Equipping it granted him the powerful spell [Frost Wave], and the fact that it didn’t require a tier slot was a great advantage.
The staff was also upgradeable, just like his [Water Cannon], so Xin could enhance it and add features with the right materials.
Even though the staff only added 50 INT compared to his [Water Cannon]’s 100 INT, Xin decided to keep it, as he sensed it could be useful in the future.
Sadly, the Dragon Scale Mail couldn’t be equipped by mages like him, so he made the wise choice to auction it.

With his preparations complete, Xin inquired around the town for quests related to Illyath. Stuck on Newbie Island while waiting for the Auction to conclude, Xin decided to make the most of his ti by taking on so quests.
He didn’t forget to visit Illyath either, allowing her to study the rare items he had acquired, just as she wanted.
He chose to receive an EXP reward instead of a blessing since Xin didn’t need a blessing at the mont.
Blessings mainly provided temporary stat boosts or protection against status effects for a limited ti.

Sir Ezra had been in Seagull’s Nest all along, but for so reason, he didn’t have any quests for Xin when they first spoke.
Xin discovered that Sir Ezra, who claid to be a nobleman from an unknown kingdom, had sohow convinced many in the town of his identity.
However, he was wary of eting the town’s leaders, Glesga and Drasta, fearing that his true identity would be exposed.
Since Xin’s [Relationship Level] with Ezra was already MAX, granting him access to the spy’s real information.
It turned out that Ezra was actually a Reef Raider spy, infiltrating the town to gather valuable information. He saw players as walking treasure hoards, seeking to exploit them for the benefit of the Reef Raiders.
