"Perhaps,"

She finally said, her voice a little softer,

"it's ti Aerith sought out Avalanche. They're the only ones truly standing against Shinra. They might be able to help her. They certainly know how to hide and how to fight."

Arthur's interest was piqued. He knew about them, of course and there was soone he wanted to help change her fate as well.

He didn't want her to die. Much like what happened to Aerith.

"Avalanche? Are they here in Midgar?"

Elmyra nodded.

"They have a base, hidden deep in the Sector 7 slums. It will be a long, dangerous journey to get there. They're freedom fighters, Arthur, not always easy to trust, but they're fighting for the Planet. And they hate Shinra as much as we do."

She looked at Arthur.

"Will you take her, Arthur? Will you protect her on this journey to find them?"

Arthur didn't hesitate.

"Yes, I will."

The next morning as Arthur and Aerith prepared to leave Elmyra's cozy ho.

The delicious scent of stew still hung in the air, a comforting mory of their brief breakfast.

Elmyra stood by the doorway, her kind eyes still holding that watchful glint as she looked at Arthur.

"Be safe, both of you,"

Elmyra said, her voice soft but firm. She pulled Aerith into a tight hug, pressing a quick kiss to her hair.

"And Aerith, listen to him. He knows what he's doing."

She still had so suspicions about him but she understood him after she talked to him a little.

He was not soone from Shinra and seed to co here to help Aerith. She believed in Aerith power so when she heard about Arthur having the sa power she thought that Arthur might be like her.

She could trust him.

Aerith nodded, a determined look on her face.

"I will, Mom. Don't worry, we'll be fine."

She then turned to Arthur, her usual bright smile returning.

"Ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

They stepped out of the house and back into the winding, narrow paths of the Sector 5 slums. The air here was thicker, filled with the everyday sounds of the slums – distant chatter, the clanging of tal from makeshift workshops, and the faint, ever-present hum of the Mako reactors high above.

It was a stark contrast to the quiet calm of Elmyra's garden, but Arthur felt a different kind of calm settle over him. He had a clear goal, and he was with Aerith.

"So, where exactly is this 'Seventh Heaven'?"

Arthur asked, adjusting his stride to match Aerith's lighter steps. He knew about it in the ga but when it ca to reality. It was much harder than he had thought.

Aerith grinned, pointing towards a cluster of larger, more sturdy buildings in the distance, partially obscured by the tal plates that made up much of the slum architecture.

"It's in Sector 7, a bar called Seventh Heaven. It's a bit of a walk, but it's worth it"

Arthur raised an eyebrow.

"A bar, huh? Not exactly what I pictured for a rebel hideout."

Aerith giggled.

"That's the beauty of it! No one would ever suspect. It's just a normal bar on the outside."

She then paused, her expression becoming a little more serious.

"But the people there… They're good people. They fight for the Planet, just like you said you do."

Arthur nodded.

"Good. We'll need all the help we can get."

Their journey took them deeper into the maze-like passages of the slums. The path was not always easy. They navigated crumbling walkways, avoided overflowing pipes, and ducked under low-hanging wires.

Arthur, with his heightened senses, noticed the subtle shifts in the slum's atmosphere.

He could tell which areas were more heavily patrolled by Shinra guards, and which were safer, forgotten corners.

He kept Aerith close, subtly guiding her away from potential trouble spots.

He noticed the curious stares they sotis received. Arthur, with his unusual strength and quiet intensity, didn't quite fit in with the everyday residents of the slums.

Aerith, with her bright dress and innocent charm, drew attention too, but in a different, more familiar way.

He could sense the underlying hardship in the slums, the struggle for survival, but also a resilience, a sense of community that surprised him.

As they walked, Aerith continued to chatter, telling him stories about her life in the slums, about her flowers, and about the people she knew.

She pointed out landmarks: a particularly noisy children's playground, a small market stall selling fresh produce, a wall covered in colorful graffiti.

Arthur listened, absorbing every detail. It was a strange mix of everyday life and the constant threat of Shinra looming over them.

"We'll need to be careful when we cross into Sector 7,"

Aerith warned, her voice a little softer.

"There are usually more patrols around the border. Shinra likes to keep an eye on people moving between sectors."

Arthur tensed, his senses reaching out. He could feel the vibrations of approaching vehicles, the distinct tallic sll of Shinra equipnt, and the faint, disciplined rhythm of trained soldiers.

"Understood. Stay close to ."

They reached the unofficial border between Sector 5 and Sector 7, a narrow gap between two colossal, rusting pipes that served as a makeshift gate.

Sure enough, two Shinra guards stood watch, their uniforms crisp despite the gri of the slums.

"Hold on,"

Arthur whispered to Aerith, pulling her back behind a pile of discarded crates. He observed the guards. They seed bored, their attention wandering, but they were still a threat.

He quickly scanned the area for alternative routes. There was a higher path, a series of precarious tal scaffolding leading over the pipes, but it looked unstable.

"I have an idea,"

Arthur murmured. He picked up a loose, heavy tal bolt from the ground. With a precise, almost invisible flick of his wrist, he sent the bolt flying.

It sailed through the air, hitting a loose piece of corrugated tal sheeting on a nearby building with a loud CLANG.

The two Shinra guards imdiately snapped to attention, looking in the direction of the sound.

"What was that?"

One of them grumbled, adjusting his helt.

"Probably just so junk falling,"

The other replied, but he still sounded nervous. They both started to move towards the sound, their backs montarily turned to the gap.

"Now,"

Arthur said, taking Aerith's hand. They darted through the opening, moving swiftly and silently.

Arthur's large fra provided cover for Aerith as they slipped past the distracted guards, disappearing into the winding paths of Sector 7 before the guards even had a chance to realize they were gone.

"Phew! That was close!"

Aerith whispered, a thrill of excitent in her voice.

Arthur smiled.

"A little mystery, rember? Keep them guessing."

Sector 7 felt similar to Sector 5, but with a slightly more active, bustling feel.

The narrow alleys were filled with more people, more shops, and the aroma of various street foods mingled with the tallic tang of the city.

"Seventh Heaven is just up ahead,"

Aerith said, pointing towards a brightly lit corner.

"It's on the main street."

As they got closer, Arthur saw it: a two-story building with a warm, inviting glow spilling from its windows. A colorful sign, shaped like a cloud with a stylized "7" in the middle, hung above the door. It looked like a typical, friendly bar. He could hear the faint murmur of conversation and the clinking of glasses from inside.

"This is it,"

Aerith said, her voice filled with relief and a hint of excitent. She pushed open the door, and a wave of warm air, rich with the sll of beer and fried food, washed over them.

The inside of Seventh Heaven was lively. A few patrons were scattered at tables, chatting and laughing.

Behind a long wooden bar stood a woman with dark hair pulled back in a ponytail, her strong arms wiping down the counter.

She wore a tank top and a skirt, and her movents were quick and efficient.

Arthur's eyes lit up when he saw her… She was also one of his childhood crushes.

She was Tifa Lockheart…
