It took Kreth 7 days to trace Felix and the key officials of his organisation.
It wasn't an easy task, he first needed to track the movents of the Red Umbrella establishnt owner who would at the end of each day head out with two rcenaries to deposit that day's money collection to a secondary point.
From that secondary point, the money trail went underground and Kreth had a hard ti tracking them, however, with a bit of snooping around during the daylight when the underground tunnels were not used much, he managed to trace it to the basent of a popular bakery in Zandar.
The next day, as he observed the bakery all day, he realised that many powerful adventurers entered the bakery for absurdly long periods of ti as while they went in empty hand and ca out with bags full of goods, it took them sowhere between 2-4 hours to co out which was much longer than the average custor.
Unsurprisingly all these adventurers that spent a long ti within the bakery, belonged to the sa guild and a quick check of their guild assets within the city led Kreth to discover the small illegal port point that this guild operated from where they granted pirates a place to dock and a safe entry into Zandar.
From bribing local officers to hiring a private rcenary force, the Red Umbrella group used many nefarious ans to bend and break the law and had a complete hold over the city of Zandar and while Felix did not seem directly linked to any of this shady work, there was no question in Kreth's mind that he was behind this all.
The big break for Kreth, however, ca when he spotted Felix himself on the streets of Zandar as although he was covered in a hood and escorted by 10 powerful guards, his excellent red eyes and his arrogant use of language was sothing that was hard to miss.
He was seen entering the largest Red Umbrella establishnt in the city and right after he entered, The bakery owner, the smaller establishnt owners, The guildmaster of the affiliate guild and so of the pirate representatives all entered the sa building, as Kreth understood that a big eting was about to take place.
Realising that this might be his big chance, since etings like this did not happen often, Kreth ambushed and beat up a pirate heading towards the eting mid-way and stole his clothes and invite pass, before making his way to the establishnt himself.
At this mont, what he was doing was nothing more than a daring gamble, however, since Max did not intervene, Kreth felt like he was on the right track.
He felt anxious when he showed his invite to the receptionist at the establishnt entrance, however, he was received with no suspicion as he was guided towards the hidden back room where the eting was taking place.
On his way there, Kreth saw a lot of scenes that he had never seen before including all sorts of beautiful won drunk on aphrodisiacs and craving the touch of n, as after seeing the beauty of a couple of won he had to swallow so saliva himself as watching them touch themselves made his mind go blank.
Thankfully, he quickly reached the eting room, which looked like the gathering of thugs from top to bottom, where he was guided towards a seat beside the other pirates working under the red umbrella banner.
Felix Aurelius was seated at the head of the table and paid little attention to Kreth who kept his hood on as he talked to his imdiate subordinates about this etings agenda.
Kreth said nothing, but only observed the room and the mbers inside as soon more mbers filled up the room and once it was at capacity the official proceedings began.
" Greetings-, As you all know, I don't like to start a eting on a negative note, however, like everyti we et, I have so bad news to share this ti as well-
Our very first attempt to take down a Vampire Ship and spread terror has failed terribly and we don't understand why?
Apparently, A god level warrior was aboard that ship and single handedly wiped out the entire pirate crew.
The only explanation we have for now is that Max Rajput already knows about our petty plans and has taken counterasures before we gain any montum.
Since I don't want in-fighting, I won't pick you guys apart or accuse anyone of being a traitor who leaks information to Max Rajput that fraud, however, I'll let you know, that I have my eyes on all of you-" Felix said as a grim atmosphere took over the room as everyone began eyeing everyone else suspiciously.
The very first operation had failed? And that too spectacularly? It wasn't good news for the organisation and if a god level entity showed up then it definitely could not be a coincidence.
" As for today's eting, let's discuss about the future. What's done is done and can't be changed, however, what we need to focus on as of now is to infiltrate the governnt.
We already have the support of two clans, but we don't have an inside man within the governnt.
Max Rajput has bloody handpicked all his internal ministers and they are loyal as hell to him.
What we need is to raise a spy and start investing in him today so that maybe ten years down the line he becos a part of Max's inner circle" Felix said as Kreth felt his heartbeat quicken.
This shady organisation was not planning anything for today or tomorrow, but rather ten years down the line and were planning to be really patient about how they overthrew the governnt!
" Ten years is too far- We need to move quicker" The adventurer group leader said as Felix shook his head and banged his fist on the table.
" Max Rajput CAN'T be defeated. He killed Dracula damnit, the sa entity that my father died against and that too after being a tier weaker.
He's the supre lord of the universe and can wipe out a billion organisations like us with a snap of his finger.
Till he rules, there is NO chance of us doing anything, however, the day he ascends or dies is the day we are preparing for today.
It might co ten years later, it might co fifty years later, however when it cos is when we strike as although Max Rajput is untouchable, His son is a joke and can't fill his shoes.
The Rajput bloodline ends with Max, and we shall make sure of it" Felix said as he exploded with passion and ensured that his point of view resounded loud and clear within the room.
The adventurer leader was not happy with this response, however, he understood that it was the right answer.
Max Rajput was untouchable indeed and there were already rumours in the market about how he single-handedly beat all three angel monarchs black and blue without breaking a sweat.
Such a being could not be challenged, but maybe the next generation of Rajput's could.
After all, Kreth Jr was definitely not his father.
