Li Yao activated Charged Arrow, firing up to the sky, and a shower of arrows shimring with a golden glow fell down.
The damage had increased by almost one-fold. Just from one shower of Arrow
Rain, the dozens of Bulln had been reduced to critically low health, then a Fire Breath from Fire Bird coupled with the Arrow Tower took care of cleaning up the monsters.
“Charged Arrow Rain, skill combo rapid-fire…”
A glimr flashes through Flaming Red Lips’ eyes. In a blink, she teleports into the middle of twenty or so monsters.

The twenty-odd monsters are knocked back. But before the Wild Bulln land, a dragon head made of flas appears above the Werewolves.
The giant dragon head breathes out scorching dragon breath. The Werewolves spin around, a sheet of flas burning everything around them. All twenty-seven Wild Bulln are killed in the fiery dragon breath.
This is another signature spell of a Fire Mage, the Dragon Breath Technique, but its power is amplified when used in conjunction with an explosion spell.
Naiheqiao’s face is ashen. He has given up all hope now. Facing these two freaks, his defeat feels utterly humiliating.
Finally, their stamina is exhausted. The mbers of Naiheqiao’s team respawn next to him. But with the second stage not yet over, they can only watch from the sidelines, waiting to be teleported out once it’s over.
“We were only planning to kill Prairie Fire, this ungrateful bastard. But it seems these vixen can’t be spared either.”
Naiheqiao makes up his mind. After all, he belongs to the Dark Camp and the Werewolves are from the Light Faction. Killing them carries no punishnt, and might even earn him military rits.
anwhile, his teammates are staring intently at the two freaks as they annihilate wave after wave of monsters ceaselessly.
Flaming Red Lips’ area-of-effect damage is second to none, save for Li Yao. With a ten-second interval, she gets enough ti to recover the mana spent, so she doesn’t need to worry about sustainability at all.
The elite of the tenth wave poses no threat to Li Yao at all. But it does give Flaming Red Lips a fair bit of trouble. However, after adjusting against the next two waves of monsters, she gets back into her groove.
That is how it goes. Under the watchful eyes of a small team and a few souls, the duo continuously challenges better waves.
“Your Arrow Rain and your pet’s Fla Feather coverage are good enough. But your pet’s Fire Breath apparently doesn’t cover that many monsters. You’re in trouble. It seems I’m about to win this competition.” Flaming Red Lips refreshes her mana and waits for the arrival of the eighteenth wave of monsters.
She has already figured out. The speed at which the monsters respawn is too fast. Li Yao’s pet can’t use its group attacks altogether. Only one attack can be used per wave to keep it seamless.
“Should I congratulate you now?”
As Li Yao speaks, the monsters have respawned. Tens of monsters, the pet Fire Bird’s Fire Breath indeed can’t cover all of them. Coupled with Arrow Rain, at least one-third of the monsters are left un-killed.
The remaining Wild Bulln, panting heavily, charge towards Li Yao and he again performs a Charged Arrow Scatter Shot.
This is his first use of Scatter Shot. A surge of arrows emitting a yellowish glow shoot out. As many Magic Arrows will be issued as there are monsters within the 120-degree fan-shaped attack range in front of Li Yao.
The Scatter Shot is an instant technique, but its frequency is once per second. However, aided by a Charged Arrow lasting a second longer, the power of Scatter Shot is simply off the charts.

All of the Wild Bulln charging towards Li Yao instantly drop dead.
Li Yao’s speed is still a cut above Flaming Red Lips, but the stalemate continues.
Finally, the twentieth wave of monsters respawn, amongst them a towering Wild Bullman standing at least six to seven yards tall, clutching a massive axe. The axe alone is larger than Li Yao.
Li Yao takes a deep breath. This is the boss he’s been waiting for. Killing this boss will earn him lots of reputation points, and there will be a world announcent, too.
More importantly, only after killing a boss can the final treasure chest possibly produce Gold Equipnt. This could be the first piece of Gold Equipnt in “The Ancient God World”…
