Dalkhan harbored deep resentnt toward the High Elves. Such a dark-hearted and extrely selfish man, he betrayed his entire race for his own delusions, leading the High Elves to pay a trendous price.
The High Elves hated the Scourge Legion, but if they had to find an even more detested target, it would be Dalkhan.
"Just for these absurd reasons, you betrayed the kingdom, betrayed your entire race. Look at what used to be a prosperous and beautiful land, now turned to scorched earth, with over sixty percent of the population perished. Dalkhan, you could die a thousand, ten thousand tis and still not atone for your sins," Morning Wind reprimanded.
The other High Elves were equally consud by rage. This battle didn’t require Li Yao to stir any morale since all the Withered Sun Legion soldiers seed to burn with fury, unable to vent their anger even if they were to scorch the Seven Seas.
"It’s the kingdom that owes ; it’s the kingdom that owes . If I can’t have it, no one else should," Dalkhan shouted hysterically.
Morning Wind chuckled coldly, "You said you wanted to beco a council mber, yet you didn’t know that you were already on the candidate list. The reason it’s postponed is to avoid interrupting your cultivation. Your talent would take you to greater achievents. Did you know the Grand Magician treated you as his successor for training?"
"You said you wanted to go to war. Didn’t the kingdom give you a chance? You led an army against the Trolls, a clear victory. But because of your greed and recklessness, ignoring Lyadrin and Lor’themar’s warnings, you acted alone, costing fifty thousand of the Kingdom’s Ace Elites. You aren’t suited for war. Did the kingdom condemn you? Only because your talent was unparalleled."
"You said you were captured, and the kingdom didn’t save you. That’s utterly ridiculous. Originally, the kingdom had the opportunity to conquer the Troll capital and expel the Trolls from the kingdom. But to rescue you and the captured tribesn, the kingdom signed a secret agreent with Troll leader Zul’jin, forbidding attacks on the Troll capital for ten years. Otherwise, how could that handful of you escape from the heavily guarded Troll capital?"
"You said the kingdom favored Lor’themar, and you looked down on the Ranger General. Has the Ranger General ever taken issue with you? You were an orphan, raised by the kingdom to give you the best opportunity to learn magic, with the hope of you becoming the empire’s future magical pillar. This is why your many errors have gone unpunished. You laughably assud the kingdom’s tolerance. You are nothing but an extrely selfish, worthless scoundrel."
Morning Wind rcilessly brought up various old grievances, each causing Dalkhan to retreat several steps, ultimately stumbling.
"No, no, you lie. How could those old folks be so kind? Why should they? I am the future of the High Elves, I am," Dalkhan raved crazily.
Li Yao shook his head slightly, "You’re beyond saving. You speak of yourself, but look at who you’ve beco. You think you’re better than Lor’themar, yet Lor’themar has beco the kingdom’s Regent. You scorn Lyadrin, yet she has now beco the kingdom’s pillar, having established the Kingdom’s Paladin Legion."
"And where do you co from, daring to snatch at high rank? Do you even have the right to speak so boldly?" Dalkhan scoffed at Li Yao.
"? I’m just the successor to that Ranger General you looked down upon," Li Yao laughed. "Also becoming an Undead, one sold his country and race, while the other died defending his country. Both are Undead now, but my ntor has beco the Undead Queen, and founded a race comparable to the Elf Kingdom. As for you, prostrated before the Lich King, you’ve only claid a tiny piece of land like Daisom. Don’t even bother comparing yourself to them; doing so insults them. And as for , successor to the Ranger General, I beca one of the five Legion leaders of the kingdom. So tell , what do you have that can compare to the people you originally scorned?"
"Youngster, you’re courting death," Dalkhan was losing his mind. He always considered himself second only to heaven, and for years he had deluded himself in dreams of yore. Now, with Morning Wind and Li Yao ruthlessly exposing him, he couldn’t accept it.
Dalkhan was truly going mad, "Even a youngster like you dares to belittle . Do you dare to face ? I want to see how much of your teacher’s skills you’ve learned. A re race-level daring to challenge soone like , of world-level strength."
"Pfft, you barely beca world-level by turning into an undead and absorbing plague power, and you brag about yourself. Have you been living in a dream? Look closely; my ntor and Lor’themar are leaders above interdiate world-level. Even compared to , you fall short."
Li Yao crossed his hands, his wings flashed, and he flew, walking slowly towards the city wall using "Lotus Steps in the Air."
Then his figure flickered back to the ground, arms crossed contemptuously looking at Dalkhan.
"Youngster, let teach you what true strength is," Dalkhan’s figure beca transparent.
His figure flickered unpredictably, teleporting a certain distance each ti, quickly closing in to within a hundred yards of Li Yao.
"Youngster, you dared to walk into my casting range, showing such arrogance. Are you tired of living?" Dalkhan’s Soul Fire boiled and burned, his palm clenched in the air.
Li Yao whistled, and a regal and seductive noblewoman stood in front of him, mirroring his posture, with a hand clenched in the air.
Two sparks flashed, followed by a massive fla explosion detonating in the space between them.
"You think you can spar with my master? Try getting past first," the Black Dragon Queen said, waving her Magic Wand, summoning countless fireballs revolving around her body. They stord toward Dalkhan like raindrops, "Returning lack of courtesy, try my Spell."
As countless fireballs rained down on Dalkhan, he screeched, his body flashing brightly, clearly having invoked so kind of buff, which led to him summoning an equal number of fireballs.
No need for clashes; just seeing the number and size of his summoned fireballs proved he’s far from the Black Dragon Queen’s league.
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom...
As fireballs clashed continuously, countless flas erupted, revealing the Black Dragon Queen’s fireballs drawing closer to Dalkhan.
Panic-stricken, he abandoned controlling his fireballs, casting a Shield upon himself directly.
Boom!
Under the barrage of fireball impacts, a massive crater ford around Dalkhan, followed by a skyward volcanic eruption.
Amidst the blazing lava sprays, Dalkhan’s Ice Barrier was launched into the sky...
