That was why she agreed to Mirian’s foolish idea of appeasing him with a table spread of delicious delicacies.

But now, as she stood here, waiting for Ryder to show up and wondering if he would even bother to co, Reana couldn’t help but think that maybe she had made a mistake. A big one. The doubt that had been creeping into her heart was starting to take hold, and she couldn’t shake the feeling that she had overreacted.

She thought back to the day she had punished Ryder, to the look on his face and the way he had walked away with deep sadness, a plea for forgiveness, and lastly, resignation. And her fist clenched and unclenched.

Her gaze drifted to the seat prepared for Ryder, thinking: He wouldn’t co. If she were in his shoes, she wouldn’t co either.

"Get them to clear the table," she said, her voice low and even, but with a hint of anger and frustration.

Mirian stood there for a while, her lips thinned. Then she bowed and turned to leave. But as she pulled the doors open, she was startled when Ryder’s familiar figure stood before her, a sly smile at the edge of his lips.

Mirian’s gaze raked him from head to toe, then toe to head.

His sunken cheek, the Dark circles...all felt like an illusion. They were totally nowhere to be found.

He looked ravishing!

His overgrown beard had been reduced to a moderate size, framing his sharp jawline and accentuating his piercing dark blue eyes.

His long ssy hair from earlier was neatly styled into half-up and half-down, with one loose braid running along his ear and falling over his shoulders.

He wasn’t wearing his servant uniform.

Ryder wore a cream-colored loose shirt with the straps on the chest opened, revealing a glimpse of his strong, toned chest.

He looked nothing short of a god!

Mirian’s breath caught in her throat, her eyes widened as she took in the sight of Ryder’s transford appearance. The changes were subtle yet striking, and they seed to bring out the best in him.

His eyes sparkled with a newfound intensity, and his smile seed to hold a hint of mischief. He looked confident, powerful, and utterly captivating.

Mirian felt a shiver run down her spine as Ryder’s gaze t hers, his eyes locking onto hers with an unmistakable intensity. For a mont, they just stared at each other, the air thick with tension and unspoken emotions.

Then, Ryder’s smile grew wider, and he took a step closer, his movents fluid and deliberate. "You’re red," he said, his voice low and husky, causing a pull in her heart. "My Luna won’t like your expression, Mirian."

He chuckled as her face grew a deeper shade of pink as she tried to catch herself. "Y– you’re talking nonsense." She retorted awkwardly and rushed out of the room.

"What are you still..." Reana’s words died on her tongue when Ryder stepped into the room and locked the door behind him.

This was her outer chamber.

Her pupils shook as she took in his new appearance. Unlike his previous humble, yet Mischievous self, Ryder now exuded an air of confidence and sophistication.

His eyes seed to gleam with a newfound intensity, and his smile was more refined, more calculated. Reana’s gaze lingered on his face, lost in his handsoness, the piercing darkness of his eyes, and the subtle curve of his lips. He looked... regal, almost.

The transformation was jarring, yet fascinating. Reana couldn’t help but wonder what had brought about this change in Ryder. What had sparked this newfound confidence, this sense of self-assurance?

Has he decided not to hide anymore, after revealing a part of himself to her?

"My Luna," he said calmly, pulling her back from her thoughts.

Reana blinked, her gaze refocusing on Ryder’s face. She didn’t notice when he ca to stand in front of her, watching her, his eyes calm and introspective, as if he knew exactly what she was thinking.

"You..." she swallowed, trying to sound casual despite the turmoil of emotions inside her.

He smiled subtly, but it seed to hold a hint of amusent. "I’ve been thinking," he said, his voice low and even. "About a lot of things."

Reana raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite herself. "Like what?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.

Ryder’s gaze locked on Reana’s face, then trailed down to her lips. "Like how I should punish you, my Luna," he said, his voice low and husky.

A flash of surprise crossed her cold eyes, and she felt a flush rise to her cheeks. She hadn’t expected Ryder to say sothing like that.

The air in the room seed to vibrate with tension, and Reana’s heart was racing with anticipation. She didn’t know what to say, or how to react.

Ryder’s gaze was still locked on hers, his eyes burning with intensity. It was as if he was daring her to deny her feelings, to pretend that she didn’t feel the sa way.

"We had unfinished business," he explained, his voice barely above a whisper. "And I think it’s ti we picked up where we left off."

Without giving her a mont to reply, he flashed before her, his arm wrapped around her waist in a swift motion as he pulled her in, locking lips with her.

Reana’s eyes widened in surprise as Ryder’s lips crashed down on hers. His kiss was intense, desperate, and all-consuming. Her mind went blank as she felt herself being swept up in the mont.

He’d kissed her before, but never like this - not so desperately, so unapologetically demanding. The masculinity in his behavior, the way he claid her, wrapped his arms so strongly and possessively around her waist made Reana feel small, reminding her that she was a she-wolf, who should long for a dominant male wolf worthy of her proud Luna wolf... An unbridled, powerful Alpha!

And Ryder was definitely filling that role. His dominant behavior, the way he took control and held her close, was like an instinctive call to Reana’s wolf, forcing her to wake up, to respond to the mighty power wanting to dominate her.

Reana felt it. Her wolf that had always stood as a dominant wolf was submitting of its own volition.
