Woooo~~~

‘I'm Lightning!’

It wasn't clear whether it was due to being suppressed for too long in this other world, but finally getting to move around left Kaelis feeling refreshed, a sensation she hadn't experienced in ages.

Like eating a rotten potato.

Whether it was an illusion after ditation or not, Kaelis felt her physical explosive power didn't match her monotonous nutritional intake at all. On the contrary, she even had the illusion that she was actually a professional athlete.

Ethereal white mist swirled around her body, signifying she had completely entered her state.

Her speed beca so intense she started whistling alongside the wind itself.

The wind blew past her veil, revealing the face she had always concealed. Her alluring, elven-like features, seen only in a fleeting glimpse, caused passersby to widen their eyes and freeze in place.

But before they could even process it, they noticed the rapidly approaching patrol team mbers rushing after her. Their expressions shifted, and they quickly cleared the path.

Although Kaelis ran incredibly fast, these patroln were no ordinary people.

Each of them also emitted white mist, but it clung tightly to their skin, forming unique ethereal rings, further enhancing their speed.

Before long, Kaelis was forced into a corner by them.

“Ha... ha...”

Gasping for breath, Kaelis felt her body trembling slightly.

Blood roared through her veins, her heart pounding like an engine operating at full speed!

Even so, Kaelis was still in better condition than the guards who had caught up.

Her complexion remained relatively rosy, but the pursuers' faces had already turned faintly pale.

Seeing Kaelis cornered, they wore expressions of disbelief.

Wait... The white mist appearing on Kaelis, that ant she was rely a Stage Two Ascender? They were already Stage Three! Their next step was formal ascension!

Yet even so, they had nearly lost track of Kaelis?!

Who exactly was this girl?!

“Watch her steps... She just knocked out our captain.”

During the brief mont of panting and standoff, soone quickly realized sothing was off and imdiately warned their comrades.

That warning instantly made the pursuers' expressions turn grim.

Knocking the captain, a formally ascended warrior... This girl was definitely no ordinary person...

We must strike hard!

Hearing their realization about her footwork, Kaelis was slightly surprised.

These guys weren't complete fools, how quickly they had caught on?

Indeed, her steps were different.

Across four simulations, Kaelis had chosen the path of enlistnt. And except for the first ti, she had actually joined a special squad each ti.

This unit seed to handle special missions, but due to a temporary shortage of scouts, Kaelis had volunteered to join.

Although she'd never been exposed to their battlefield before, through multiple simulations, Kaelis had learned nurous techniques.

For instance, the flower-step she used earlier to dodge the woman, and the bird-step she used just now to escape.

In truth, Kaelis's execution of these techniques was still clumsy. After all, she wasn't so battle-hardened veteran. The only reason she could learn them so quickly was because her understanding of the human body exceeded ordinary imagination.

After just a few battles, she grasped their chanics of power generation and simply replicated them...

This clumsy imitation couldn't match the effectiveness of their trained specialists, but... it was sufficient to outpace ordinary people.

However...

These pursuers chasing Kaelis were far from ordinary.

Seeing the glowing white ethereal rings forming on their bodies, Kaelis gritted her teeth, her expression slightly bitter.

She never expected that the first ti she finally touched the extraordinary powers of this world, it would be under these circumstances...

She still wanted to struggle, but the escape route had already been blocked.

This ti, Kaelis couldn't create an opening in their encirclent through surprise.

Watching the patroln raise their battered wooden clubs and approach, Kaelis felt a pang of fear.

If hit by that thing... it would hurt a lot, right?

Hmm...

“I should've learned swordsmanship earlier... At least I could use it now.”

Kaelis sighed, but hadn't given up completely.

Seeing the patroln hadn't yet fully closed their encirclent, she gritted her teeth.

Flower-step!

Like a rusted machine... forcibly squeezing out its last bit of strength, Kaelis's lower legs exploded with power. Without hesitation, she charged straight at the guard in front of her.

Just as they were about to swing their clubs, Kaelis suddenly threw her drawing paper!

Blinding them with paper!

Kaelis attempted to exploit this mont of confusion to break through their encirclent again.

But at that very mont, a sudden, powerful gust of wind violently struck her head-on!

The force of the wind was so strong it actually halted Kaelis's steps.

But compared to that, Kaelis was now more worried about sothing else...

Glancing sideways.

Under Kaelis's gaze, the drawing paper was blown away by the gale. The guard, regaining vision, imdiately swung his club!

If this strike landed, given Kaelis's current physical condition, she wouldn't survive the impact!

Even if she didn't die, broken bones would be inevitable!

Finished!

With her last hope shattered, Kaelis's face truly revealed a trace of resentnt.

She hadn't done anything wrong...

She rely wanted to live a life where she could eat her fill...

She only wished to have money, then wholeheartedly paint the pictures she loved...

Why was everything against her?!

Damn it!

Clenching her fist, gritting her teeth, Kaelis stopped resisting. She simply widened her eyes.

As if using this thod to vent her frustration.

But in that very instant, the towering mural within her mind suddenly flickered on its own!

An unprecedented light surged into Kaelis's consciousness. Her soul beca crystal clear in an instant!

So kind of power was flowing out from her fingertips!

And the target receiving this power...

Was clearly her artwork!

“Screee, !!!”

A piercing shriek erupted.

The sudden sound jolted everyone present awake.

In a daze, a black-and-white hunting hawk suddenly lunged forth!

In an instant, it blocked the club's strike ant for Kaelis!

The guard hadn't even reacted.

Another painting, the fierce tiger, also lunged out!

Roaring, it tackled the pursuers!

Its ferocious white fangs flashed a chilling gleam in the air!

The sudden turn of events threw all the pursuers into chaos.

Kaelis snapped back to reality, staring in disbelief at the tiger and the hawk.

Under her will, the two beasts continued attacking the surrounding pursuers.

“Don't kill them!”

Kaelis quickly shouted, and the beasts seed to understand. They rely used brute force, slamming the enemies to both sides of the road, knocking them unconscious.

This sudden reversal left Kaelis's head spinning.

But the two beasts didn't stop. They imdiately pounced beside Kaelis, assuming defensive stances.

This made Kaelis instinctively turn her head.

Behind her, the female captain from earlier had already caught up, charging forward with fierce montum...
