"Is that a healing orb?" Lena asked.
"No," Mary said as she stabbed Ray straight in his heart with a dagger.
Alex gasped and imdiately felt his consciousness slipping away till he faded into darkness.
"What!!" Lena shouted.
"W-What did you just do, why did you kill him?" Gabriel shouted.
"Because he needs to die so he can be revived, did you really think I'll kill him without a plan" Mary sneered.
"Well we don't know you...so when would be revived?" Max asked.
"Well that's the stuff, I don't know, maybe I'll ask my sister," Mary said as she began mumbling strange words.
"Hey hey, don't think of opening a portal and leaving, you'll stay here till he is revived" Lynx shouted as he pointed his gun at her head.
"Huh!! do you really think I'll run away, and besides I have other ways of opening portals so I can run away if I want" Mary shouted back.
"You guys are so loud" Alex spoke.
"Yeah, they are so loud...huh!! Alex!! Alex" Gabriel shouted and all of them turned towards him.
Alex was on the ground with his eyes opened, and to their surprise, his left hand which had been cut off had regenerated, all of them were focused on Lynx and Mary that they didn't notice his hand growing back.

"I'm fine" Alex replied as he sat up.
"See he's fine, what did I tell you" Mary snorted at Lynx who had nothing to say back.
Alex glanced through his stats to see the changes, since he was revived almost imdiately after his death, the five-level penalty didn't apply to his account, and his leather armor was gone so the 20HP increase was also gone.
'I gained 20,000 XP and moved up 2 levels, and the XP to level up is still at 15,000'
'My title is gone, my stats are good so I can do well without the increase, huh! slave contract, what the fuck is this'
"Is sothing wrong?" Lynx asked as Alex made a weird face.
"What is the aning of slave contract, I hope it's not what I'm thinking about" Alex spoke in a low voice.
"The girls, you killed the leader who was the slaver so you are now their master" Zina spoke.
"Wait I thought killing him would break the slave contract, we need to free the girls or we'll never get the 100 skill points," Alex said.
"You are right, is there a way to free them?" Max asked.
"There are two ways to free soone from a slave contract and we can't do either of them, first is to et the mage that did the contract, or you find another mage strong enough to break the contract" Lena spoke.
"So what would happen to the girls as I'm their master?" Alex asked.
"I don't know, it's up to you to decide," Lena said.
"So we're never getting the 100 skill points, at least we got to level up," Gabriel said.
"I got excited and used up all my remaining skill points hoping to complete the quest and get 100 more" Max mumbled.
"What are you guys saying, level up, skill points, what are those?" Zina asked.
"It's nothing important, just a habit," Max said with a smile.
"Since you are alive and well, I'm going back, I'll et you again," Mary said.
"Wait...is this the shadow potion you were talking about?" Alex asked as he took the potion out of his inventory.
"Where did you find it?" Mary asked imdiately.
"I knew it, the leader of the bandit had it, though he was afraid to drink it even though he was at death's door" Alex spoke.
"Can I hold on to it, I'll give it to Jessica to experint on it, you can always call my attention if you learn sothing new and I can co to you if we learn sothing new" Mary said.
"Okay, we'll search around his room, he might have hidden more of them," Alex said.
"Didn't you say he was afraid, if he was afraid of using it, I don't think he would have hidden more, and besides what is that shadow potion?" Lynx asked.
"Our new mission" Alex simply said.
"New mission, we don't even know anything about the potion, and besides why are we finding them, does the potion grant powers?" Max asked.
"Yes, but it's bad, right?" Gabriel asked.
"Yes, you might not have heard of it but it's quite common in the Gold and Silver continent, aning this bandit was connected to sothing far away" Mary spoke.
"And on that topic, I think soone is coming here this morning to buy slaves," Rebecca said.
"Here to buy slaves?"
"Yes, Zen was communicating with soone who is coming here today to buy slaves, I think he's selling the girls to soone" she replied.
"So he's connected to soone bigger, well I'm leaving to show this to my sister, bye," Mary said as the space in front of her cracked.
"Tell us about this shadow potion," Lynx said.
"It's a potion that grants the user power, but slowly corrupts them till they lose control and kill anyone in their part, even their families"
"So if the shadow potion is our new mission, what are we going to do exactly?" Max asked.
"Soone is responsible for creating the potion and he or she is still at large so they are our target," Alex said.
"So where are we going first, what do we do, how do we find info about the shadow potion, a potion like that would most likely be used in secret" Lynx spoke.
"We'll figure those things out later, it's not like we are going straight to the mission so we'll deal with those stuff later, first how do we get to Zenith City on foot"
"Rebecca said soone is coming, we just need to wait and hijack their carriage," Max said.
"Good idea...where is Bridget?" Alex asked and the rest of them looked around.
"We should check around, and we still haven't freed the girls, we should also search Zen's hut, he might have so valuable items there," Gabriel said.
The group spilt up and searched all the huts in the camp one after the other, Bridget was also found searching around the camp area.
"Hi, it's safe to co out now" Alex spoke as he opened a door, he went back to the room they first infiltrated to free the girl.
"Okay master," the girl said as she rushed outside.
"Master? I'm not your master, wait...how did you know I was the one that killed Zen?" Alex asked.
"A slave is able to recognize its owner, I didn't know you were the one that killed Zen, I just knew you were my master, I can't believe you defeated him, that ans you are really powerful" the girl spoke with a smile on her face, both her hands were in front and she wasn't looking at Alex's face.
"I can't take all the credit, I almost died, but since you know about the slave contract, do you know how we can break it or do you have any idea who's connected to Zen?"
"I don't know how to break the contract, but a wealthy rchant buys slaves from this camp and other camps, he takes around 10 girls anyti he's here, and he's been here twice since I was captured" the girl spoke.
"Okay, let's go," Alex said and the girl followed him till they arrived at where the others were.
"Master" the girls all spoke as soon as they saw Alex.
'It seems I got myself in trouble this ti, the sound of them calling master is...wait, I can use these girls right' Alex smirked.
"What evil plan are you cooking up this ti Alex, anyti you smirk you always have a bad plan," Gabriel said.
"I don't have any plan, so I'm the one that defeated Zen and I'm your new owner, so among you girls how many of you have combat skills?" Alex asked.
