While this ancient garden itself was self-sustaining as long as the criteria of soil, light and air were t, the task of beautifying it required an added need for detail. And by added detail, I an a hell of a lot of added details on it.
Trimming the overgrown grass, the trees and the topiary were a few smaller tasks that needed to be done. Shifting and replanting the statues from one place to another was one of the hardest tasks.
Adding to this, not only were there hidden puzzles that needed to be solved in the garden, but also many things that needed to be rearranged to recreate the exact look this garden once had.
I should be just glad that I don’t have to do everything all by myself. I thought as I looked at the party mbers, whom I can count on for the hard work. If I were to do it all alone, it would have taken days, if not weeks.
As for the question of how I know what the original look of the garden was? Well, let’s just say that I tried so many tis that I could easily recreate the entire garden in my dreams if I wanted to.
I looked at the grasses, then at the statues. Lastly, on the marble path that was broken and patchy from the wear of ti. Turning back to the party, I pondered for a mont before deciding how to divide the work between them.
"Blaze, cut those grasses there to a length of 5 cm. Use the system asurent commands to set to the correct point and make sure everything is almost perfect," I commanded Blaze first.
The system commands were used for creation purposes, aiding people in building their own constructs and things that they would be interested in. Its application also spread across various classes like blacksmiths, alchemists, etc, making it a quite useful part of the ga. The only limitation on it was that you can’t use it during combat, though, honestly, that would be overkill.
"Link, I want you to push all the movable statues here. G, go help him on it," then the rest of the boys.
"Trisha and Raven, I want you to go bring so broken rubble from the front of the church; there should be piles of it. Bring them as much as you can and place them in the gaps of the paths within the garden," lastly, I commanded the rest of the party.
Setting up the path, relocating the statues and cutting the grass at perfect angles. After that, there is unlocking the chanisms, changing the structure of the garden through those chanisms and using that special feature of this dungeon to reach our reward. I recalled the steps once again before waiting for G and Link to bring the statues closer to the central part of the garden.
"Bring the others as well. Once I finish unlocking the chanism, please move it to the location I guide you to," I then added, to which Link and G nodded before moving to bring the rest of the statues.
While the others continued doing what I asked them to, I then began looking through the puzzles in the statues, unlocking their hidden features one by one.
So changes were minor, as the spear man statue just opened his eyes, and the horse statue grew a single horn on its head. The others were far more noticeable with a total change in their position, or sotis outright unsheathing their weapons, as if preparing for a fight.
The entire process, including what the rest of the party mbers were doing, took 4 hours before things started looking better in the garden.
Doesn’t this look cool? I smiled as I saw the garden slowly shaping up nicely. The others also noticed the changes, bearing a slightly amazed look on their faces as they saw the changes in the garden.
Previously, the forest had turned into a garden. Now, that sa garden looked far more enchanting than the one we cleaned up 4 hours ago. The grasses were levelled, the weeds were gone, the statues looked more aningful, the corners were clean, and the flowers seed to be ready to bloom anyti now.
Because it was the result of our hard work, it looked even better than it normally was.
Though one thing that was different from my past life was that this ti, the entire garden looked complete. It did not need any additional plantations compared to the last ti.
I guess I wasn’t really perfect with my approach last ti, huh? I concluded that the extra seeds in the cetery made think that the gaps were intended that way. I did not know that we could achieve this level of perfection even without that additional step.
This also made wonder if there was an additional use of those seeds.
Perhaps to plant the sa trees in our own garden? I pondered the uses, wondering if there was sothing special about these flowers and fruits. Sothing that I could have missed last ti.
"Looks cool, really," Link said while the others nodded. Blaze then turned to and said,
"Man! All this hard work feels nice when the result is nice. Don’t you agree as well, chat?"
Perhaps so of the comnts were highly active; he was constantly reading and answering them. I saw him reading sothing for a few seconds before turning to ,
"It could be. Let ask. Boss! What’s the next task? Do we need to water the plants and grow them as well?"
He was amused at his words, but then, having a second thought about it, he believed that it was indeed possible. Though that was not needed. We had done everything we could have.
"I was thinking of that, but I don’t think we need to do anything more here. As I was solving the puzzles and the chanism, I ca across sothing really fascinating. Sothing that matches the the of this place," I said in a rather mysterious tone, making everyone curious about it.
"Though rather than telling you all, how about I just show it?" I said with a bright smile before continuing,
"mI lkima lijea pia maaapi!!!(Oh Garden of Ti, the ti has co for you to bloom!!!)"
These words were indeed present there. Just not inside that garden but on a broken slab outside it. Though going all the way to ruins and collecting those slab pieces and finding out the correct answer was honestly a much bigger hassle than just speedrunning this.
Even if it were the wrong answer and things changed from the past, it doesn’t really matter. We could just go by the usual long route instead. Though still a hassle, it was sothing that needed to be done anyway.
Though it doesn’t seem like I need to worry about that. I smiled as I saw the change in the garden.
The world shook ever so slightly, as the effects were felt but were too small to notice. But the change. It was apparent. It was visible.
Flowers blood as if going through a tamorphosis, the statues ca alive as the knight stood up, walked towards the horse and rode it around the garden.
The blooming flowers then released their spores in the air, filling it with dense mana that enriched knights even more than before. Colours sprang as the stony armour turned tallic. The white straps turned brown, revealing a rich leather-like colour that was both odd and satisfying to see against the tallic armour that the knight wore.
We saw the garden co alive, as the trees that were barely holding on to their lives were now growing at a rapid pace, becoming big and strong. Enough to shelter the flowers, and then bear fruits that they should have taken ages to create.
It was the magic of Ti.
Fascinating as it was, the entire thing was a result of the magic created by the God of ti, who programd the statues, the flowers, the trees and perhaps the entire garden to function like a living, breathing entity, when called upon by its real na.
Words could not describe the expression that Blaze and the others were bearing. Adding to them, perhaps even the stream would be far too engrossed with this beauty that was presented in front of them.
They looked at it, amazed, their eyes glued to the dozens of phenona occurring at an insane speed, a little too fast for them to register everything at once.
Which made giggle a little.
I wonder how they would feel if they were told that each of the events here would lead to a reward on its own. I smiled as I couldn’t wait for the show to end and we could go and bear the rewards for the hard work we had done all day.
Last ti, I had to choose only one of the 12 rewards presented to , each item far better than the rest. Though this ti, since we had 6 players, I suppose we could get half of the rewards. This would also satisfy the party mbers since they wouldn’t feel like they were not gaining anything after all the travelling and hard work they had done over the past four days, including today.
"Blaze, now. I would like you to go near that statue and kill yourself," I spoke with a calm smile as I looked at him without any tension on my face.
