In the past, Cecile had read articles and news regarding Lei Zhen being kicked out of the Lei Enterprise.
Ever since that explosive news, Lei Zhen had gone under the radar and was never ntioned in public again.
Normally, that would an the end of him since it would be hard to pull a coback after losing such gigantic support.
However, that was only applicable to people that are diocre at best.
Lei Zhen was soone that Lei Tuoming had personally instructed and the na Lei Tuoming was not to be underestimated in the business world.
To say the person that Lei Tuoming taught was diocre was hilarious itself, and this is why Cecile was extrely cautious of Lei Zhen.
Till now, she still couldn't get a clear read of him and whenever she tried to pry for information, he also calmly redirected the question to a nonsensical answer.
'He avoided all possible clear answers flawlessly but purposely revealed to that he was not on good terms with Aries Guild. Is that a declaration of war or a warning?' Cecile wondered silently, feeling more and more that Lei Zhen was a dangerous foe to interact with.

"Anyway, this is just a casual dinner, so let's not talk much about guild stuff?" Lei Zhen then suggested.

"Lei Zhen doesn't like to talk about guild stuff and is more into the storyline and cinematic mode of Magnolia." She added.

Just because of a conflict of interest, she now had to bear the maliciousness and shrewdness of Lei Zhen, even though he didn't reveal it at all.

"Alright, I'm sure you must be busy with the shareholders now that you lost the first clear achievent." Tang Qiaolian smiled, her words full of poison.
"Thank you for your concern," She suppressed herself to produce a smile and left in an instant.
Once she left the restaurant, Cecile hurriedly dialed a number that had Carlos as the na.
"Yes, Vice Leader?"
"Imdiately open up an investigation of Lei Zhen. I want to know his information about the past up to now."
"Umm, I'm afraid that's not possible, Vice Leader."
Cecile was astonished when she heard Carlos saying it wasn't possible to gather intel regarding Lei Zhen.
"Clarify your words." She then demanded.
Carlos remained silent for a few seconds before explaining. "The Guild Leader had placed a ban on all information regarding Lei Zhen. And if anyone is caught doing so, then we are to be expelled and suffer his wrath."
"As you have stated, only if you are caught. Then, just be discreet about it. I'm not asking you to announce it to the public." Cecile sneered coldly.
Carlos was placed in a difficult spot the mont Cecile told him to simply be discreet about it. Despite the simple words, there was a hidden aning in her words.
And that was where he placed his loyalty in?
Shan Lin or her.
If Carlos was to remain adamant and refuse the order, then it ans his loyalty lies in Shan Lin.
However, if Carlos decided to accept the order, then it ans his loyalty was to Cecile.
It was a question of his loyalty and he only had this one opportunity to prove it.
Cecile calmly waited for an answer from Carlos since she knew what she was asking for.
A few minutes later, Cecile finally got a response from Carlos.
"Understood, Cecile. The investigation would probably take around 2 weeks or more depending on the difficulty of it. Since the party is Lei Zhen, whose information is heavily placed on restriction by multiple business leaders." Carlos said resolutely.
Cecile nodded her head.
"Good, just be discreet and send all information directly to . I don't want any third party to know about it." She then said and ended the call.
She knew that today marked the day when she started going against the Aries Guild.
eting with Lei Zhen today and seeing him in person, Cecile was more certain that he was hiding in plain sight, waiting for the perfect opportunity for a coback.
"I refuse to believe you are willing to swallow this humiliation and not retaliate. Being kicked out by the Lei Enterprise from those shareholders could be a plan from the start." Cecile muttered softly.
She then proceeded to go to her flying car and leave the scene.
anwhile, back in the Golden Restaurant, Lei Zhen was being pestered by Liu Lingxin.
"Well, that bitch has left, so tell . Are you interested in our guild, Miracle Wing? It's fine that you are at a low level. I can carry you and explain many things that you want." Liu Lingxin said excitedly, her eyes practically sparkling at the sight of Lei Zhen.
Lei Zhen was aghast by the energy that Liu Lingxin had and wondered if it was a bad idea to force Cecile to leave the restaurant.
'Did I just commit a blunder and ruin myself?' He exclaid inwardly.
