Li Yao nodded, spread his wings, and flew into the sky to observe the surrounding terrain.
This is a valley with a surprisingly good environnt, filled with ancient and primitive flora and fauna, as if returning to the Ancient Tis.
In the distance, several volcanoes are visible, though they haven’t erupted for a long ti, making it an ideal location for a base. After all, living in lava regions isn’t very comfortable for beings from the main plane.
Having such a vast valley could unquestionably beco the best forward position and stronghold. If all goes well, Li Yao would construct a small city here, turning the valley into a strategic barrier for long-term residence. The continuous stretch of volcanoes almost isolates this area from the world, with gemstones scattered on the ground, unheeded.

Further away, a wide Lava Lake, extrely hot, nearly isolates the world beyond. The other side of the valley is the perilous plane boundary, the Void region, which requires hardly any attention.
Beyond the lake lie endless mountain ranges and several clustered cities. Li Yao saw that the cities were divided into two races: Abyss Demon Snakes and Demons. He even witnessed sporadic battles between the two, seemingly fighting over a mineral resource, their energy source.
Having gained a rough understanding, Li Yao descended, as Starfire’s people also arrived and began to set up camp. With guardian Angels and fruit Knights around, Li Yao need not worry.
“How’s it going, big brother?” Tong Tong asked.
“The place is well-chosen. I’m just curious: does the Abyss dislike greenery or sothing? Why haven’t they occupied this place?” Li Yao said.
The Snake Woman bowed and said, “We naturally like greenery; who would want to face lava otherwise? However, only nobles and royals have their green valleys. As for ordinary abyssal races, they naturally do not enjoy such privileges. To change the environnt here, one needs to consider climate and requires life gemstones and crystals. Although the Abyss lacks no magical crystals or gemstones, life crystals and gems are in short supply. The royals and nobles never have enough.”
Li Yao suddenly understood, saying: “That’s a coincidence. On the main plane, life crystals aren’t scarce; moreover, we have the Mother Tree. By linking the Mother’s Tree’s tendrils here, guiding the life force of dreams to this place, nothing will be lacking.”

“The two races have stationed about ten million each. The Demons and Serpents are fierce races that take turns clearing summoned Elental Beings and collecting minerals, but nearby planes may support them anyti with possibly larger armies. Master, do not underestimate as the two races have deployed forces across many abyssal planes, with an overwhelming troop count. I don’t even know the exact numbers,” the Snake Woman said worriedly.
“Don’t worry; I’m here to quietly make a fortune, not to dominate the Abyss. Besides, my army will only grow larger.” Li Yao nodded, then looked at the two returning Dragon Queens: “What do you think?”
“Like a fish in water, it’s as if I’ve returned ho,” the Black Dragon Queen comnted. “I’m tempted to compete with my sister, but she won’t agree.”
Li Yao nodded, understanding that the world’s primary power is Earth Power, naturally favored by a black dragon, especially a Dragon Queen.
The Blue Dragon Queen pouted: “If you dare, let’s compete in the Ice Abyss or a water plane.”
“Alright, you two can argue in your free ti. Let’s discuss business first. Do you think you can turn this valley into a fortress without damaging the inner environnt?” Li Yao asked.
The two pondered for a while. The Blue Dragon Queen said: “We just surveyed the area. There’s no shortage of Magic Gemstones and Crystals here. I can set up a Defense Array to cover the valley, and use powerful gems to communicate with the Magic Network Node, enhancing the defensive strength. Master, if you have specific requirents in this area, please let know. Terrain modification isn’t my specialty.”
