After a round of his shaless talking, the unknown voice that Lei Zhen heard previously could no longer endure it.

As soon as he finished his words, out of nowhere, a middle-aged man appeared, almost like a magic show where the magician popped out when you least expect it.
To the middle-aged man's surprise though, Lei Zhen held a calm composure as he smiled lightly.
"Apologies, but if I didn't say those words, then I doubt you would ever reveal yourself, right?" Lei Zhen said.
Despite not really feeling sorry for the elderly man, he needed to keep up with his act. After all, he wanted to gain information from this seemingly suspicious elderly man.
There was no way Lei Zhen would believe he was living in this place that seed void of life.
And putting in mind that he was still in Magnolia, Lei Zhen determined that this scene must be one of those so-called hidden ga events that Shan Lin had talked about in the past.
He might not be interested in Magnolia in the past, but he still paid attention to Shan Lin whenever he relayed so stories regarding Magnolia. Not being interested and not paying attention are two different things. Hence, Lei Zhen was glad that he didn't brush Shan Lin off when he excitedly told him stories.
"Hmph, I don't know what the hell was that goddess thinking… how could she give you that kind of power?" The elderly man snorted coldly.
'Goddess?' Lei Zhen made sure to keep his rambling in mind, thinking that it must have been so crucial information that the elderly man accidentally slipped up.
Soti later, the elderly man stepped forward and glanced at Lei Zhen.
"People call Robert Knightman, but you can just call Robert." The elderly man, Robert Knightman introduced himself.
He had a yellow to orange kind of color beard on his chin and with the sun shining upon him, Lei Zhen was able to see his facial features.
Despite sounding like an old man, there was not an ounce of wrinkles on his face, and Lei Zhen was even more shocked about his fit physique. He might have clothes covering his body, but those six-packs were transparent for him to see due to his clothes being wet by the nearby waterfall.
Lei Zhen swallowed so of his saliva nervously as he knew what this ant. Robert was by no ans an ordinary old man and must have been soone influential or even important to Magnolia itself.
Keeping his calm composure after a few seconds, Lei Zhen followed suit and introduced himself. "My na is Lei Zhen, with my surna being Lei and given na as Zhen. The Lei is a Chinese character similar to what you know as lightning or thunderbolt. It's nice to et you, Robert Knightman."
Robert Knightman showed a confused expression, seemingly unable to comprehend the aning of his na. Nevertheless, he nodded his head before retrieving a small ring.
"I don't really care about your na, but considering how you managed to trespass this area where I have sealed it, and how you had the aura of that person. I shall hand you this ring now." He said calmly.
The ring was a plain circular design with silver color. With just a glance, it didn't attract much attention since it seed bland and ordinary.
Lei Zhen didn't know why Robert Knightman would want to give him such an ordinary ring and wanted to reject him since there are no such things as free lunch.
He didn't want to do so tedious task in exchange for such a plain ring.
However, Lei Zhen didn't get a chance to reject Robert Knightman when he suddenly threw the ring toward him. Unconsciously, Lei Zhen extended his hand to hold the ring.
Upon receiving the ring, a system description instantly appeared in front of him.

Lei Zhen was dumbfounded when he finished reading the description of the Ferold's Ring in his hand. The seemingly ordinary ring that he believed to be worthless had such amazing stats and effect.
'If this were to be auctioned online on the Magnolia website, then wouldn't this be sold for at least 300 thousand dollars?' Lei Zhen thought. Magnolia items are always valuable, especially those with Unique and Legendary classes on them.
Such items would usually go for at least thousands, if not millions. After all, items are extrely beneficial to players and essentially a pay-to-win thod to surpass everyone else.
That was how most people in the real world grind Magnolia daily to make a living nowadays. Of course, that doesn't an you would instantly beco rich since most items are already obtained by most players.
So unless the item is extrely scarce or never seen before, it is impossible to beco rich overnight.
