The Yokai guards suddenly found themselves overwheld by the onslaught of Nightshade and his guild mbers.

The clash was intense, with each side utilizing a variety of skills and items in their arsenal.

Nightshade was really a core mber of the top two guild and earned his right as the vice leader. He darted between Yokai opponents, striking with precision and speed. His dual daggers glead in the ambient light as he parried and countered the Yokai attacks.

anwhile, Luna unleashed devastating spells, creating explosions of magical energy that left Yokai guards in disarray.

Drakoon swung in wide arcs, cleaving through the Yokai ranks. His strength and resilience proved challenging for the Yokai to counter.

Ignis, though conflicted, couldn’t deny his prowess in battle. He strategically supported the group with well-tid CC skills, ensuring that he tanked for the group.

The Yokai guards fought valiantly, but they were at a disadvantage. Their abilities and attacks that were rooted in their nature, were t with the diverse and dynamic skills of the players.

The clash of magic, steel, and Yokai powers created a chaotic spectacle in the village entrance.

As the fight raged on, the Yokai guards struggled to adapt to the unpredictability of the players.

Nightshade’s guild, on the other hand, had honed their skills through various battles and quests, giving them a strategic advantage.

The players seamlessly coordinated their attacks, exploiting weaknesses in the Yokai guards’ defenses.

The clash resonated with a symphony of battle cries, magical incantations, and the clash of weapons. The once peaceful village entrance beca a battlefield, and the air was thick with tension and the scent of combat.

Nightshade, in the midst of the chaos, managed to decipher so of the Yokai guards’ patterns. Exploiting this newfound knowledge, he directed his guild mbers to focus on specific adversaries, gradually breaking the cohesion of the Yokai’s defense.

The players’ adaptability, diverse skills, and superior equipnt began to turn the tide of the battle.

The Yokai guards, realizing their disadvantage, fought with a sense of desperation.

However, the players’ relentless assault and strategic maneuvers were too much for them to handle. Slowly but surely, the Yokai guards began to falter.

The once vibrant and serene Yokai village entrance now bore the scars of battle. Cracks appeared on the cobblestone paths, and the quaint trees stood witness to the clash between two worlds.

The players, driven by their determination to enter the village and acquire new kinds of pets and treasures, pressed on, gradually gaining control of the chaotic skirmish.

In the midst of the struggle, Xin and the others observed from a distance, contemplating the unintended consequences of Nightshade’s impulsive actions.

The clash between Yokai and players marked a turning point, and the repercussions of this confrontation would undoubtedly show itself sooner rather than later.

"Should we help?" Seraphim asked indifferently, her gaze fixed on the unfolding conflict without care. She only asked because Lord Scrooge seed like he wanted to help.

Victor released a sigh, torn between his disdain for Ignis and the others and the reluctance to make an unnecessary enemy out of Doombringers. "As much as I want to deal with Ignis and the others, I don’t want to make an unnecessary enemy out of Doombringers."

Xin was just observing the situation, and chose not to comnt, maintaining his own expression behind his cloak.

Amidst the tension, Sylvan’s voice cut through the chaotic atmosphere, prompting a montary pause in the skirmish.

"What’s going on here?"

All eyes turned to Sylvan, who wore a horrified expression at the sight of Ignis, Luna, and Drakoon engaged in battle with the Yokais.

"Ignis, Luna, and Drakoon?! Why are you fighting the Yokais?!" Sylvan demanded an explanation.

"Why?" Luna sneered. "Because we want to enter the village, that’s why."

Sylvan was puzzled, and glanced toward Victor and the others. "Huh? Didn’t Grey Smoke and the others . . ."

Sylvan’s question hung in the air as his gaze shifted to Lord Scrooge and the others standing at the sidelines. The situation grew more perplexing by the mont.

"What’s going on here?"

When the Yokai guards found a temporary respite in the fight, they seized the opportunity to retreat back to the castle.

"Retreat!"

"Report to Lady Satomi!"

"Retreat and heal the wounded!"

As the Yokais withdrew, Sylvan’s attention shifted back to Nightshade and his group. "Who are you, and why are you fighting with them, Ignis?"

Ignis was still feeling the weight of sha, and forced an awkward laugh. "Sorry, Sylvan. I auctioned the map to them. I needed the money."

Sylvan’s expression remained unchanged, a mixture of disappointnt and resignation. "I see . . . if you needed the money, you could have co to . I’m willing to pay you whatever amount just to keep this village from the others."

"Huh? Are you planning to hog all the Kitsunes to yourself?" Luna scoffed, a hint of disdain in her voice.

Sylvan raised an eyebrow at her. "Hog? What are you even talking about?"

"Don’t play dumb. You wanted that Golden Kitsune for yourself," Drakoon interjected.

"You’re the one who’s dumb," Sylvan retorted, crossing his arms and lifting his head defiantly. "I just want to see the Yokais, and the Kitsune is part of the Yokai world. Who told you that I wanted the Kitsune for myself?"

Ignis, Luna, and Drakoon exchanged baffled glances, their eyes widening in disbelief. "Huh?! See them?! Are you insane?!"

Sylvan sighed, as if addressing a group of naive children even though he was the kid. "I’m not like you bunch of greedy fools who want everything you see, even using force. Unlike you, I have finesse and passion."

"You an simping," Victor muttered under his breath.

Ignoring Victor’s remark, Sylvan extended his hand and declared firmly, "I won’t let you pass here and hurt the Yokais. You have greatly angered by raising your hands against these defenseless creatures."

"They’re not exactly defenseless," Xin muttered, his words barely audible.

Nightshade narrowed his eyes at Sylvan. "We have already reached this far and it’s too late to turn back after coming this way. Are you sure you want to stand in the way of Doombringers?"
