Nemuri, i, and Nemu also did not understand what was happening to him. He had been okay earlier, but suddenly he was acting like he had gone crazy.

Yoruichi, who was staring at him, felt the pressure building in his right fist.
She panicked.

Even the black ribbon on Maki's wrist began malfunctioning.
In the monitoring room, Nemu's monitor flashed warning signals.
"W-what's happening?" i asked.
Nemu replied, "T-the ribbon is malfunctioning."
Nemuri, who stood beside them, saw everything.
She didn't know what had happened to him, but just seeing that expression on Maki's face made her left eye tear up.
She had never seen that look before.
It was as if he had been keeping sothing buried deep inside him that he could never say.

She smiled.
All of them watched Maki's lips curve into a smile.
A smile of finally letting go.
Then they heard his words.
