"Prep everyone. Two hours, we fight.”
Hatsu muttered sothing about swapping out the coolant on a condenser and bolted out the shed before I finished blinking. Momo slid the pad into her bag and followed.
When I stepped outside, Shoji was already moving through rooftops. Tsuyu adjusted a rope line near the cliff. Bakugo stood at the edge of the ridge, arms crossed, feet apart like he was daring the air to blow wrong. I blew on his ear as I passed by.
I caught Kaminari wrestling with a power box behind a generator and barked, “You get that online or just dry humping it for fun?”
“Bro, this box is older than Gran Torino’s diaper stash. I swear it runs on broken dreams and dried lube.”
“Add more lube then. You got ten.”
Kids and villagers were tucked deep inland, boxed between storage sheds and the backup wellhouse where ground sensors were planted. Komori, and Reiko stood guard with three others from 1-B.
When the ti ca, I pinged the party.
[Stay off comms unless necessary. I will relay. Enemy inbound soon.]
“Got movent,” Kuroiro’s voice cracked into my head. “Three-man forward unit, south beach. Visual confird.”
I crouched near the cliff’s edge, just above the south inlet. Toru stood beside . Four enemies crept from the shadows. Standard sweep pattern. Triangular formation, center lead.
The second their ugly mugs appeared clear, I used [Analyze].

I grinned at Toru, 'They are splitting. Let’s take one of them while they deal with the little gifts we left on the beach. Who do you want?'
She pointed her finger at Slice.
“That bitch. She gives creeps.”
'Good choice,' I said, then moved.
Explosions went off on three ends of the beach, lighting the sand like the world’s worst sumr party. Hatsu’s traps did their thing... one mine flung a henchman a full ter into the air before he ragdolled into a crate. Another set burst into glue, which wasn’t deadly, but that poor bastard was going to need dental work and therapy.
Perfect.
I jerked my head. Toru peeled off without a word, heading into the back lines. She would handle the clean-up. Henchn weren’t a problem... they were her buffet. I slipped behind a low wall, dropped into a side alley, and cut toward Slice’s path. Smoke rolled from one of the busted mine spots, giving cover to approach.
I rushed forward.
[ENDLESS MONTUM ACTIVATED].
My muscles coiled. Vision tunneled, locked in. Sowhere behind , a speaker shorted with a hiss, but I was already gone, just motion in their peripheral vision.
Slice was perched like a harpy on the edge of a fallen rooftop, watching her n spread. She saw and smiled like she just spotted dessert with daddy issues. One leg tucked, twitching her hair like they had their own goddamn personalities. She looked down, smirked like I was the joke, and snapped her head to the side.
"Finally." She said. "Let slice you up and hear you scream. Bet you sound prettier in pieces."
The hair whipped.
Wrong move.
I ducked under the first volley, slipped sideways as a chunk of roof exploded beside . Two strands ca low, she was trying to catch my feet, trip . Cute. I vaulted over the low rail, twisted mid-air, and hit the ground running.
[MONTUM SHIFT Strength Boosted].
"Aw, you trying to tie up, Rapunzel? Cute. Sorry, babe, but I don’t do foreplay with Dollar Store dominatrixes."
[ENDLESS BANTER ACTIVE]
She snarled, threw a dozen blades in a wide arc. I twisted left, then right, never stopping, every dodge amping my montum, speed climbing. Her strikes were fast, but she was still watching with human eyes. She was guessing. I was already gone.
[PHANTOM STEP ACTIVATED]
My body blurred left while I went right.
One blade clipped air where I had been. Another skimd my shoulder, but I kept going, riding the shock to boost my pivot.
[MONTUM SHIFT STACKED].
I was already on her side. Her pupils widened... too late.
“Bet you moan louder when you lose, huh? Should I pull your hair and find out?” I snarled. “No wonder Shigaraki left you out here. You are just the League’s tampon... soak up the ss, then get tossed.”
[RAGE BAIT ACTIVE]
Her face twisted. Her entire head jerked, sending her hair flaring like a fan of knives. I slid under the spray, dirt kicking up behind , bat scraping pavent. Then I launched.
I ca off the ground, bat high, montum boiling.
She tried to backpedal. Not fast enough.
I brought the bat down like a judge at an execution. Right on her knee.
CRACK.
She scread, fell sideways, hair coiling to catch her.
"Yeah, limp for , you third-rate lawn ornant."
She swung blind, blades spinning. I ducked again, rolled under a slash, ca up behind her.
“Thought you were gonna show your edge,” I hissed in her ear.
I stomped her heel, hard. She buckled. I ramd my knee into her side, then clubbed her lower back... twice.
