Explaining Dungeons
As John was being led through the forest by the three bandits, they continued to chat unaware that the bear they captured could understand everything they said.
"I hope they managed to kill so deer today, I want venison tonight." Hedgal said.
"Agreed it's been a while since we got a treat like that." Gujjab said as his mouth watered a little.
"I expect it will be the case, the boss has been yelling for days for us to capture and kill so deer so she could eat venison." Folwin stated.
There was silence for a mont before Gujjab asked.
"What's the likelihood of the boss letting us pit this bear against one of her tigers?"
"About zero." Folwin stated before continuing.
"You know the boss; she loves tiger's more than anything and will do anything to capture or steal them and make them her pets."
"Yup she has quite the number now even if they are all wearing the collars against their will." Hedgal added
"I know that, but don't you think it would be an interesting match?" Gujjab moaned.
"Don't get your hopes up Gujjab, there is no chance the boss would allow that and even less chance with her precious white tiger."
"Ohhh I am still hoping for the day we get to see that white tiger fight." Gujjab said happily.
"Never going to happen." Hedgal said before they continued walking in silence.
While they progressed, John received a ssage from Silver Oracle.
It was lucky that you could reply to ssages by thinking otherwise it would be a bit awkward responding to a ssage in front of his captures by speaking or using the virtual keyboard.
John sniggered at the thought of what faces the three would make if they saw him typing in midair since no one can see your virtual keyboard unless you allow it.
"Did the bear just snigger?" Gujjab asked suspiciously.
"When have you ever heard a bear snigger? You are imagining things." Hedgal retorted.
[Silver Oracle: Are you going to log off soon? My aunt wants to do a check-up on your access band and also on the level of your poison.]
[Silver Oracle: Also, I still need to discuss sothing with you.]
[Vincarna: I will be soon, I'm just a bit tied up at the mont.]
[Silver Oracle: Sothing you need help with?]
[Vincarna: No just a group of bandits have put a collar on and are taking back to their hideout.]
[Silver Oracle: What? Why did you let that happen, a slave collar is no laughing matter even for players.]
[Vincarna: Slave collar? That's a thing?]
[Silver Oracle: Wait it's not a slave collar then what is it?]
[Vincarna: A Collar of Weakness: Tiger.]
[Silver Oracle: Why did they put one of those on a human?]
[Vincarna: They didn't. they put it on a bear.]
[Silver Oracle: Co again?]
[Vincarna: Well, I was in my bear form when they found , and I let them capture .]
[Silver Oracle: Why would you do that?]
[Vincarna: For a quest, I need to get 10 bandit insignias, so I'm letting them take back to their hideout.]
[Silver Oracle: Oh, that quest, yeah, it's a standard hunt down the bandit's quest you get fairly often at different quest ranks, however I have never heard of a bandit hideout at your level.]
[Vincarna: There level 15 and apparently their bandit group is called The White Tiger's]
[Silver Oracle: Hmm this could be…]
[Vincarna: Be what?]
[Silver Oracle: It could be a dungeon.]
[Vincarna: Really? Is there a dungeon full of bandits?]
[Silver Oracle: Not in the lower levels around areas around Thathalas, which is strange.]
[Vincarna: Why?]
[Silver Oracle: In Genesis, dungeons around the capital cities of each continent all have similar setups at the lower levels.]
[Silver Oracle: This is so that the players all have the sa chance to get used to different enemy types before the dungeons start becoming more continent specific as the level goes higher.]
[Silver Oracle: A bandit dungeon has already been discovered in three out of five of the major continents with only the southern and our central having not been discovered.]
[Silver Oracle: This could be huge and really great for you.]
[Vincarna: How so?]
[Silver Oracle: Dungeons naturally give out a lot of experience because of the number of enemies you have to kill, then add on the quests you can do each ti you enter they are a great tool for leveling quickly as long as your not over leveled for the dungeon, you just need a stable party.]
[Silver Oracle However being the one to discover a dungeon and complete it first is even better.]
