Chapter 1555: Chapter 1555: Instant Kill

Ding…

Without a doubt, this Dwarven General was incredibly strong, his greatsword precisely intercepting the incoming arrow.

As a faction-level leader, he possessed more than enough power and reflexes to make the most optimal decisions. What would be a fatal arrow to others was sothing he could intercept.

However, while he anticipated everything, he failed to account for the force behind this arrow.

The mont of impact caused the Dwarven General’s expression to twist wildly. No matter how he thought about it, he couldn’t fathom why this arrow contained such overwhelming power.

As a descendant of the Earth Spirits, his strength was undoubtedly exceptional. That he could beco a faction-level powerhouse was primarily due to the inherited bloodline strength that set him apart, even among Dwarves renowned for their might. He was famously known as a power kingpin.

Yet, in the face of this arrow, he felt utterly insignificant.

The upward force was so imnse that his wrists tingled from the vibration. His greatsword nearly flew out of his hand.

But after all, he was a faction-level leader. Using the recoil’s energy, his body twisted sharply, accompanied by a shrill whistle as the arrow grazed past his helt.

Though the arrow didn’t directly touch the helt, the airflow generated by the arrow scraping against it created dazzling sparks, leaving the Dwarven General’s head feeling a searing heat.

Thud…

The Dwarven General managed to evade, but the soldiers behind him weren’t so lucky. The arrow struck one square in the chest.

The arrow, a spiraled armor-piercing projectile, spun wildly like a drill, tearing through the thick plate armor of the general’s elite guard, piercing straight through. The guard let out a wretched scream before plumting down.

The arrow’s montum continued, smashing through five or six soldiers clad in heavy armor before finally dissipating its force.

“Kill, kill, kill!”

The first arrow wasn’t the end; it was just the beginning. As Li Yao released the first arrow, the second, third, fourth, and fifth arrows followed in swift succession.

“Dreamless Echo!”

The subsequent arrows were imbued by the Green Dragon Princess with the Power of Dream. This enhancent wasn’t for welco; instead, it augnted the arrows’ lethality, concealing them within the Dream Plane.

Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud…

Because the Dwarven General’s greatsword had been knocked off balance when blocking the first arrow, and his head had to tilt to evade it, he failed to react in ti to the second onslaught.

The subsequent arrows ca storming in.

The second arrow, infused with the protective power of the dream, struck directly against the thick plate armor around the Dwarven General’s neck.

Encased entirely in heavy armor, the Dwarven General’s only exposed area was his eyes, leaving no apparent vulnerabilities unprotected.

Had it been just Li Yao alone, not even using armor-piercing arrows could breach the armor of a faction-level leader.

But now was different. Li Yao’s stats were first enhanced by faction bonuses, and his rank itself rose by two minor levels.

On top of that, he used the Power of the Dragonfather, and more critically, he had the Green Dragon Princess’ added empowering force.

The arrows’ power at this mont far exceeded Li Yao’s usual limits.

The arrow pierced through the armor almost effortlessly, penetrating deep before erging on the other side.

Then the remaining arrows followed in rapid succession, streaking across the air. Under the disbelieving gazes of onlookers, the head of the faction-level Dwarven General, Uldaman, was sent flying.

Monts ago, this overbearing, player-slaughtering powerhouse of a leader was instantly killed, leaving everyone who witnessed the scene in utter disbelief.

“All who block shall die!”

Li Yao’s words caused everyone’s faces along the Dragon Legion’s march route to pale in fear. Yet many, realizing the Dwarven General’s body was a faction-level leader’s corpse—sure to yield valuable loot—rushed towards it instead.

A large number of players, rather than scattering, lunged toward the flying mount where the Dwarven General’s body lay, while his elite guards scrambled in an attempt to recover his remains for a proper burial.

“Courting death, are you? Ignore them. Crush them all for ,”

Li Yao’s eyes flickered with a trace of cold indifference. He had been looking for a reason to kill them; now that they ca of their own accord, he wouldn’t hesitate.

“Princess, assist . Splitting Arrow.”

Li Yao’s Star Bow opened and closed continuously as arrow after arrow shot forth, splitting mid-flight into countless fragnts of starlight resembling rushing, icy constellations.

“Thousand Threads!”

With the Green Dragon Princess’ spell, each fragnt of starlight further broke into over ten green specks of light, instantly multiplying the number of Splitting Arrows tenfold.

The arrows cascaded like an infinite river of stars, overwhelming everything in their path.

Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud…

With Li Yao’s current stats, even a faction-level leader carelessly hit in a vital spot would be slain instantly, let alone players or soldiers.

The players attempting to block Starfire to buy their teammates ti to loot the body were imdiately pierced by countless freezing starlights, dropping like dumplings into the battlefield below.

“Prairie Fire, you’re too ruthless! We’re allies, and yet you dare to attack us so viciously—you deserve to die!”

Several players riding Wyverns charged at Li Yao from the flanks, but he paid them no attention at all.

“Hmph, overestimating yourselves.”

The Green Dragon Princess accelerated abruptly, slamming straight into the Wyverns.

Crack, crack, crack…

A layer of green light shimred across the Green Dragon Princess’ body as she shot forward. The Wyverns twisted into grotesque shapes from the impact before plumting to their deaths.

The Green Dragon Princess didn’t even bother attacking them; the sheer force of her speed-induced collision broke their bones and killed both the Wyverns and their riders. Out of all of them, only one managed to Blink to safety, while the others were crushed to death without any chance of survival.

The players finally comprehended the terror of dragons, particularly the Green Dragon Princess, who was no ordinary dragon.

Among all the Dragon King’s Princes and Princesses, the Green Dragon Princess’ combat prowess ranked in the top three, second only to the Dragon King’s consorts.

While Wyverns were formidable in their own right as a lesser dragon species, they were still no match for true dragons.

Whoosh!

The Green Dragon Princess’ speed was overwhelmingly fast. She and Li Yao had already distanced themselves from the main force, reaching the flying mount carrying the Dwarven General’s body.

The mount was attempting to retreat deeper into friendly territory, intending to deliver its master’s remains back to the city.

But the Green Dragon Princess was too fast. The mount let out an enraged roar, its body twisting mid-air to shake off the dozens of players besieging it. The players were flung aside, their bodies snapping with the sound of breaking bones, spraying the air with blood.

The mount turned around, opening its jaws to unleash a Dragon Breath at the Green Dragon Princess.

“A parlor trick.”

The Green Dragon Princess unleashed her own Dragon Breath in response. Her attack, imbued with protective energy and the power of magma, collided with the red Dragon Breath.

The green Dragon Breath overwheld the red, completely suppressing it before engulfing the mount entirely…
