Anthony simply stared at the man and shook his head. The Second Supreme Monarch had once stood near the very pinnacle of what the Acarnis Galaxy could offer his race. Yet, here he was, reduced to this.

Anthony reminded himself that if he wasn’t careful, he might one day bee just like this.

With that, Anthony stepped forward. He released a sigh as he shook his head. As he approached the Second Supreme Monarch, Chaos Energy hummed around him as he manipulated the ambient energy within the cave. Using it, he began to heal the Second Supreme Monarch’s limbs, and as a generous man, Anthony also healed his old injuries.

’I truly am a good and generous guy,’ Anthony thought to himself in praise.

Did he pity the Second Supreme Monarch? Please. Anthony’s heart was colder than any ice when it came to showing mercy to his enemies. Him healing the Second Supreme Monarch was simply to ensure that the man wouldn’t die.

Although he had planted a curse that made the man unable to mit suicide, he could still die through other means. Just as Anthony had said, the man was now his only source of entertainment.

Although, to Anthony, there had been no real need to place a curse preventing suicide upon the Second Supreme Monarch. After all, a man at the Supreme Monarch’s level possessed an immense will to survive, remain alive, and climb back to the top. He had once tasted overwhelming power; there was no way he would abandon his will to live simply because he was fated to be raped every month.

The Second Supreme Monarch raised his head. He stared at Anthony with a tired expression. Although there were tears on his face, the hatred burning within the man had only grown even greater.

Anthony was certain that, from this point onward, the Second Supreme Monarch would fully accept himself as a Demon. After all, the man still believed himself to be a Vampire. He was certain the man would begin tapping into his Demonic traits, acting like a true Demon, and perhaps even sacrifice half of his soul in exchange for more power.

But alas, it would all be futile.

"It was nice meeting you, Second Supreme Monarch," Anthony said with a small smile. "Meeting you was the right decision. See you another time," he stated in finality as he stared into the former Vampire’s black eyes.

Anthony activated Thought Conception, and he immediately vanished from where he stood, leaving the Acarnis Galaxy as though he had never visited it in the first place.

The Second Supreme Monarch simply remained seated. His hand immediately clenched into a fist, his fingers digging deep into his palm as he crushed the stones and pebbles within his grasp into fine dust.

In his mind, he had already killed Anthony a billion times over. No... even a billion times was far too few. He slowly rose to his feet and exhaled deeply as though trying to purge the overwhelming rage consuming him. With that, he began walking out of the cavern he had been hiding in. Since Anthony had healed his injuries, there was no longer any need for him to remain there.

Within the Abyssal Realm, hours existed, but the concepts of daytime and nighttime did not. With a single step, the Second Supreme Monarch vanished into a blur as he resumed his journey. Although, from this day onward, he would undoubtedly be wary of every male Demon he encountered throughout his life.

Anthony appeared back inside his cottage, his body settling naturally onto the seat he had been occupying as though he hadn’t just traveled to another galaxy and returned. His mind lingered on his meeting with the Second Supreme Monarch for a brief moment before he shook his head and chose to forget about the former Vampire altogether.

His head shifted to the side, and within one of the training rooms inside the hill that had been allocated to Jarod, the boy could be seen diligently practicing the movement technique Anthony had given him. Due to the increase in his talent, the boy was progressing at an astonishing pace. After an hour, he transitioned to the sword technique. Then, after another two hours, he began cultivating in order to increase his rank.

’He is working hard,’ Anthony thought to himself as he stared at Jarod’s peaceful and posed expression while the young man cultivated.

But whether this diligence stemmed merely from the excitement of suddenly being a "genius," only to eventually fade away, or whether it was something permanent, Anthony didn’t know. Only time would reveal the answer.

’Hmmm... since I have nothing to do, should I guide him a bit in his swordsmanship and movement training?’ Anthony thought to himself for a moment.

But the very next moment, he shook his head. That sounded like far too much work. Deep down, however, he knew he was simply too lazy to do anything. He would much rather sleep than burden himself with even the slightest bit of additional work.

As Anthony rose to his feet to retire to his room and sleep the day away, he immediately paused mid-step as his head snapped toward a particular direction where Origin Essence was humming with incredible intensity.

Anthony couldn’t help but smile as he instantly understood exactly what was happening.

Tory Hale had broken through and stepped into the Foundation Star Monarch Realm. It seemed the man was no longer willing to wait after witnessing Anthony’s display earlier.

Anthony merely shook his head before turning his attention away and heading toward his room. Once there, he simply fell asleep like a log. And with that, three days passed as the sun continuously rose and fell.

While the entire sect worked and trained tirelessly, Anthony simply remained in bed, sleeping. Even Jarod was surprised, but he said nothing. To him, geniuses weren’t meant to be understood through ordinary mon sense.

To Jarod, this might as well have been Anthony’s training method, as he had never once seen the man train a single day in his life.

And with that, the fourth day finally passed, and the day of departure for The Sleeping Hollow finally arrived. As a result, various Territories, Organizations, Sects, Clans, and independent powerhouses all began sending out their disciples.

Whether this journey would bee a path of no return, no one truly knew, as every single one of them had their eyes fixed upon the treasures and rewards awaiting within.
