Chapter 81: Demonic Sword – Hers’ Curse
Fike found that the Sword Qi created by this longsword was completely different from anything he had seen before.
Its effects were strange; it would form a grid in the air before continuously slashing within that grid.
With his exceptional insight, Fike had noticed that with just that slight wave of his hand, the Sword Qi had actually slashed nine tis in a row.
It was clear that if this Sword Qi was to be directed at an enemy’s body, it would continuously cause terrifying damage to the target in wake of its swing.
‘Incredible… It really is an incredible sword.’
At this mont, the hidden ssage appeared once again.
[Hidden Information: Demonic Sword – Hers’ Curse. A combination of the Eye of the Demon Lord, Demon Prince-tier Essence, and Exotic teorite. A Demon King-tier divine weapon, the Demon King-tier is comparable to a king-tier weapon. If a weapon of equal quality is restrained by its attributes, it will be assimilated by the Demon King-tier effect. Every assimilation greatly increases the power of the Hers’ Curse. Due to the perfect matching of the Exotic teorite and Eye of the Demon Lord, coupled with near-perfect forging craftsmanship, the quality of this demonic sword has been perfectly sublimated. All weapons below king-tier will be intimidated by this sword due to the Eye of the Demon Lord’s ‘Glare’ effect. High leveled weapons will be unable to launch attacks, while low leveled weapons take imdiate irreversible damage!]
“Demonic Sword – Hers’ Curse… So that’s your na?”
Fike mumbled.
“Hers’ Curse? What a domineering na!”
Tegpus proclaid.
“Master, I’ve just carefully examined the quality of this sword. I’ve found that it’s comparable to king-tier equipnt!
“It’s just that this demonic sword was made completely of alien materials, so I can’t easily understand its true quality.”
Hearing Fike’s words, Tegpus was extrely excited.
“If that’s the case, wouldn’t that an that this sword is technically the first king-tier weapon since the primordial era?”
“You could say that.”
Fike replied lightly.
At the mont, Fike had clearly felt a change in his physique as he wielded the blade in his hands. His body and mind had beco much calr, a possible effect of the magic sword.
Looking at the blade in his hands, he muttered to himself.
“Is my first weapon really going to be such a powerful piece of equipnt?”
Tegpus’ voice cut through his thoughts.
“Fike, you should be in the freshn trial tomorrow, right?”
“Yeah?”
“Why don’t we go outside, find so open space. You can try out the sword technique you ntioned. Maybe it will co in handy tomorrow!”
“That’s what I was thinking too.”
Fike agreed with a smile.
Fike and Tegpus soon arrived at an open space just outside the academy.
“Let’s do it here, Fike!”
“Okay!”
Fike pulled the Hers’ Curse out of its scabbard.
The demonic eye on the sword writhed as Fike held it tightly in his grip.
He concentrated his Qi. As he did, he grew keenly aware of the turbulence between heaven and earth. Wind, man, sword, and Qi had rged into one being at this mont.
Seemingly having received so kind of inspiration, the demonic eye suddenly let loose a burst of crimson light.
Fike felt the continuous accumulation of Sword Qi in his hands.
Suddenly, he swung, directing the point of the blade to slash in the direction of the big tree in front of him.
A surge of pure concentrated Sword Qi rushed towards the towering oak.
The mont the energy made contact, they frantically slashed back and forth, causing the tree to sway wildly.
Even as the Sword Qi finally slowed, the air currents around the tree started to beco abnormally rapid.
A white light glowed in the winds, before finally culminating into a powerful explosion.
The big tree had been torn into shreds as thin as the wings of a cicada.
The huge explosion had attracted a number of students as well.
“What’s that sound? Why was there such a loud noise?”
“Hey, where’s the big tree? Why is it gone?”
“Why are there so many small shreds of wood on the ground?”
As the various students were engrossed in their discussion, Fike was elated after seeing the astounding power of the 32 Swords Slash released by the magical demonic sword.
“Not bad,” Tegpus remarked, “Your sword technique is indeed amazing! It looks like even if you don’t end up slaying demons and beasts in the future, you can still be a qualified carpenter! Hahaha!”
Fike laughed along in a relaxed manner, but worry had been starting to grow in his heart over the freshn trial tomorrow.
He wasn’t concerned that it would be difficult for him to take first place. Rather, it was regarding the thod he would use to do so.
Noticing that Fike was in a daze, Tegpus spoke up.
“Are you still worried about tomorrow’s trial? Don’t worry. You won’t have any problems!”
Fike smiled in response.
“Master, I’m not worried about getting first place.
“I’m just worried about how I should do it.”
“Will you use long-range spells tomorrow? Or this sword technique?”
Fike pondered.
“I may not use long-range spells. I don’t think I have enough control over them, at least not as well as Maggie.
“So I might be using this sword to fight tomorrow!”
Fike bead with a confident smile.
“Moreover, the deflection effect of this blade should allow to win without any bloodshed.”
Tegpus questioned doubtfully.
“Deflection effect?”
“Yes, master, have you forgotten? Your broken equipnt in the workshop!”
Tegpus slapped his hands together.
“Oh, I rember now. So that’s what it was! I was wondering why such a strange thing was happening.
“Can you tell more about the effects of the sword?”
Fike relayed to him everything he had seen in the hidden ssage.
Tegpus listened in awe.
“I didn’t expect this magic sword to have so many effects.
“Sure enough, king-tiers are really on a different level.”
Tegpus continued.
“As I was forging that blade, I kept getting a strange feeling.
“Especially from that demonic eye… I’m sure those additional skills are related to it!”
Hearing Tegpus’ intuition, Fike agreed.
“That’s right, this eye is the core of the mystery surrounding this demonic weapon!”
As they finished their round of discussion, the sky had gradually darkened.
“It’s getting late, Fike! Just keep in mind that if you use the magic sword tomorrow, I think your little friends from the Spell School may have to deal with a lot of criticism!”
“It’s alright, I’ve already thought of a way to deal with that! Don’t worry, Master.”
Fike said in a casual tone.
Seeing him so calm, Tegpus didn’t question him any further.
“I wish you a great victory tomorrow!”
