The Defense Officer said with a smile, “Although you are alone, you still make feel threatened. I don’t know what threat a single person like you could pose, but I have a habit of nipping threats in the bud.”
Mrs. Smith also said, “I share the sa habit with the Defense Officer. The Starfire Legion is strong. If we were to encounter your entire legion at this stage, I might choose to hold back. The two exchanged glances and sneered coldly, clearly not considering each other significant. In their view, any card they played could crush the opponent, and they had a foolproof strategy to ensure their safe departure.
Li Yao was speechless for a mont before saying, “I originally thought my plan was too ambitious and unlikely to happen, but it turns out you really tead up, which saves a lot of trouble. Might as well settle this altogether.”
“Your joke isn’t funny at all. From what you say, it seems like you set a trap waiting for us to fall into,” Mrs. Smith sneered, “You are very strong. In a one-on-one fight, I might not be your match, but how big is the real difference? In this situation, I have a large army, and you are alone. Even if you set a trap, now that we are united, what can you do?”
Li Yao didn’t care at all and shook his head slightly, “Actually, my initial goal was very simple, just like destroying another training ground, to break this training ground as well, speeding up progress. And to let you fight amongst yourselves, why not take advantage of it?”
The Defense Officer blocked Mrs. Smith, who wanted to attack, and asked with interest, “So is that your only goal? Or do you have any other sches?”

“Hahaha, that’s really arrogant. I must say you have guts and ideas, but this is just daydreaming,” the Defense Officer said proudly, lifting his hand cannon, “But there’s one thing I like about you, that you have a good eye and know the power of this weapon. Too bad, really too bad.”
Mrs. Smith sneered, “Enough has been said, there’s no need to listen to his nonsense anymore, shall we take action now?”
“He’s surrounded by heavy forces, including your air force and warfare weapons. He can’t escape even if he had wings. Why the rush? But since you’re in such a hurry, then let’s finish him,” the Defense Officer said to Li Yao, “It’s a pity we won’t see your real skills. Farewell.”
“Why wouldn’t you see them, you can see them now,” Li Yao, seeing Mrs. Smith about to give the order, spoke indifferently, “You’re too impatient. Don’t you want to know why I’m still so confident now?”
“Who knows if you’re just bluffing to buy ti,” Mrs. Smith sneered.

Mrs. Smith froze for a mont, then laughed, “Fine, tell us about your tactics then. It’s just buying explosives, but you didn’t have the ti to throw or plant explosives.”
“You’re smart to know my tactics,” Li Yao also laughed cheerfully, “But who told you I had no ti to plant explosives? How do you know there aren’t explosives under your feet?”
“That’s not funny at all,” Mrs. Smith’s expression changed.
Li Yao took out a detonator and said calmly, “I’m not joking with you. I attacked five ammunition depots, which the Defense Officer knows about, right? So, can the Defense Officer inform them about the amount of these explosives?”
The Defense Officer felt uneasy, “Enough to blow up one and a half training grounds.”
“Right, these are high-explosive black powders, and they have been mixed with the pulverized scales of a Dragon Beast, doubling the explosive power. Truly excellent stuff,” Li Yao said.
“Just say what you want, stop beating around the bush, or you’ll be shot to pieces imdiately,” Mrs. Smith felt a bad premonition rise within her.
“It’s simple, who told you I was the first one to reach the Shadow Tide? After I got the explosives, the first one who ca was the Star of Annihilation. Don’t forget, I have Tunneling Bugs. However, the ground here is really tough, it cost quite a few bugs to accomplish my goal and plant the explosives in the right spots. Then I didn’t set them off but went to the Shadow Tide instead.”
“My original plan was simple, but then I hoped that the Defense Officer would step into this area too, and unexpectedly, my wish ca true.”
“Damn it, kill him.”
Mrs. Smith’s entire body bristled, and she swore outright.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh…
A massive flood of Arrows overwheld the area where Li Yao was, tearing his figure into countless pieces.
“Sorry, but while I was talking nonsense, I had already launched my secret technique; that was just my clone.”
Li Yao’s voice ca from not far behind the Defense Officer, the crowd who hadn’t yet relaxed heard this as if thunder had struck.
Everyone’s faces changed dramatically; they hadn’t forgotten that Li Yao ntioned he had buried explosives underground here. Seeing that Li Yao wasn’t dead, and seeing the detonator in his hand…
“Everybody down.”
“Everybody down.”
The Defense Officer and Mrs. Smith both roared simultaneously, countless soldiers collapsed in a rush, covering their heads with their hands.
So were so close to each other they pressed against one another, creating utter chaos.
However, after a while, the explosion hadn’t happened. People close to Li Yao looked at him doubtfully, but he was still standing there, smiling as usual.
“Damn, we’ve been tricked, kill him!” The Defense Officer was furious, standing up at once as his two Hand Cannons began to rge, his eyes filled with sha and ferocity, furious at being played.
“Such tactics from the grand Starfire Prairie Fire, then don’t bla us for the siege, overwhelm him,” Mrs. Smith also looked quite embarrassed, lying on the ground was indeed unseemly.
anwhile, the audience was all typing ‘6666666’, they too thought Li Yao was joking because they just saw him getting explosives and starting to count stars sowhere, where would he have ti to bury explosives?
They didn’t expect that when Li Yao faced a dead-end, he still played everyone for a fool, assuming that he knew he couldn’t escape and just wanted to pull one over on everyone to salvage so pride.
And that makes sense, after all, he hasn’t been killed yet, now that he can’t escape, even if he dies, he should die with so dignity, right?
His few words tricked tens of thousands of people into lying down, throwing the military formation into chaos, which was pretty aweso.
