A heavy, sticky liquid dripped out and all over their bodies, Moon Moon almost howling out in pain. But then it saw its master’s panicked expression.

But just as they were holding it in, the cave kept shaking even more. At this rate, they’d be completely buried alive! Since Jack had noticed, the system playfully chid in:

As soon as Jack heard the splashing sound, he rushed outside, Moon Moon right by his side! And they had barely co out when the entire cave behind them crumbled completely!
That had been so damn close! Half a second longer and—

Jack had barely warned that a boulder crashed right on the wall! As for the golem-like hand that had thrown it, it almost seed despondent as it hurriedly hid again.
It was only then that they had a respite...

Yes, that was the respite. Tons of friendly volcanic elentals coming over to help them burn their wounds away and give emotional support in the form of fireballs to the face.
Oh, and they sure lived up to their nas, for they were VERY friendly...

Just a hug, my ass! Jack felt like giving the System a good whooping! Still, even as he felt his blood boil, he patiently spamd the Legendary Water Pearl as he diligently bandaged Moon Moon.
At the mont, the little wolf was utterly perplexed as it looked at its leg. Why wasn’t it healing as fast as usual? Even a potion hadn’t gotten rid of the maid debuff.

At this mont, Jack’s mind was going full-throttle. This Trial was definitely way harder than it should have been! Was it all because of that one Mind Dominated guy sabotaging it? Nope!
No, all the guy had done was accelerate the global warming outside. As for the inside? In theory, it was an instance, not sothing that a lone mind-controlled guy would be able to affect.
Then, why the hell was this all so—
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Jack suddenly refocused on the Volcanic Elentals. By now, there were about 10 of them floating above the fiery abyss, just out of reach.
It was from that position that they had been spamming fireballs!

Jack had barely uttered that last line when he jumped into the volcano! He didn’t just lose his footing; he totally went for it, as eager as a fugly creature jumping after a ring!

He flew, but then ca gravity.... And he flew again?! Just before falling, Jack waved his hand, skeletons spawning right next to the ledge, ones that he used as a stepping stones!
— Jack & Skeletons crashed the party! —
He found himself in the elental circle, his HP getting drained by the second, -10, -10, -10, but he was also exactly where he wanted to be!
"Don’t you guys know? It’s important to stay hydrated!"
As he activated the water pearl at the perfect spot, the elentals were akin to small candles suddenly plunged into a pool! And as their bodies evaporated...

Bonus fire resist? Jack couldn’t help but nod approvingly, but he quickly gave up his ancient master deanor as he scrambled to summon undead, using them as footing to fly back!
Seeing this, there were stars in Moon Moon’s eyes.
"Woo!" (Master, you can fly?!)

No, the best he could do was hop in the air for a little bit, sothing that was pretty useful here. He couldn’t help but glance at the volcanic abyss. Huge, deadly, powerful!
His eyes traced the sinuous path that led downward before landing on the lava bellow. Explosive, bubbling, all-devouring, and hiding the craziest of monsters.
For an instant, he seed to peer through the veil...
"You can feel it, you bastard, can’t you? The air is changing, there are intruders in your domain, and so you ca to take a look. But you couldn’t be bothered to properly search."
To the thing hiding inside, they were re ants.
To the thing inside, they were worthless.
To the thing inside... FUCK IT!
In the extrely fiery atmosphere, Jack actually started laughing madly, a concerned wolf by the side asking a very burning question.

"Hehe, Ants about to devour a dragon..."
Ants?! At first, Moon Moon’s eyes showed incredible jealousy, but a second later, it couldn’t help but shake in joy. Wait, they were the ants that would feast?! It was already salivating!
But just as they were rejoicing, that’s when it happened. As if sensing the challenge, the abysmally powerful creature suddenly ca from another lap!
ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!
"Woo!" (Master, what’s the plan?)
"WE FUCKING RUN!" Before Moon Moon could even complain, Jack had already grabbed it and rushed into a nearby cave, confusing the poor wolf.
But then it happily observed as its master got busy. Were those runes?! They looked so damn powerful! ኦውራ መደበቂያ Was this how they would hunt the dragon?!
But then it all started... glowing?!