She lashed out in every direction. I jumped, vaulting over her with a front-flip, landed square on her chest as she fell.
“Oof. Don’t worry,” I said, crouched over her, weight pressing down, “I saw sharper scissors in kindergarten craft class.”
She wheezed, still trying to move, twitching.
“Shh,” I whispered, tapping her forehead with the end of the bat. “Let it hurt. That is how you will rember .”
I quickly pulled out the sedatives Momo had whipped up, the good shit, not the sleepy tea packets, and jamd one into Slice’s neck. She hissed, then slumped. I cuffed her wrists, chained her ankles, threw a gag in her mouth for the hell of it. When I was done, she looked like the kind of discount dominatrix you would find in a red-light alley, waiting for a client that never showed up.
“You will make a good addition to Tartarus,” I muttered, patting her hair like a disobedient dog. “Try not to bleed on the cuffs. I heard inmates hate bleeding bitches.”
I stood, rolled my neck and turned. Smoke and broken beach chairs were everywhere. Toru was cutting through the grunts like a ghost with a vendetta... three already face-first in the sand, one trying to crawl, arm twisted in a direction joints weren’t built for.
Five more were coming in from the docks, probably backups. All muscle, no brain.
I grinned and picked up my bat.
“Let stack so montum, Toru.”
She gave a thumb-up.
I stepped onto the boardwalk and started walking. Casual. First guy spotted , tapped the one next to him, said sothing like “Hey, isn’t that Wildcard?”
[FEARMONGER ACTIVE]
His voice cracked halfway through my na.
"Fear , you crusty dickmops! Wildcard is here to rearrange your guts like IKEA furniture!" My voice cracked through the air like thunder laced with middle fingers.
[ARIA OF THE ARCANE TRIGGERED]
Three froze. One flinched so hard he dropped whatever glowing rock he had been holding like it was radioactive. Another reached for sothing at his hip, too slow.
I was already in front of him.
Bat t ribcage. Sounded like snapping a stale baguette.
He folded in half, vomited all over his boots, and crumpled. The guy next to him went for a swing. I ducked low, shoulder-rolled between his legs, ca up behind him and ramd my foot into his spine. He scread and tripped over his buddy’s twitching body.
The rest hesitated. That was their mistake.
[ENDLESS MONTUM 30%]
[MONTUM SHIFT BOOST APPLIED]
I spun into the group. Clubs, blades, gauntlets... they were all swinging. I was dodging, weaving, letting their panic drive them apart.
The air burst as I moved through it.
One guy lunged. I grabbed his wrist, turned it the wrong way, and used him like a flail to knock out the next one. The two behind him tried to double-team with coordinated strikes, one with a blaster-type Quirk, the other with so kind of vibrational kick.
I went low, drove the bat into Vibrator's shin. Heard a crack. He dropped, howling.
Blaster tried to retreat, shooting wild. One blast singed my sleeve, another missed wide.
I lobbed my bat at him. It hit his stomach, hard enough to throw him backward into a chair.
I jumped after it mid-air, caught it on the bounce, then slamd it down into his chest before he could get back up.
Toru jumped from my left... two fingers raised. Six bodies down in her zone. She turned, slipped behind a crate, gone again.
Izuku’s voice cracked through the comms and straight into my head like soone hit a kid with a gaphone and told him to panic.
“RYUU!”
I winced, ducking under a snapped power cable as it sparked.
“Bastard, either speak to comms or to . Not both.”
“S-sorry,” he stuttered ntally, then the actual comm buzzed. “Main Boss and one Mini Boss is here. We are engaging.”
I cursed under my breath. “Keep them. I am coming. Main Boss has six quirks. They are strong, but he can’t run all of them at once. Mini Boss is strong too. Waterworks, stall them. Do not engage.”
“Oh, o-okay,” Izuku mumbled over the link, and I shook my head, stepping over two groaning bodies still twitching on the sand.
“Toru,” I called out. “Deal with cleanup. I am moving.”
She gave an 'okay' sign, already pulling cuffs from a crate. Behind her, one of the half-conscious guys whimpered and tried crawling away. A wrap snapped tight around his neck.
Todoroki’s voice pinged in my head. “Bakugo left South Ridge. He is chasing the main boss. Tokoyami and I are holding one of the mini-bosses with about forty enemies.”
I stopped moving for a second. “Can you handle it?”
“Yeah.”
I tuned in on Bakugo’s location and flared the ntal link like a slap. “You detonate-happy hemorrhoid! You had one job… hold the goddamn line!”
“Shut up. I am taking that bastard down myself.”
This fucker...
