Chapter 1336: Black Dragon Guild
The Quan Zhen Sect had always been like that. If soone respects them, they will show them the sa level of respect. If soone disrespects them, they will not hesitate to be ruthless and vicious towards them.
This bunch of players had always been decisive when killing others in the ga. After playing the ga for such a long ti, their temperants were significantly different from those rules-abiding players. With a weapon in their hand, their fearso attitude had always shocked others.
The fact that the short Warrior dared to chase Boson away ant that he wasn’t soone who was easily frightened. However, he was certainly not a fool.
Even though the Quan Zhen Sect did not display the full abilities of their weapons, the looks of either Boson’s Sword of God or Crotch Lord’s Shield of God were enough to warn the short Warrior that these were high-end weapons.
In addition to the fearso temperant of the Quan Zhen Sect, this short Warrior was instantly terrified as he replied with a shaky voice, “All you Chinese... Don’t you know that this is our Black Dragon Guild’s territory?”
Despite saying that, his shaky voice already showed the Quan Zhen Sect that he was terrified. He was essentially hoping that they would spare his life on behalf of the prestige of his guild.
If the Quan Zhen Sect understood what he was saying, they might just let him off because they weren’t completely unreasonable people. However, because of the language barrier, they did not understand what he was saying.
“What did he say? Is he crying out ‘Spare my life, Daddy?’”
Ming Du asked Boson when he saw the short Warrior chirping away in a foreign language.
Boson translated, “He says sothing about being in the Black Dragon Guild and that this is their territory!”
The way Boson translated might have the sa aning but the context and tone resulted in a completely opposite reaction that the short Warrior expected... It was directly interpreted by Ming Du as trying to provoke him.
The Quan Zhen Sect were all players who might let you off if you showed signs that you knew your worth and value in front of them. If soone tried to show off their own guild to frighten or scare them, it wouldn’t really work that well.
Moreover, the person speaking was a ruthless fella like Ming Du!
The mont Boson translated that, Ming Du imdiately shouted, “Black f*ck!” while raising his staff. A lightning bolt descended from the sky which turned that short Warrior into dust within seconds.
“!!!”
Once the short Warrior was instant-killed by Ming Du, all the other players by the shore were stunned. Following which, they quickly kept their weapons and left hurriedly.
This ti, the Quan Zhen Sect’s players were the stunned ones. Just how timid were these Japanese players? The Quan Zhen Sect was not even targeting them so why did they run away so hurriedly?
Just then, one of the players who was conversing with Boson ca over and said, “Aren’t you guys going to run away?”
“Run away? Why?” Boson questioned.
That player replied, “My friend, the player that your friend killed is a mber of the Black Dragon Guild! Quickly leave and it would be best if you return to where you ca from!”
After saying that, that player left without turning his head once.
For strangers coming together by chance, giving them one warning was already showing extre benevolence. He couldn’t possibly await his death together with them.
“Black Dragon Guild?” After hearing this na again, Black Dragon Guild scratched his chin and asked Frost Blade, “Do you guys know anything about the Black Dragon Guild?”
Frost Blade was constantly surfing the internet and checking out the forum. Therefore, he automatically beca the main source of information for the Quan Zhen Sect and should have heard of this guild.
“Black Dragon Guild?” Frost Blade pondered for a mont before replying, “This na sounds slightly familiar but I don’t do business with the Japanese so I am not too sure. As you all know, more Japanese prefer to play stand-alone gas and there are seldom capable Japanese players in online gas.”
“I know about this guild!”
Suddenly, Fearless interrupted, “The Black Dragon Guild is the most powerful guild across the entire Immortal Island! They are extrely influential! Most of the districts across Immortal Island are essentially within their control.”
“Are you sure you’re talking about Immortal Island? And not just Saga City?” Boson turned around to ask.
No matter how small Immortal Island was, it was still made up of six main cities. How can a single guild have this much control?
“Of course Immortal Island!” Fearless continued, “These fellas are relatively tyrannical as ordinary players who want to travel out of the city have to pay fees to do so!”
“Wow! Is this for real?”
Everyone couldn’t believe what they heard from Fearless.
All of them were considered experienced players who had seen all kinds of major guilds bullying and taking advantage of ordinary players. However, most of them rely seized the better training areas for themselves and would even give up these areas during tis when they were not using.
As for collecting fees, major guilds would rely try to earn so profits by charging others when they enter their mining caves... After all, the major guild’s players would be the ones clearing the monsters in these caves so it was reasonable for them to charge so commission.
Therefore, it seed a little overboard that the Black Dragon Guild actually collected fees from players who were simply trying to level up.
Everyone ca to have fun in the ga so why should they be forced to pay additional fees to a third party? Why didn’t the gaming company step in to do anything about such behaviours which were clearly affecting the overall experience of these players?
“There was no other choice...” Fearless shook his hands, “There were never a lot of Japanese players in this ga to begin with. With half of all these players in the Black Dragon Guild, no ordinary player would dare to oppose them... The gaming company still needs these players to play their ga so they can only turn a blind eye to this.”
This made perfect sense.
The majority of their players were used to resigning themselves to adversity. With the low employnt rate in Japan, those who ca to make a living in the ga were basically those who were struggling to make a proper living.
As they finally found a place to make so money, they didn’t mind and couldn’t do anything about being bullied by others. Only a small minority of people would actually dare to oppose the Black Dragon Guild or actually give up on the ga.
The purpose of the gaming company was to make money so they were naturally not going to offend the majority of players for this minority.
“Sigh... what a worthless bunch!”
Everyone couldn’t help but shake their heads at the thought of that. After which, Frost Blade turned to ask Fearless, “Speaking of which, how did you know so much about the Black Dragon Guild?”
“I’ve enquired about them...” Fearless smiled.
Boson was surprised, “You have friends in Japan? How did I not know that?”
“Hehe!” Fearless chuckled, “I asked Evil Rampage!”
Everyone, “...”
Evil Rampage’s Peerless Heaven in China had the sa status as Black Dragon Guild in the Japanese server.
As a qualified businessman, he had to keep up with the tis. Since the system started rging data across the world, Evil Rampage had to know more about his competitive rivals across the globe. Therefore, he started collecting information about his major rivals and Black Dragon Guild was simply one of them.
“So what do we do now? Head back?” Spring Halo, who had been quiet the whole ti, suddenly asked.
Since Black Dragon Guild’s influence spread across the entire Immortal Island, everyone knew that they were not a bunch to be trifled with. After killing one of their n, there was bound to be more trouble if they stayed.
One must know that Immortal Island was not just a continent but an entire island! If they were in Brave Continent, the Quan Zhen Sect wouldn’t be that bothered or concerned with all these. However, everything was different now that they were in Immortal Island.