[Silver Oracle: As you know Genesis rewards players who are the first to achieve sothing, the first person or party to battle a dungeon get double experience for every enemy they kill and quest they complete.]
[Silver Oracle: Not only that but there is a unique quest for each dungeon that can only be completed by one group.]
[Vincarna: Wow that sounds like a way to get a lot of experience fast.]
[Silver Oracle: Indeed, but there are a couple of things to note]
[Silver Oracle: When you first enter the dungeon you will be in a safe zone, and you will be inford how many party mbers you can summon and that once you leave the safe zone the tir will start.]
[Vincarna: Safe zone? Summon? Tir?]
[Silver Oracle: I will explain calm down, the safe zone is a place where you will never be attacked and you can log out of Genesis safely in case you need to, a dungeon can have several depending on its length, however low-level ones like yours normally only have them at the start and before the last boss.]
[Silver Oracle: Summon is when you summon players from your friends list to aid you in the dungeon, there is a summoning stone in the safe zone you can use to summon them, however each dungeons summoning stone has level restrictions on it, if you want to challenge the dungeon when your a higher level you can but you have to get there the old fashioned way and it does not give out exp for enemy kills if your over leveled.]
[Silver Oracle: The tir cos into effect only for the first group to find and challenge the dungeon and starts after you first leave the safe zone, every dungeon is exclusive to those who find it for twenty-four hours or until they clear it, whichever cos first, after which a Genesis Continental Announcent goes out telling the rest of the player base in that continent about the new dungeon, its location and its level requirent.]
[Silver Oracle: The exclusivity is a bonus to those who find it giving them a chance to clear the dungeon first because you get bonus rewards as the first to clear the dungeon]
[Vincarna: Wow sounds like a great way to level up like you said.]
[Silver Oracle….]
[Vincarna: What's wrong?]
[Silver Oracle: Sigh, I always seem to be asking you for favors or help and now I need to ask you for two today]
[Vincarna: So, ask, you have helped out plenty and you should always help your friends if possible.]
[Silver Oracle: You really are a good man, ok first I want to ask that if this is indeed a dungeon, you take two of my friends along with you.]
[Vincarna: Although I can already guess that one will be Ice Blue Queen because she had her rebirth and needs to level back up, what about the other and how do I invite people not on my friends list?]
[Silver Oracle: Your right, the first is indeed Ice Blue Queen as for the other her na is Black Dragoon a Draconian player.]
[Vincarna: Her?]
[Silver Oracle: Wait, do you know her?]
[Vincarna: Yeah, I ca across her when four humans were trying to steal a treasure from her that she won on a roll fair and square.]
[Silver Oracle: Wait, that was you?]
[Vincarna: You know about this?]
[Silver Oracle: Yeah, she ssaged after it happened to say that I was right when I told her about being careful who to trust even here in the central continent.]
[Silver Oracle: This is good, she will be more willing to join if it's you, she has always been wary about strangers because of her special circumstances.]
[Vincarna: How did she end up teaming up with that group then if she is wary of strangers? Also, special circumstances?]
[Silver Oracle: Apparently, she knew she would not be able to handle the boss herself and since their team included Silver Serpents younger sister Silver Death, she figured she could trust them because she thought they would not do anything to harm Silver Serpents already damaged reputation after what happened with Blue Ice Queen.]
[Vincarna: Seems she thought wrong.]
[Silver Queen: Indeed, but we all make mistakes, and she is only eighteen, slightly older than you, as for her special circumstances that's not for to reveal, maybe she will tell you herself in the future.]
[Vincarna: Understood.]
[Silver Oracle: As for adding them to your friends list that's easy, you can search for friends in Genesis by typing their character na into the search bar at the top, that player will then be notified ether in ga or on their access band that soone wants to befriend them and they can accept or decline.]
[Silver Oracle: In the future you can change this like I have to automatically ignore any friend requests sent to you if people start to spam you, in my case I have to send the friend request myself or you can still receive them on your access band if the person sends it to you in person.]
