After finalizing the remaining docunts, Nezu leaned back in his chair.

The dormitory assignnts were nearly complete. Renovations, special requests, structural adjustnts—everything had been accounted for.

Everything except one.

Maki's dorm.

Nezu reached for the phone resting on his desk. He unlocked it, opened his contacts, and scrolled down until he found the na:

Nemuri Kayama.

He pressed call.

The line rang once.

Twice.

Then it connected.

"Oh? Hello, Principal Nezu. What's the matter?" Nemuri's cheerful voice ca through.

"Well," Nezu began pleasantly, "I'm currently finalizing the dorm arrangents. Only Maki's room remains undecided. I was inclined to think he might have certain preferences, so I thought I'd ask."

Nemuri humd thoughtfully. "Honestly, anything would do. He'd accept whatever you give him."

"Yes, that was my assumption as well," Nezu replied. "However, I would still prefer to hear his wishes directly. Is he there with you?"

"We're still at school," she answered. "And yes, he's here."

"Oh? What a coincidence." Nezu smiled faintly. "Could you hand the phone to him? I'd like to ask personally."

"Sure."

The sound of faint chatter filtered through the speaker as the phone changed hands.

Then—

A deep voice.

"Aluu… Maki uani."

Nezu's ears twitched.

He froze for half a second.

Nezu was known worldwide not only for his High-Spec Quirk, but for his extraordinary intellect and communication skills.

Perfect Recall.

Anything he learned, he never forgot.

Languages included.

He could absorb grammar, phonetics, syntax—almost instantly. Managing an international academy required mastery over multiple languages.

And the words he just heard…

They weren't Japanese.

Nezu's mind worked rapidly.

He responded in the sa language.

"Aluu… Maki… Qanorippit?"

There was a brief pause.

"Ajunngilanga," Maki replied calmly.

Nezu's eyes glead.

Interesting.

That confird it.

He switched back to Japanese smoothly.

"Well then, that's good. I'm currently assigning dormitories and wanted to know your preference regarding your room."

"?" Maki asked.

"Yes, you."

"…Sothing with a roof," Maki answered after a second.

Nezu chuckled softly into the phone.

"Well, that is certainly manageable. What else? You may request anything. So students have already asked for private gyms, libraries, even indoor swimming pools."

There was silence on the other end.

Nezu waited.

Then he heard it.

Low.

Calm.

But unmistakably excited.

"Can I have a place at the sea?"

Nezu blinked.

"…The sea?"

"Yes."

Nezu leaned back slowly.

U.A. Island was located in the North Pacific Ocean. It was connected to mainland Japan through massive reinforced bridges—the primary one stretching from Chiba.

Technically, the island was completely surrounded by ocean.

But why would he ask for that?

Was he isolating himself intentionally?

Nezu's thoughts branched into multiple possibilities at once.

anwhile, Maki remained unaware of the principal's spiraling deductions.

He simply wanted access to the ocean.

Fishing.

That was all.

Old habits didn't disappear so easily.

"Are you requesting that we construct a residence over the water?" Nezu asked carefully.

"…A house at sea?" Maki sounded confused.

"Is that not what you ant?"

"No," Maki replied imdiately. "I'm asking if there's sowhere near the island where I can see the sea."

Nezu paused.

Had he misinterpreted the entire request?

He was asking about dorms.

Wasn't he?

Then Maki spoke again, voice slightly brighter than before.

"Principal… that house idea actually sounds interesting."

Nezu's whiskers twitched.

"But don't worry about it," Maki continued casually. "Just give so free space, and I'll make my own sail."

There was a faint grin in his tone.

"Thank you."

Before Nezu could ask further questions, the phone shifted hands again.

Nemuri returned to the line.

"Principal Nezu, what did you two talk about? Why does he suddenly sound excited?"

Nezu himself was still processing the exchange.

"Well," he said with a small smile, "he requested a portion of free water."

"…What?" Nemuri asked, confused.

Nezu chuckled lightly.

"We'll discuss it tomorrow. I'll prepare the remaining details. Please stay in touch."

The call ended.

Nezu exhaled slowly.

"I expected absurd requests," he murmured to himself. "Private renovations. Pools. Gyms. Expanded libraries…"

He glanced at Maki's file.

"But asking if he may fish in the sea?"

He leaned forward and began typing on his keyboard, pulling up detailed maps of the island's periter.

Such a simple request.

Yet with soone like Maki, nothing felt simple.

With those abilities…

What exactly was he planning?

Nezu's High-Spec mind split into countless parallel threads, analyzing scenarios, construction feasibility, security implications, psychological motives.

Fishing?

Or sothing more?

He rested his chin on his clasped paws.

"What an odd student."

And yet—

A faint smile ford on his face.

"Interesting."
