Chapter 1612: Chapter 1612: Valkyrie Wing

The Valkyrie is a key mber of the Guardian Organization.

The Titans sealed the Ancient God and completely remodeled this world. To ensure the world developed according to their vision and to nurture the Star Soul of this planet to give birth to a powerful Titan, they established the Guardians.

Among the Guardians, one individual used their own ans and strength to conquer the others, crowning themselves as the Divine King.

The Divine King established the Hall of Valor, a place similar to paradise. It is a small Void Space.

The most important force under the Divine King’s command is the Vrykul. The Vrykul are massive in stature and excel in combat, even after death.

Indeed, the powerful male Vrykul, upon death, have their heroic spirits transford into powerful spiritual warriors.

As for the strong female Vrykul, their souls take on one of two forms after death: one of them being the Golden Valgari.

Most of the Valgari who serve the queen are originally from the Hall of Valor but were transford into Death Valgari.

The other form is similar to the spiritual warriors—the Valkyrie.

The Valkyrie are also the earliest construct warriors. With their powerful constructs, the Valkyrie make up the strongest battle legion of the Hall of Valor.

Their constructs conceal the Valkyrie’s spiritual state, allowing them to appear strikingly real and embodying a fusion of armor and chanical traits.

The key aspect is that they are an excellent fit for Li Yao, and that is the most crucial thing.

This single component alone had taken Li Yao nearly an entire day. Staring at himself in the mirror, Li Yao gave a faint smile.

The previously gray, angelic wings of the Dark Touch had undergone a complete transformation, turning into a tallic spiked Shoulder Armor.

Intricate runes covered both the Shoulder Armor and the tal spikes, with dim glows flowing across the surface of the armor.

Although its appearance wasn’t as grandiose as the dominant aesthetic of the Falling Star set, it conveyed a reserved brilliance, leaning towards a common and understated style.

Li Yao was fairly satisfied. He wasn’t interested in elaborate or flashy designs. In fact, if it weren’t for the unavoidable spikes and runes, he wouldn’t even have them. A plain shoulder armor would have sufficed in his mind.

Li Yao smiled faintly and activated his wings. A massive set of dark purple tallic wings unfurled abruptly. The lifelike details and tallic texture radiated a magnificent splendor.

Clink, clink, clink…

The wings flapped, propelling countless dark purple Feathers that shot through the air like Arrows, embedding themselves into the walls of Li Yao’s laboratory. It’s worth noting that these walls had been magically reinforced by high elves to be incredibly durable, yet under the Feathers’ assault, they appeared as fragile as ordinary walls.

**Valkyrie Wing**

**Quality**: Legendary Construct

**Flight Speed Bonus**: 560% (requires Flying Riding Technique, currently limited to brief flight or gliding)

**Agility**: 25%

**Strength**: 20%

**Montary Splendor**: The Feathers on the wings bloom like the epheral Tan Hua, releasing them as lethal arrows. Feathers regenerate at a rate of five feathers every three seconds.

**Way of Offense and Defense**: The edges of the wings are akin to divine blade swords, enhanced by structural runes. When deployed, they function like weapons in combat, and when folded, they form a cocoon-like defense to shield the wearer.

**Whirlwind Charge**: The wings can be flapped powerfully to create a Whirlwind Assault at a target up to 25 yards away, inflicting stagger and stun effects. Each use consus three Feathers.

**Worn By**: Prairie Fire

Li Yao retracted the wings, exceedingly pleased. The performance exceeded his expectations by far.

First, the flight bonus of 560% was unparalleled. Even the best purple-tier combat Flying Mounts available for purchase officially only offered a maximum of a 320% speed bonus.

Typically, after reaching the level cap, even with mastered Flying Riding Technique, most purchased Flying Mounts offer only a 120% speed bonus, which isn’t even faster than quality ground mounts.

To achieve higher speed, one must seek out superior mounts themselves.

Of course, the distinction between flying and non-flying is significant. Having the ability to fly opens up previously inaccessible areas and unlocks many sealed-off maps.

Speaking of which, the Black Dragon Queen remains the pinnacle of Flying Mounts, but having the ability to fly independently is also very important. These wings essentially served as his own personal Flying Mount.

Next ca the bonuses to agility and strength—attributes that Li Yao valued most.

His agility had hit a bottleneck, so the 25% boost gave him hope of achieving six Arrows per second. He only needed about a 15% further increase in agility to reach this milestone. Furthermore, the agility boost significantly enhanced his maneuverability in combat.

The strength increase was self-explanatory—no one ever complained about having too much strength. Without activating the Dragon Father’s Power, Li Yao could already overpower an adult Mountain Giant. Not to ntion, players using transformations into juvenile Mountain Giants posed no challenge to him now.

As the leading General of the campaign against Daisom, Li Yao initially had so concerns. While it appeared he was leading, in the war mode of the Ancient God World, being a “General” ant more than authority—it ant facing the most formidable enemies directly.

Just like the last major battle, where the Demon Marshal was handled by high-ranking leaders across various factions.

This ti, Li Yao had to bear the brunt. Especially since he had recently been elevated to Commander of the Withered Sun Legion, it was a critical mont to establish his authority.

In the Ancient God World, strength reigns supre. If Li Yao demonstrated weakness, even if his position as Legion Commander wasn’t threatened, his subordinates’ lack of respect and distrust could drastically impact his leadership.

With his offensive capabilities now sufficient, the added boost to agility and strength gave him new confidence. After all, his foe this ti was a formidable monster. He could not afford to be careless, which explained his rush to elevate his power.

Additionally, the additional effects brought a small surprise to Li Yao. They weren’t ga-breaking but were highly practical and would remain relevant over ti.

Montary Splendor provided a ranged attack capability. The wings contained a total of 1,080 Feathers, each ticulously crafted by Li Yao. At mid-to-close range, these Feathers packed a punch comparable to his Arrows.

The Feathers could be launched one at a ti or unleashed all at once like the effect’s na suggests—an explosion of Montary Splendor, where over a thousand Feathers shot out simultaneously like a blooming Tan Hua. It was a devastating area-of-effect skill, perfect for annihilation.

The Way of Offense and Defense essentially gave him two additional lee weapons. Li Yao even designed the wings to equip the Scythe of Death, turning them into deadly tools in combat.

On the defensive side, the wings could cocoon him, providing a shield-like defense. While not as powerful as invulnerability skills, the flexibility they offered was invaluable. Acting like two massive Shields that didn’t occupy his hands, they not only maintained agility but added diversity to his combat style, achieving true versatility in both offense and defense.

Lastly, the Whirlwind Charge was excellent as a skill, granting him a displacent ability more effective than the warrior’s charge. Its extended range surpassed the latter by multiple folds. The key point was that if Feathers were abundant, the ability could be used consecutively.

Depending on the situation, it could be used for pursuing enemies, engaging in combat, or retreating—it was extrely practical.

After experinting and familiarizing himself with the wings’ various functionalities, Li Yao directed his focus toward crafting the Magic Armor…
