Kate was astonished for a mont when Lei Zhen calmly returned her sword and acted as if nothing had happened.
His thod of teaching Prince Leon was unexpected and she didn't know there was such a sadistic side in Lei Zhen.
Nevertheless, she didn't disagree with his action and smiled briefly.
"You're right, Chancellor. Father would have been displeased if he slled sothing foul upon my return." She said, ignoring the grievance looking of Prince Leon had and continued to walk forward.
During this ti, Griselda remained silent and could care less about Prince Leon's treatnt. As for Prince Carter, he kept quiet the whole ti, rely showing a pitiful expression at Prince Leon and shaking his head.
'Curse this damn chancellor. Don't you let have a chance of catching you?' Prince Leon vowed in his heart as he glared at Lei Zhen.
Soti later, the four of them finally arrived at the center and awaited a servant to inform King Francis Norton about their arrival.
"Princess Kate, King Francis Norton is eagerly waiting for you inside." A servant ca out, his face full of smiles as he announced Kate to hurriedly enter.
Kate nodded her head.
"Let's go!" She said excitedly and rushed inside.
By the ti she entered, she saw her beloved father and hurriedly ran toward him, hugging him in joy.
"Father, I've returned."
"Hahaha, good! My lovely daughter has returned to at long last." Francis Norton laughed heartily and embraced Kate dearly.
The war might not have been too long, but it was definitely long enough to make them worry for each other.
Therefore, Lei Zhen and the others remained quiet and allowed them to enjoy their reunion.
Their reunion lasted for a few minutes before Kate wiped off so of her tears of joy. Her father was not hard in the slightest and she could finally lift off the big weight on her shoulder.
After all, she had been worried about her father's safety all this ti, and now that she confird that her father was healthy, everything was well.
"Father, let introduce you." Kate quickly rembered sothing and went back to Lei Zhen.
"This person is my chancellor and he's the reason why I'm able to make it back here." She introduced him, but her smile was a bit sneaky.
'This Kate… she is really sinister and becoming more like .' Lei Zhen twitched his mouth.
Others might not know, but he definitely knew Kate deliberately introduced him as a chancellor, equivalent to forcing this position down his throat.
How devious could she be?
Alas, he could only grit his teeth and bowed slightly.
"Chancellor greets his majesty." Lei Zhen said, not planning on revealing his na in public. There was still Griselda present on the scene alongside the two princes, so he wouldn't give his na out too easily.
Francis Norton didn't seem to mind his cautiousness and nodded his head. He had been briefed by Robert Knightman before, so his identity was technically known to him.
'Robert told this kid is a cautious one and I can tell when he insists on wearing a mask.' Francis Norton thought.
Despite the law being illegal for one to wear a mask in the royal palace since one's identity must be revealed, he and Yors Castle were indebted to him. Therefore, such trivial thods could be forgiven.
However, he wasn't as forgiving when he turned his face toward the two princes, who quickly went to their knees.
"Hmph, what do the two of you have to say for yourself?" Francis Norton shouted and slamd his palm at the throne's armrest.

Before Prince Leon could speak, Francis Norton suddenly realized Prince Leon's mouth was bleeding.
"What happened to your mouth?" Francis Norton asked in confusion.
Thinking that this was a good opportunity to ruin Lei Zhen, Prince Leon smirked secretly and quickly pointed his finger at him."It was him, father. This bastard used a sword hilt to smack my mouth into bleeding."
"Oh, I see…" Francis Norton nodded his head and turned toward Lei Zhen.
Prince Leon was laughing on the inside when he saw his father staring at Lei Zhen. 'That's right, bitch. Dare to strike at a prince? Who cares if you have a lot of rits? I'm the prince no matter what and you're just a lowly peasant.'
Unfortunately for Prince Leon and his wishful thinking, Francis Norton's next words nearly sent him into oblivion.
"Chancellor, why did you hit so lightly? You should have hit his mouth harder to the point that all of his teeth beco shattered."
"I was thinking about it, but then I stopped myself. For his cri of treason and rebellion, I believed it's best to have His Majesty punish him instead of ." Lei Zhen stepped forward and said.
"Very well, I'll have him executed in public!" Francis Norton stood up and announced.
When he announced that, Prince Leon's heart was shattered before laughing nacingly. "Haha, of course, Carter doesn't get executed but I do. Why? It's because I'm born a little later and was not as talented as him."
Just when the guards were about to drag Prince Leon out, Kate suddenly halted them.
"Wait a minute, father. I promise them to have their lives spared if they surrender unconditionally." She said, extending her arms out.
At the end of the day, they still shared the sa blood and Kate could not bring herself to see her elder brother die. Not to ntion, she had spoken previously that she would make sure their lives would be spared during the truce eting.
anwhile, Francis Norton remained silent, not knowing what to say in response. His words were like golden words, unable to be taken back. Yet Kate suddenly intervened and caused him to be in a predicant.
'Sigh, this Kate should have really told him this beforehand.' Lei Zhen wanted to smack Kate for her carelessness.
For royalty, especially the king, once their words are out, it was usually hard to take them back since it would damage their reputation and honor.
