Chapter 515: Chapter 515 Through the Pass

As the boss fell, everyone fell silent. As the boss’s giant body crashed onto the ground, their panels displayed a notification.

The symbol of revival appeared, only then did everyone react. They had truly defeated the second boss.

“Everyone should revive, let’s et up below.” Li Yao lounged on the edge of the platform, looking at the scenery in the distance.

He didn’t expect to defeat the second boss so swiftly. Originally, he planned to try at least ten tis.

After all, the team was ford very recently. To be able to defeat the boss in less than five attempts was nothing short of miraculous.

Even though his damage output was extraordinarily high, it was mainly due to Starfire’s team’s incredible coordination this ti.

If they could maintain this level of performance, they would undoubtedly beco a powerful team with great unity and combat prowess.

Only then did the team mbers let out a cheer of excitent, and the guild channel bustled with activity.

Now, regular players were grinding diligently in search of levels, but the most exciting event was breaking new ground in dungeons.

They strived to reach level 20 to join this Prosperous Era. Even though they may not land a ‘first kill,’ getting good equipnt is the primary goal of anyone who plays gas.

Skills could be improved gradually, and there was no need to rush. However, equipnt could compensate for deficiencies in skill.

Even though the Starfire Guild had been cleaned up several tis, it was inevitable that there were spies within.

With the excitent of the Starfire Guild’s mbers, news of their core team clearing the second boss spread like wind.

In a very short ti, this news was known to everyone.

The average player thought it was quite the show and was impressed with Starfire Guild’s strength, but their interest ended there.

Only the top guilds felt a trendous shock and impact. After all, no one else knew better about the boss’s difficulty after activating the Magic Array.

As ti passed, the top guilds had already begun their attempts at clearing the full version of the first boss.

Without exception, all of the top teams were beaten black and blue by the first boss.

This was still with the knowledge of the boss’s abilities, thanks to Li Yao’s boss skill video. If they were completely in the dark about the boss’s abilities, they would have needed even more ti to study them.

The fact that they still faced heavy losses despite knowing the boss’s abilities proved just how difficult the boss was.

Many top-level players sighed at the difficulty of this dungeon, considering they had all battled bosses without activating the Magic Array mode. Even though they didn’t say it was easy, it didn’t take much effort either.

However, they hadn’t even been able to reduce the first boss’s HP to less than half, and Starfire Guild had already defeated the second boss.

“Damn it, what kind monsters are in the Starfire?” Roo of Devil Alliance said angrily after yet another guild wipe.

“Prairie Fire is indeed extraordinary.” Edward gave a bitter smile, “But don’t be discouraged, considering the difficulty of this dungeon, they may get stuck sowhere.”

“Is that your brother? Take to join Starfire.” Li Yao’s sister’s classmate asked Li Jia.

Now, the topic of Starfire clearing the second boss was being discussed by most players in different ways – in envy, in admiration, or in longing. However, Starfire had once again left an indelible mark in everyone’s hearts.

The Starfire team ignored the discussion outside, urgently gathering at the bottom. Li Yao and the others flew down once their wings were off cooldown.

Soon, they were gathered together.

“Hey, tell us what happened.” All the attention of the team mbers was focused on the centaur at the ti.

They were hoping that the Centaur High Priest would charge off the platform on his own. They were so engrossed in watching the centaur’s actions that they paid no attention to Li Yao.

They trusted Li Yao implicitly and believed he would find a way back to the platform. But to their surprise, in the blink of an eye, not only had he returned to the platform, he managed to knock down the centaur who hadn’t charged off.

Feng Yi shared the video after seeing Li Yao nod. Only then did the guild mbers see what happened.

While the Centaur High Priest was adjusting, Li Yao wasn’t idle either: he used Magic Spider Silk to swing himself back towards the platform. Then, with a Shadow Roll, he was atop the platform. With a backward jump, he landed behind the centaur, dozens of yards away.

“Wow, that reflex speed.”

Others also expressed their admiration. In such a predicant, being able to perform these series of actions was indeed extraordinary.

Shadow Roll and the backward jump, though seemingly simple – just a roll and a jump – required expert precision.

Li Yao was in free fall during the Shadow Roll, causing rapid 365-degree rotation of his body.

If he failed to control the motion, his backward jump could land him far away from the platform, leading to his own doom.

This judgent of timing was truly horrifying.

Besides, just before he landed, a scroll appeared in his hand. The mont he landed, the crossbow appeared firmly in his hand. The aim of his Steel Arrow was tightly fixed on the centaur. As for such accuracy, even top-level players would find it hard to match.

Then as the boss began to turn around, Li Yao fired the crossbow. The imnse force knocked the Centaur High Priest off the platform.

They saw that the Steel Arrow penetrated his chest, but he rely staggered back a few steps. This revealed how weighty he was at that mont. Had the centaur been in his normal state, he would have been sent flying by the formidable force.

“Phew, truly a monster, did you calculate all of that?” the Angel Guardian asked.

Li Yao shook his head and replied, “My original plan was to kite, but unfortunately it didn’t work out. I’d almost given up, but then I noticed an unblocked corridor and tried a new idea. Unfortunately, it too failed. His speed was too fast, and yet he managed to brake in ti. It was quite impressive.”

Unparalleled Enchantress was speechless, “Then you had the lightning-fast idea to use the force of the crossbow to knock him down. In such a short ti, you managed to think and act with such precision. Initially, I didn’t believe it when they said you were a freak, but now I do. Even without your impressive pets, it would be hard for many to match your combat skills and reaction speed.”

Li Yao laughed, “You’re too kind, it was pure luck.”

Li Yao was speaking the truth. After the kiting strategy had failed, he had indeed contemplated giving up. But after spotting the platform, a glimr of hope ignited within him. He thought he could save things, so he tried and succeeded, saving the Starfire Guild a lot of ti in the process.

Li Yao understood very clearly that even though they had passed, if they tried again, there’s no guarantee they wouldn’t be wiped out before the boss reached this phase.

“Alright, enough with the praise. The boss is dead; it’s ti to collect the loot, guys.”…

PS: Seems like there will be five updates tomorrow, the pressure is imnse…
