He had vowed internally to show Yone his best performance whenever partying with him so that he would get invited later on in his guild once it was official. If he died now or another ti, his reputation in his eyes would be no more.

’Am I just gonna et my first death without even reaching our destination?’ Silent Wall despaired as he thought about it, his eyes bloodshot.

Although this was not his fault and the forest’s canopy was so thick that seeing any spider above them was nigh-impossible, he should still be the tank everyone wished to have and not a random that died over the smallest mistake and random agro of monsters.

Then, a blast of white light was seen covering the tank’s body.

A glowing glyph burned into the ground under Silent Wall’s body. Ti seed to pause for a second, then his HP returned to full the next instant.

The Save the Day healing spell that healed one of full hp instantly was cast on him by a cleric.

However, instead of joy, everyone was dumbfounded.

"We have no healer, don’t we?" Swift Slash couldn’t help but think as he rubbed the back of his head.

Silent Wall gasped, coughing as his body surged back to motion almost imdiately and took agro of the monsters who thought he died and switched agro.

"Hold the damn line!" Calm Sea’s voice rang out as she strode into view, robe torn at the edge, staff crackling. She raised her hand again.

[Group Heal – Radiant Surge]

All party mbers recover 120 HP.

Yone felt warmth spread through his limbs. His health bar jumped as the poison inflicted on him stopped ticking.

At this mont, everyone knew who the cleric was who healed them, as Calm Sea was in view, running toward them.

"Not bad, such improvent in heals is decent after one hell mode dungeon loot," Yone muttered, cutting through the stunned spider with a brutal combo.

"Thought you weren’t joining us this run," Yone said to Calm Sea.

"I lied," she smirked. She then cast Shield of Light on him as he charged back in.

Now the fight was back in their control.

Now they had their healer.

Within a few minutes, all the monsters had been dealt with as HP wasn’t a concern anymore, and everyone could fight more freely, allowing themselves to take even more attacks without dodging in order to push their damage even higher.

Yone looked at Calm Sea as he was collecting the loot while rolling on so of the items dropped, and couldn’t help but feel suspicious,’ Her skills and deanor, is she really the Amy I know?’

Yone had many doubts as he casually probed her, using his identity being hidden," Calm Sea, where is Life? Why didn’t she co with you?"

Calm Sea’s eyes opened, she blinked innocently as she was busy regenerating her mana, just focusing on the strange flow inside of her body, trying to figure out a thing or two, but couldn’t.

"Life told that her father is stepping down from being Iron Fang’s guild leader, and she will take the lead in his place. She is very busy, and she even told to apologize to you once again." Calm Sea had no reason to hide such information since it was going public in so ti and just outright said it.

"I...I..." Yone’s mouth opened and closed twice, but no words ca out. He was a bit flashed as he didn’t know what was going on once again!

’What’s wrong with this tiline, one surprise after another?’ He was lost in thought as he could ignore other small details, but so cannot be ignored, and especially not Amy having connections with soone on the status of Life.

If she had such friendships in her past life, she would have never bothered to take a second glance at him and never cared about entertaining the thought of having a relationship with him in hopes of getting rich.

"Requiem, are you okay?" Calm Sea asked, concerned whether he maybe placed a lot of pressure on his mind by playing for so long while being focused to such a degree.

Yone waved his hand," I’m fine, I’m just surprised Life had such a background."

As Yone would recall, and the reason why he felt a bit lost...was that Life’s family in his past life was rely an ordinary one, and that’s why she was treated that way in the first place by a random guy to the point where she had to commit suicide.

It was unacceptable for any person to do that, no matter the hardships they go through in life, but it spoke volus about her sufferings. Yet, Yone was confident that if she had a good background, such a thing would never have occurred.

Calm Sea felt a bit weird as she played with her fingers and thought,’ Are n more attracted to rich girls? Is that why Yone’s treatnt of is cold?’ Amy couldn’t help but have such thoughts as she evaluated her choices.

She then shook her head and denied it,’ No, he can’t be such a materialistic person. Plus, my father’s words are absolute, and it’s not like I can do anything about it.’

After dealing with the goblins on the way and the random spiders getting agroed out of nowhere and spending an hour moving forward through the lake’s forest, Yone’s party had finally arrived in front of a mountain.

The massive mountain was hundreds of ters in height. Goblins no longer filled the area surrounding the mountain, as only Kobolds could be seen all around the mountain.

"Party leader, don’t tell him we’re fighting those monsters?" Swift Slash couldn’t help but break into a sweat as he looked at the several Kobold monsters numbering in the tens, if not hundreds, as they dug into the mountains using weird-looking shovels of unknown material, with an occasional big Kobold that held a whip and looked like their master.

Yone chuckled but didn’t reply as he just moved his finger and pointed it at a direction just at the foot of the mountain.

"No, we are entering inside of that mine entrance."
