Chapter 1110: Hunt Aaaninja

As Anthony sat in his room, worried over Lucian, Aura Nova, and Kingsley, his senses tingled, his head snapped upwards, and there he could see Beru, Igris, Bellion, and George flying towards him, with Rider, Bryan, Tiara, and Bringer right behind them.

’It seems Beru is done playing with his food,’ Anthony thought to himself.

The next instant, they appeared before Anthony. Although Anthony had hidden his presence due to the Null Estate security guards, his shadow soldiers could always sense his presence through their shadow connection; needless to say, they had also cast stealth on themselves.

"You all are back," Anthony spoke as he sat, staring at them with a smile.

Bryan and the rest did not reply, as though they were still in awe of what they had just witnessed.

Anthony’s eyes tore away from his friends, focusing on Beru and the rest as he spoke, "It seems you enjoyed yourselves."

"We did, my liege. Although the enemies were weak, it was nice to stretch," Beru was the first to reply, as after fighting for a while, he had eaten his Vampire opponent alive, savoring both the battle and the hunt in equal asure.

Igris, who rarely spoke, spoke this ti, "I am not as refined with the daggers as I am with the sword; this fight enabled

to understand a few things," he stated, not belittling his enemy, instead saying he learned sothing from them. He truly was a Knight, bound not only by strength but by discipline and growth.

Anthony’s eyes turned to Bellion as he awaited his own response. Bellion sighed as he spoke, "I do not have any opinion, aside from the fact that I only wish to fight the Angels," his words a bit flat, yet carrying an unmistakable edge of anticipation.

George, on the other hand, just nodded; he seed even more mute than Igris was, his silence heavier, yet not empty.

"Well, I suppose you all got to fight a little," Anthony replied with a shake of his head, despite their differing reactions.

"My liege, can you not fast-forward ti for the entire Galaxy and bring the battle with the Angels forward? Staying within the shadow realm is suffocating," Beru suggested, as he already knew Anthony was about to send them back to the shadow realm now that their job was done, his impatience barely concealed.

"Why do you not do it yourself, Beru?" Anthony suggested as he stared at him.

"But I do not have the ability to manipulate ti on any level, my liege," Beru stated as he stared at Anthony, his tone carrying both honesty and limitation.

"I am sure you know of Aaaninja; why not hunt him down and take his affinity for yourself? Or Aura Nova, her Omniedit allows her to manipulate ti as well," Anthony gave another suggestion, his voice calm yet laced with subtle provocation.

Beru paused, not daring to speak. Although he usually looked down on his opponents and was arrogant, he was not an arrogant fool who failed to recognize reality. He knew it deep down, that these two individuals could end him with nothing but a slap if he tried anything foolish. Although he was immortal, capable of endlessly regenerating with his liege’s boundless mana, even that had its limits when faced with overwhelming existence.

"I think I will return to the shadow realm for now, my liege," Beru spoke in a low tone, retreating both physically and ntally.

"Just train and try to surpass them; I believe you possess more talent than those two," Anthony replied. A small, amused smile appeared on his lips as he stared at him, his words carrying encouragent... or perhaps sothing else entirely.

Beru’s eyes turned teary as he spoke, "Thank you for believing in , my liege!!!" His voice echoed with churning emotion; then he vanished into the shadow realm, eager to train and rise to the expectations of his liege, fueled by both devotion and illusion.

Bellion, Igris, and George stared at the departed Beru as though he were an idiot. They obviously knew Anthony had fooled him; it was just that Beru was simply too eager to see through it, and far too willing to take his words at face value. But would they tell him anything? Definitely not. They would allow him to train hopelessly for an impossible dream, if only to entertain themselves.

Anthony’s eyes turned to Igris and the rest. They bowed and vanished into the shadow realm without a word, as they had nothing to do here anymore, all of them silently looking forward to the Angel Invasion, their anticipation restrained yet undeniable.

Only if the Divinora Galaxy knew that so individuals of the Acarnis Galaxy anticipated this invasion even more than the Angels themselves.

Anthony’s eyes turned to his friends as he spoke, "Are the four of you just going to stand there like idiots?" With his words directed at them, they finally ca out of their thoughts.

"You know, Anthony, I thought only you could treat Apexus Mana Rankers like they were nothing; turns out I was fucking wrong, everyone under you can," Bringer stated, as though he still could not believe what he saw, his voice tinged with disbelief.

"Honestly, at this point, I am tempted to just leave the Military and serve under you. I am sure it cos with more benefits. Besides, I am not royalty, so nothing is holding

back," Tiara stated as she stared at Anthony with a half-serious expression, as though if he accepted her words, she would imdiately submit to his command without hesitation.

Rider and Bryan said nothing; they both simply sighed and took off their glasses, the gesture subtle yet loaded with unspoken agreent of their friends’ earlier words.

After a mont, Rider asked, "Can I keep one of them?"

Anthony turned towards him, then asked, "Are you using your wish on this?"

Rider stayed silent for a mont, then spoke, "No. When I want to use my wish, I will inform you," he stated, his tone firm, yet casual.

"Then no, you cannot keep any of them; they are not Pokémon cards," Anthony replied with a shake of his head, dismissing the notion entirely.

Although none of them knew what Pokémon cards were, they assud it was perhaps sothing collected only by those at the Apexus Mana Rank.

"Co on, just give us one each, it does not have to be those four in particular. You have other Planetary level shadow soldiers; just give us one, and all of us will share," Bringer stated, trying his own luck since his brother’s attempt had failed, his persistence evident.

Anthony stared at him for a mont, then shook his head with an amused smile, declining Bringer without speaking, his decision final.
