So how did Blaze beco a gar?

For starters, it was just like any other kid with a PC or a Console.

His father had bought the latest console for him on his 7th birthday, and both of them used to play gas on it every night. So much so that it had beco a ritual for them.

They would play shooting gas, sotis single-player RPGs, taking turns at each mission, and lastly, Co-Op gas where both of them would try their best to make things difficult for each other.

Those were the fun days for Blaze, where he would lose track of ti, often missing school the next day, while his father, who worked from Ho, would get scolded by his mother at the sa ti along with him.

For the first three years of his gaming career, Blaze was a casual gar who loved playing a variety of gas without any deeper aning behind them. But on a casual Tuesday when his father asked him if he wanted to stream his gas, his life took a radical turn.

He picked up gaming. Not only as a ans of enjoynt but as a way of earning. He looked through a dozen UTube videos, analysed the strears' way, and once he sowhat understood how to do it, he started streaming his own gas.

At first, it was 'No Comntary' type of videos.

He would go live-streaming without showing his face or voice, while recording the entire thing and then posting it on UTube.

As for the plan, it was simple.

An easy walkthrough to complete the ga first.

Then, a speed run on the easiest difficulty at the lowest ti possible. Then to the standard.

And lastly, when he was accustod to it, he would stream his most hardcore plays online. His failures, his thods, everything was stread there before being published on UTube.

He would then repeat with multiple playthroughs, each ti adding a different limit. Knife-only runs, handgun-only runs, speedruns under a fixed ti or sotis a no-kill run except when the story demands.

Did it work out for him?

Sowhat.

It didn't make him rich, but it earned him monetisation and even so bucks with which he could buy more gas, and in turn do more streams with them.

But the ga changer was when he started streaming with comntary.

What used to be 3 to 4 views turned to the 50s, within a month, when he started comnting and showing his face. Not because he was a great gar, but because he was the most idiotic.

He would dive into zombies just to see how they would bite, and then laugh, saying it was all calculated. Not many loved it, but he gained fans. He would explore things that other strears often miss and then explain his own hypothesis on it.

That's how he started gaining attraction in the world of strears.

But just because he was an idiotic strear doesn't an he was bad at it. It simply ant that he wasn't a professional.

He liked fighting with swords and spears, and more often chose a warrior than a mage in gas. Simply because they were easier to explain in the lore terms. He would deep dive into various thods of using warrior-based skills and how they might have been ford.

Once again, not many loved it, but he gained fans.

Among the gas he had played, his favourite were the ones with lore elents more focused than others. Though, because of the accident which took his parents' lives, and brought him to a situation where streaming decided his life, he had forced himself to choose gas that were more famous than the others.

Everything else beca secondary.

That is, until Arcadia ca into the picture.

That is, until he t Ezekiel in Arcadia.

In just a few days, all of his problems were solved. Everything that troubled him was gone, with a path opened for him where he could do whatever he wanted and choose to live however he wished.

So he recalled a dream he had long forgotten.

That is to stream for fun without worrying about the consequences. To dive into the deepest lore of the ga and have fun in his explorations. And… to also be better in gaming than he could have ever been.

With the restrictions of money gone, he can now choose to focus so of his ti to learn a few more moves. A few more skills. A few more thods to hunt monsters. Perhaps it won't land him in the top… but at least, it would allow him to enjoy this ga more than he would without it.

All right. Ti to show what you have learnt, Blaze. He reminded himself as he recalled the playstyle that he usually focused on.

-Whoosh!

The first attack was planned to dish out as much damage as it could. But before it could even reach the target…

"Whoa! Easy there," the man easily dodged it with a side step before pointing his rapier at Blaze's neck. A small smile is present on his face as he adds,

"You have to do better than that kid."

Taking a step back, Blaze then observed the man for a few more seconds before skilfully rotating his spear and going in with a thrust, which was once again easily dodged by that man.

"Try harder. And this ti, try to read my movents first. If you look carefully, you will be able to see," that man said again, almost cheering for Blaze.

[Thrust!]

This ti, Blaze used a thrust skill. It was faster, stronger and much more accurate than what he could have done on his own. But unsurprisingly, that man sighed, dodging once again before adding,

"Now you are seriously disrespecting ."

He did not seem happy with Blaze using the skill.

"So how am I even supposed to defeat you?" Blaze asked, a bit frustrated. He could see that this boss monster, this holess-looking man, was far more skilled than he was. Perhaps Ezekiel and Raven could fight on an equal level against him, but for Blaze, it would be almost impossible to do so.

"You can't. That's the point," that man answered with a sowhat returning smile.

While it seed impossible, Blaze decided not to give up. Not only because Ezekiel had ordered him to fight, but also because he wanted to see what was up with this boss.

Maybe not winning, but chipping so of his HP? He thought as he changed his direction of thinking.

-Whoosh!

Blaze decreased the distance between them before moving in for a front attack. Then a side attack where that man had dodged, and three more thrusts in the direction he seed to be moving.

This continued for about 3 minutes until Blaze's stamina ran out, while that man clapped for Blaze.

"That's good sport, kid. Continue, and you will be gaining height in a decade or so."

The words were… not comforting at all.

It took about a minute for Blaze to restore his stamina before he once again went all in against that boss monster, who was continuously dodging all of Blaze's attacks without even a hint of exhaustion on his face.

In fact, he seed more energised after the exchange than before.

"If I were to give you so pointers, then it would be best for you to stop worrying about getting an attack in and focus more on making a proper attack," that man added as he saw Blaze slashing randomly at this point.

"aning?" Blaze asked, a bit confused.

"Every attack has a value. The first attack you put all your effort into was good. But everything else that followed was half-hearted. If you had put the exact sa effort, or a little more, in all of your attacks, perhaps your chances of hitting would have increased marginally. Get what I am saying?" the man gave his advice, making Blaze widen his eyes for a mont.

His grip tightened as he continued attacking, though this ti, putting in more effort than ever, in each strike that he was following through.

"Good! Good! That's what I am talking about! Now that's so neat work!" That man shouted in ecstasy, his eyes glistening with happiness, as he still managed to dodge all of Blaze's attacks without any visible effort.

Even better, Blaze's stamina was down to zero in half the ti that it had been before.

"It doesn't seem like I would be able to do it," Blaze said, almost giving up. His eyes observed that man, wondering if there was a way for him to defeat him. But if he can't even get a single attack in, how would he be able to follow through the rest of the tricks he had learnt?

"How about you increase your Stamina first? And also, polish your attacks even more? Maybe that way you can try to last longer?" That man spoke, wondering how to help Blaze defeat him.

Quite a peculiar scenario.

Though before Blaze could complain about his Stamina being fixed in the ga, sothing really surprising happened.
