[Class Sifter (Stage II) has been used]

[Class: Defender (Tier-8); DEF: 55 ( 10)]

Even though I had high DEF due to my defender class and had blocked their attacks with a low-graded shield, I surprisingly sustained damages. It was low, but I sustained them anyway.

[Health drained; Health: 1510/1860]

Defender Class relied on party mbers to shield them. As soone who operated more as a lone wolf, I seldom made use of this class—leaving my Defender class at only Tier 8, which was relatively low compared to my other primary classes. It was the lowest tier among them.

I pushed the horde back and managed to slip through their scythes one more ti.

[15: 53]

"Dammit! Is the countdown slow or what?" I murmured bitterly.

[Class Sifter (Stage II) has been used]

[Class: Swordsman (Tier-6); STR: 56 ( 20)]

I was quick on the uptake and pulled out a sword from the inventory.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

I slashed them. I slashed them. And continued slashing them. No matter how much I slashed them, the overwhelming numbers were getting heavy on . Eventually, it was becoming hard for to evade while slicing them with the low-graded weapons.

[Warning! Weapon durability has reached maximum limit]

As soon as the notification appeared, the sword I had just used for a little amount of ti shattered into pieces.

It was no match for them.

It wasn’t suitable for either.

I needed more durable weapons, but the system wouldn’t let . The temporal alterations were still in effect.

Besides, I couldn’t run forever. They chased with twice my speed now. With each passing minute, they were becoming more and more agile. Escaping from their grips was becoming hard as well.

Then...

Strike!

A few reapers ca in a small unit and sneaked up on from behind. They struck with their scythes coated with vile and shadowy energy.

The strikes weren’t slash-type. Instead, they stuck on my back and blood ca out. The wound was deep and the pain almost blanked my mind for a split second.

They continued stabbing .

[Health drained!]

[Health drained!]

[Health drained!]

[Health drained!]

[Health: 740/1860]

Their attack power increased!? I thought as I instantly changed my class.

[Class Sifter (Stage II) has been used]

[Class: Mage (Tier-6); INT: 54 ( 20)]

My mage class was still powerful even without a magical staff or Grimoire. It was the only class I could rely on for offense at the mont.

And as I did...

Magical prowess manifested within my arms, surging through my body and soul and I continued accumulating more and more.

I was stabbed more and more.

[Health drained!]

[Health drained!]

[Warning! Health below 500]

[Health: 280/1860]

"Noir Explosion!"

I scread out loud. The magic I had accumulated so far exploded without a warning. An imnse shockwave was unleashed, eradicating the Shadow Reapers who were near and pushing the rest of them, who later clashed against the walls and pillars.

[Skill Gauge: 87%]

[09:47]

The last ten minutes were left. I was below 300 in my health. The reapers were getting on their feet as well. I probably would have twenty seconds to prepare for my next move.

I cast magic circles as much as possible and covered most of my surroundings. I set up a few trapping circles on the floor as well.

"Okay. Now I need to do sothing about my health." I murmured, selecting another class registered under the primary classes.

[Class Sifter (Stage II) has been used]

[Class: Supporter (Tier-7); VIT: 52 ( 15)]

I cast a protection barrier around my body and healed myself.

I was prohibited from using healing potions, yes, but I wasn’t prevented from using my Supporter Class which was subjected to Protect, Enhance, and Heal myself. The additional vitality (VIT) gained helped to recover my health quickly.

[Health: 620/1860]

[Health: 890/1860]

[Health: 1110/1860]

[Health: 1470/1860]

[STR, AGI, DEF have been temporarily boosted by 10]

[09:29]

My calculations were right. I did get almost twenty seconds before they started attacking again. However, these last ten minutes wouldn’t be as easy as before. This ti they would be much stronger.

For the first ti, I heard them howling like wolves as their faces were revealed. Dark aura poured from their distorted broken mouth as if a skeleton—made of ashes, was drooling. Their eyes glistened red. Their scythes blazed with dark and blue flas.

They tightened their grip before storming on like a disaster. They were about to strike.

[Class Sifter (Stage II) has been used]

[Class: Assassin (Tier-6); AGI: 61 10 ( 20)]

I changed my class but the additional buffs remained, allowing to dash at a faster speed than before. With a low-graded dagger pair, I tried passing through them while slicing as much as I could.

I successfully dodged their scythes and their attacks as well. My high agility made them appear slower—and I could see gaps among their successive attacks. I bypassed their offensive moves.

I evaded, jumping in a rotating manner over their heads. I dodged their attack with my subtle reflexes and rotating flips.

[07:50]

"Damn! It’s ti already!" I bit my lips as I noticed two minutes were about to pass. The effects would be stopping at any mont.

[Skill Gauge: 96%]

Just a little.

I sliced more and more.

[Skill Gauge: 97%]

Slash! Slash! Slash!

[Skill Gauge: 98%]

I need more, dammit!

This ti, however, I sustained damages. I was slicing and thinking about the skill gauge filling out. I was distracted by only a fraction of a seconds. The Shadow Reapers used that small amount of ti to attack . I was gravely injured—though not like before.

[Health: 1140/1860]

I can still manage to attack. MORE!!!

I sliced. I slashed. I cut through them once again.

[Skill Gauge: 100%]

[Class-based ultimate moves are now available]

[06:16]

However, I didn’t use the ace right after getting it. I had more than six minutes to stand. If I were to get carried away, my recklessness would register with a huge deal of consequences—which I liked to avoid.

Besides, I didn’t have a suitable ultimate move that would help at the mont with my current class. Of course, there was a class that could help to last long if I used the ultimate moves listed under that specific class.

Fortunately, my accumulated skill gauge would be available even if I switched my class.

"Then it’s decided, I guess, heh-heh!" I chuckled, switching to that class that would help resolve this situation with more advantages.
