’The fallen shall rise with purpose. The exiled shall reclaim that which was unjustly taken. I shall claim that which is rightfully mine. For it is I who embarks upon a conquest to conquer the heavens and attain Supre Authority.’
It was the only thing that I rembered among the many incidents I witnessed while I was unconscious.
Of course, I didn’t seem to recall it happening in my life before. I was once an obsessive gar who struggled with anhedonia. I wasn’t anything like that.
Perhaps, it was the mory of the avatar that was granted to .
It might be a possible backstory I supposed and it returned to like a faded dream. The mories unfolded entirely—yet, I only rembered the last part, waking from my sudden slumber as I panted heavily, sweat covering my entire body.
I was on a bed in a small room filled with gently fluorescent light. It was comfortable to my eyes as I tried looking through the gap of my fingers.
The surroundings were as calm as a gentle sea—no disturbances, no noise. It was pure, peaceful silence.
However, from the mont I woke up, I continued panting heavily as if a high fever had gotten . There was a strange feeling in my head and I felt frustration for so reason. It was hard to put into words, but at the sa ti, I felt a deep, overwhelming sadness.
As I continued to comprehend the strange sentience I had just gotten, I completely forgot that soone was accompanying next to the bed.
"Ah, you finally woke." She mumbled gently.
It was a woman, but not Shika. She was wearing a gray and white dress—an attire set reminiscent of noble spellcasters. It was that kind of.
My breathes beca sowhat light and it wasn’t hard any longer. I regained my usual composure. I stared at her bewilderedly.
’Who’s she? Moreover, where the heck am I?’ I thought but the words felt heavy at the mont. The woman who seed to be examining went on speaking.
"Hmm, there’s no sign of the spell anymore." She nodded, glancing at my whole body that was half-naked. "There’s no possible sign of exhaustion and your body appeared to be just fine. Yeah, you’re completely cured now."
She then smiled a cheerful smile as if she had done a miracle again.
"Umm, excuse—"
"Oh wait... I should call to report this or I may get into so troubles."
Waiting no more after saying that, she slamd the door and left. I couldn’t even speak properly and she shut the door on .
Figuring out what to do next, I ca down from the bed and walked a few steps until I reached the table where my adventuring dress was left.
I put on my jade-black shirt and carefully began folding up the sleeves.
I wasn’t particularly distracted or anything. Few words ca to like an old, distant mory—which I should’ve been forgotten by now, yet I still rembered as if it’d been my ambition all along.
’Supre Authority...’ I whispered to myself. In the last part of the dream I recalled, I had told that soone very close to . It was a strange feeling. But rather than taking it that way, I considered the chunk of mory from a different perspective.
’As in the Administrative Access?’ I continued whispering to myself, ’Yeah, that’s it. If I seek Supre Authority—which may be the Administrative Access, my issues can be resolved—and if anything that can fix my bug, it has to be sothing that governs the laws of this ga.’
But not everyone had that kind of authority—only the ga’s developers might. Wasn’t there any other way, though?
’There maybe.’ I pondered again, ’If Supre Authority was the ambition of the Fallen Heir, then there might be sothing in his backstory that also may help out in this situation. Gaining access from the developers
is tough—but exploring the avatar’s backstory isn’t.’
Many thoughts led to many possibilities. Each required ti and effort. It had always been tough to achieve goals in an easy way—especially the desires we crave more than anything.
Of course, I knew that. I knew my goal was to escape this reality and return to my original one... I just needed to find sothing that could help do that. Now, I finally know what I need to look for—’It’s the Supre Authority’.
For that, I needed to understand my avatar better—’Which is why, I also need to understand this world better.’
I chuckled. With my newfound ambition and a clear point of view...
"I’m talking like a man who had been transmigrated into a different world."
I continued chuckling.

A short while after I had worn my gear and armor, Shika slamd the door open. She was breathing heavily.
Looking at her, I raised my right arm and greeted, "Yo! How’s it been going? You feeling alright?"
Shika cald down slowly and eventually regained her usual deanor. She was about to say sothing, but a different voice erged.
"Look at you. Having a blast by yourself with the cheerful act? Seems like we were worried for nothing."
It was Zariel who said that, her voice lacing with annoyance. Even so, I could see the tiny hint of worry in her eyes.
’They must’ve been superbly worried when I fainted.’ I thought. "Oh, Zariel! I see you’re as annoying as ever." I teased her with a smug face.
"What did you say, you jerk!" she flew relentlessly around and then stopped before my face, "Try to be more grateful, IDIOT!! When you passed out, you were as good as dead. Since our contract was yet to be breached, we had little hope that you’d survive. With that remaining hope, we carried you back to the Rojo Clan Sect."
"You did?"
"No! It was Shika who carried you here regardless of her exhaustion and she convinced her mother to treat you as well. After all, you’ve been treated here for a week now."
I was shocked to hear that. I then looked at Shika. She averted my gaze, though. It confird whatever Zariel told was the truth—not that she was a liar to begin with anyway.
With a gentle deanor, I approached Shika, looked at her smilingly, and then said, "I’m grateful for what you did, Shika."
I bowed.
"I promise that I will repay this favor to you."
"It’s fine, Zanthrix. You’ve already been working hard for my sake. It’s the least I can do to return the favor."
She looked slightly off than her usual self.
’Did sothing happen to her while I was unconscious?’ I wondered.
