had to climb down.
