Trisha Vincent.
If I could say the nas of the people who have left a strong impression on , I would say that Trisha Vincent was ranked sowhere between 30th and 40th. Honestly, given the number of people I have killed, made enemies of or completely destroyed, that’s pretty high up there.
Compared to Fredricka, the girl I t during my morning jog, Trisha Vincent was soone who stood on the opposite side. Being the daughter of the Vincents, a family of wealthy people who supported my enemies, she was soone whose life I had completely destroyed to the point of forcing her to commit suicide even.
Though the reason I rember her so clearly wasn’t just because of that. I an, I did investigate her completely along with the rest of the Vincents. About their pasts, their work and their daily routine. But the main reason she left a strong impression was the way I had finally t her.
She was begging not to kill her father and brother, even going as far as exchanging her own life for theirs. She was ready to sacrifice everything, her body, her ambitions and even her life just so that her family, whatever was left of it, could live for a few days more.
"Your family is selling orphanage children. They sell them either whole or their body parts to feed the rich and even take part in cannibalistic rituals. All this will be revealed to the world, with definite proof, a few hours after I am gone. So, if you have any lingering doubts, you can check on that."
I rember the last words that I spoke to her before I moved to kill her father and brother.
Even though I had decided to kill everyone, sohow, I found myself pitying her. Perhaps because her father didn’t want her to know about the ugly truth that runs in the family, it was sothing that was kept away from Trisha. Perhaps she was going to be told later, soday? Perhaps she would have accepted them? Or maybe rejected them?
It wasn’t sothing that I really cared about, though. I think I saw a glimpse of myself in her desperate look. I believe that was the sole reason I let her go that night.
Didn’t really matter since a few hours after the news, I heard, she too, committed suicide. Perhaps she was unable to bear all that pressure.
...
How should I do it this ti?
Long pink twin tails that reached below her feet and a vibrant, excited gaze in her similarly rose-coloured eyes made recall her in-ga character that she was famous for. Wearing a common grey attire, in contrast to the pink that she used to wear, she ran towards us at a fast pace.
I saw her running towards Raven, shouting her na out loud, almost ready to crash into her. Observing her with a calm look on her face, Raven first waited for her to get near, and then at the last mont...
[Side Step]
Raven took a sidestep, dodging her completely before she tripped on a random stone, idiotically falling on the ground.
The four of us looked at each other before turning to Raven, silently asking if she knew who she was? To which, the answer ca with a blunt ’no’ as Raven shrugged her shoulders before focusing back on Trisha.
"That hurts!" Groaning in slight pain, she then pushed herself up with her hands, standing up before dusting her coal-gray jeans, and a lighter shade T-shirt. Changing the previous, weird and sowhat creepy behaviour, she looked at us with a polite smile.
"I should control my excitent," she mumbled in a low tone under her breath, before politely bowing to Raven and the rest of us as she introduced herself,
"Ummm. I am Tristan Bear, a player from the nearby town. I saw your stream, and as soon as I heard that it was close to the town I was in, I ran as fast as I could."
Her gaze slowly drifted from Raven to Blaze before she continued,
"I have been watching your stream for a long ti, Blaze. My userna is also TristanBear, if you rember it. I have been an avid fan of yours since the days you used to stream Three Days War. Your thod of focusing on the lore and backstory of each NPC or artifact is sothing that I really admire."
Blaze’s eyes first widened hearing that familiar na before a slight smile appeared on his face, as he blushed hearing those words from a fan. He then looks at Trisha carefully, observing her from top to bottom, familiarising himself with her appearance, so as not to forget about her later.
"Link. The way you always have the right angle to shoot the stream from, and especially your editing and creative skills regarding the UTube videos are sothing that I love to watch from ti to ti. Thank you for creating sothing that I enjoyed."
In a few more words, she then made Link idiotically smile as he looked at her. Though compared to Blaze, he kept his face much calr than his partner, who was still smiling idiotically.
"Raven. Sorry to startle you, but I am really a fan of yours. Your biggest fan, perhaps! The way you conduct yourself in battle is sothing that I deeply fell in love with! Can we please be friends?"
She conveyed with an honest smile, making Raven look at her with a slight sigh before keeping her silence. Unlike the others, Raven did not care whether soone praised her or not. Trisha, perhaps already expecting this much, did not seem to be worried at her silent answer. Instead, she turned to with the most polite expression she could have had.
"Ezekiel. You are, by far, the best player I have ever seen in my life. I truly believe that you must be sobody equally great in real life too. While I won’t put myself at a point that I am your fan, I will still say that I admire you. Your thods, your analysis and the way you play this ga. If it does not interrupt you, will it be all right if I were to learn from you?"
Silence covered the area as the other three waited for my answer.
I can use her to destroy the Vincents. Since here I am, trying to change the fates of all those I strive to save... perhaps she too can be helped? Well. That is sothing her own choices would decide. I thought as I already had a rough idea of how to get the Vincents involved before slowly destroying them using their own ’loving’ daughter.
"Tomorrow after dawn we will be going on a small mission together. Prove your worth there, and I will see if you can join us or not," I decided, putting a bright smile on her face. She thanked with a slight bow before turning to Raven.
"Raven!"
"I am going to increase my level," As Trisha was getting closer to her, Raven turned around and moved towards the forest. Trisha, smiling, followed behind her as she waved at us.
I should [Log out].
I thought before deciding to go back to the inn as well.
