Chapter 1078: Exploring Space-3
"To think you can control even the energy stars give off," Rider spoke as he flew toward his twin to examine the star orb more closely, his voice filled with a mixture of awe and disbelief.
"At the Apexus Mana Rank, everyone can innately control Star Energy, although your level of control depends on how much mastery you have over it. However, nobody truly bothers, simply because mana itself is just as potent as Star Energy and can even surpass it depending on how deep your control and understanding are," Anthony explained without missing a beat, his tone casual as always.
Everyone nodded at his words. Although they did not fully understand what Star Energy truly was, they did not bother asking; after all, what could they possibly do with such energy at their current stage or even the knowledge of it?
"I wonder what will happen if I swallow the star orb," Bringer spoke out loud as he stared intently at the star orb, "will I awaken so sort of Titan Star bloodline, or possess so starlight power, or perhaps gain star-based skills?" he continued, his eyes shifting toward Anthony as though waiting for an answer.
Anthony kept quiet for a mont, then spoke, "Life is all about risk; if we do not take risks, how can we beco stronger? So swallow it and find out, who knows?" A faint smile appeared on his face as he gazed at Bringer, almost as though he were deliberately encouraging him.
Silence passed between everyone as they all stared at Anthony. After a few seconds, Bringer spoke, "Maybe I will try a thousand years later." The star orb vanished into his space rings. After all, this was a literal fragnt of a star; the odds of him dying were definitely 99.999%.
He had only asked so he could gauge the possibility, and perhaps, if it seed feasible, he would pester Anthony to assist him with it.
With that, everyone flew away again as they continued their exploration without another word, seemingly unwilling to dwell on the matter any further.
After a few minutes, Bryan returned from his barren planet adventure. If there was sothing Anthony had done, it was to transmit both the questions any of them asked him and the answers he gave to everyone else, ensuring that nobody would repeat a question he had already addressed.
After a few minutes, Anthony spoke, "Let’s go deeper; you will find even more beautiful things. Although I would love to slow down and move at a steady pace so that you all can properly enjoy the view, space is simply too vast, and it would take centuries if I moved that slowly," he stated calmly.
"Can’t you give us those perception glasses but for the Planetary level, so that we can at least perceive the view as you move?" Rider suggested, his tone hopeful.
"Nope," Anthony replied with a smile, then vanished from where he stood as he pulled everyone forward with him, crossing thousands of kiloters in the span of a re second.
Before long, they appeared at another point in the galaxy. "We are here," Anthony spoke calmly.
Everyone imdiately looked around, their eyes widening in pure awe. If what they had seen before had left them astonished, this ti they did not even know how to feel, they were simply too speechless to react.
From one side, nebulae stretched like luminous oceans across the void, their swirling gases glowing with quiet intensity. Within them, unseen forces shaped the birth and death of stars. To Rider, Bryan, Bringer, and Tiara, they appeared both beautiful and ominous, vast cosmic veils where creation and destruction coexisted in a silent, eternal balance.
From a distant vantage point, a quasar blazed at the heart of a galaxy, its brilliance outshining countless stars. Driven by a supermassive black hole, it devoured surrounding matter, releasing torrents of energy. It appeared as a cosmic beacon, both srizing and destructive, radiating unimaginable power across vast, incomprehensible distances.
At another direction lood a profound darkness, and at the center of that darkness, a black hole warped everything around it, bending light into twisted arcs. Streams of matter spiraled inward, stretching and vanishing beyond reach. Space itself seed distorted in its presence, as though reality struggled to maintain its form near sothing so dense and absolute.
"These are simply too... srizing," Tiara spoke in pure reverence, her voice soft as though she feared breaking the silence of such a grand spectacle.
"I’ve only seen these in books; I never thought I would get to see them... at least not so soon," Bryan stated as he gazed at a nebula, marveling at such a perfect creation, his eyes reflecting its radiant glow.
They flew forward, boldly heading toward these destructive forces of nature, placing absolute trust, one hundred percent belief, in Anthony’s abilities to keep them safe.
"I’ve heard many terrifying things about black holes, but to think I’m not even being affected, how is that even possible?" Rider asked as he stared into the black hole, as though attempting to peer into its depths, yet all his gaze t was endless, eternal nothingness.
He turned toward Anthony, expecting an answer, but Anthony simply shook his head and spoke, "You just need to understand that I am simply that strong, nothing more, nothing less," his voice as calm and indifferent as ever.
"Although I would love to say I expected nothing less of you, this is simply madness," Tiara stated as she floated around a nebula, her expression caught between disbelief and admiration.
"I don’t think even my father would survive a black hole," Bryan stated as he shook his head, still trying to comprehend the absurdity of their current situation.
Anthony simply looked around, the tapestry of colors, the radiant illuminations, the faint cosmic hums, the serene calmness that perated everything. He had never truly taken the ti to admire the galaxy before, despite it being one of humanity’s greatest dreams, to explore the vastness of space... at least in his past life.
’I wonder if another group of people have begun exploring the Milky Way back on Earth, ever since the first landing on the moon,’ he thought to himself. The next mont, he shook his head slightly as he refocused on the scene before him.
’Truly, the galaxy is beautiful and endlessly fascinating,’ Anthony thought to himself as he slowly leaned back in a lazy motion, as though he intended to fall asleep amidst the boundless beauty and tranquil silence of the cosmos.
But the next mont, a voice echoed through the ever-expanding space of the Acarnis Galaxy, "Hoo!!! What do we have here? A group of Human species children exploring space."
Bryan, Bringer, Rider, and Tiara imdiately froze where they stood, their blood running cold as a chilling sensation crawled down their spines. Only Anthony remained completely unbothered, as he had already sensed this new group of troublemakers long before they arrived. In fact, he had been waiting for them, quietly anticipating their arrival with a calm, almost indifferent patience.
