Then he readied his guitar. He strumd, and while strumming, he drumd and tapped on the guitar's body simultaneously. It produced a reggae-like sound of music.

After the intro, his deep, lodious voice rang out—this ti with a more vibrant and energetic tone.

(Strums down.)

One day, one da-a-ay,

Sotis I lay under the moon

And thank God I'm breathin'

Then I pray, "Don't take soon

'Cause I am here for a reason"

Sotis in my tears I drown

But I never let it get down

So when negativity surrounds

I know soday, it'll all turn around because

All my life, I've been waitin' for

I've been prayin' for, for the people to say

That we don't wanna fight no more

There'll be no more wars, and our children will play

One day (one day), one day (one day)

One day (oh-oh-oh)

One day (one day), one day (one day)

One day (oh-oh-oh)

It's not about win or lose

'Cause we all lose when they feed on the souls of the innocent

Blood-drenched pavent

Keep on movin' though the waters stay ragin'

In this maze, you can lose your way, your way

It might drive you crazy

But don't let it faze you, no way, no way

Sotis in my tears I drown (I drown)

But I never let it get down (get down)

So when negativity surrounds (surrounds)

I know soday, it'll all turn around because

All my life, I've been waitin' for (waitin' for)

I've been prayin' for (prayin' for), for the people to say

That we don't wanna fight no more (fight no more)

There'll be no more wars (no more wars), and our children will play

One day (one day), one day (one day)

One day (oh, oh, oh, oh-oh-oh, one day)

One day (one day), one day (one day)

One day (oh-oh-oh)

One day, this all will change, treat people the sa

Stop with the violence, down with the hate

One day, we'll all be free and proud to be

Under the sa sun, singin' songs of freedom like

Wah-yo (one day, one day), wah-yo, oh, oh (oh-oh-oh)

Wah-yo (one day, one day), wah-yo, oh, oh (oh-oh-oh)

All my life, I've been waitin' for

I've been prayin' for, for the people to say

That we don't wanna fight no more

There'll be no more wars, and our children will play

One day (one day), one day (one day)

One day (oh-oh-oh)

One day (one day), one day (one day)

One day (oh-oh-oh)

One day, one day, one da—ay.

Nemuri was vibing with the sound of sothing new. She didn't notice how her body was slightly moving from side to side while recording Maki singing.

She just stared at Maki's face—maybe because of the sunlight and his long black hair, his full face was mostly hidden, leaving only his high nose, red lips, and sharp jawline visible.

But nonetheless, she could see that he was truly having fun.

Then the last chord struck, ending the song.

Nemuri stopped recording and clapped her hands.

"As expected from my man—you really are the best," she said.

Maki looked at Nemuri and replied, "Oh? Looks like soone is really excited."

After Maki was done with his recording, he stood up, grabbed his phone, and stopped the recording.

But he didn't press play right away. Instead, he put his phone down and walked toward Nemuri, pulling her into a hug. Because of their height difference, Maki had to bend slightly to wrap his arms around Nemuri's slim waist.

Nemuri asked softly, "What's wrong?"

Maki rested his head on Nemuri's right shoulder and said, "Well… I just felt like hugging you."

"Fufufufu, is that so, Mister Clinger?" Nemuri teased.

Maki tightened his hold on her, pressing her body closer to his.

"Oh, you're really soft," Maki said. "Especially those two buns of yours. I wonder what their size is."

"Fufufufu, look at you—asking a woman such personal questions," Nemuri replied. "Well, if it's you, then it's okay."

She leaned closer to Maki's ear and whispered, "It's E-cup."

"E-cup?" Maki said. "Well, I guess I need to check it later."

"Fufufufu, hold your horses, honey. It's not the ti yet."

"Such a cliffhanger," Maki said.

"Well, no need to rush, my boy," Nemuri teased while licking her lips. "My body, my heart, and my mind belong only to you."

"Well, I won't let anyone else have you anyway," Maki said with a resolute voice.

"Hahaha, you're really dangerous, boy," Nemuri replied.

"But anyway, aren't you going to edit or post your first-ever video?"

Maki was still resting his head on Nemuri's shoulder as he said, "Maybe later. What about you—do you want so snacks?"

Nemuri stared at him and said, "Anything you make is delicious."

Maki straightened his back and pecked Nemuri on the cheek. "Then wait here. I'll make you sothing delicious."

He walked toward the kitchen, but before he could go any farther, Nemuri called out, "Maki, I'll post your video first on my Hero-net. Is that alright?"

"That's fine," Maki replied. "Why even ask? I'm not so sponsored artist or anything…"

He paused, then added, "Wait, Nemuri—doesn't that make you my sponsor?"

He chuckled softly before continuing, "Anyway, it's just a song. It's for soone who longs for sothing—not for money or fa."

Nemuri didn't say anything. She didn't really understand him sotis—sotis he spoke deeply, sotis he acted old-fashioned. She just tilted her head and said, "Okay then. Oh, I'll also put your page link. Maybe many people will like your songs more."
