A loud sound followed as the beast girl stood up from under the rubble, she held her face and spit a small amount of blood then she turned towards Lilith.
"You survived that, you must be quite powerful" Lilith spoke with a smile on her face.
"You're also a beast, that explains it, I thought I got hit by a human, so what are you doing in the human capital, are you a slave?" The girl asked.
"Do I look like one" Lilith muttered looking at herself.
"Humans don't bode well with beastkin, we have a whole group, you can join your kind" the girl spoke.
"Join my kind, where was my kind when I was in need, where was my kind when I also died, and now you want to join you, after what you did to the capital, you're going to wish you didn't et " Lilith spoke.
"Xavier, I don't think we can join the fight, since your family is safe let's head back to the academy" Mia spoke.
"Head back, I'll take care of this" Lilith spoke and Xavier and Mia began running towards the direction of the academy.
"A sha, I would have loved you to join " the girl spoke as she bent down on all fours preparing to charge.
Lilith cracked her neck and instead of waiting back she charged forward too and both of them clashed.
As Lilith and the beast girl collided, the force of their impact sent a shockwave through the air, scattering dust and rubble around them. Their fists t mid-air, both bracing against the other's strength, neither one yielding an inch. The beast girl's sharp claws flashed as she aid for Lilith's face, but Lilith twisted her body, letting the claws miss by re inches. She retaliated with a sharp knee strike aid at the beast girl's stomach, but her opponent shifted just enough to deflect the blow with her forearm.
"You're fast," the beast girl growled, a smirk forming on her lips. She launched a flurry of rapid punches, each one directed at Lilith's torso and head. Lilith dodged and parried with expert precision, her movents fluid and controlled, as if predicting each strike before it ca. She ducked under a high punch and swung her elbow up in a sharp arc, connecting with the beast girl's jaw, forcing her head back.
The beast girl staggered, but only for a mont. She wiped a sar of blood from her lip, her eyes flashing with a fierce determination. Without a word, she lunged at Lilith again, this ti sweeping her legs low, aiming to knock her off balance. Lilith leaped just in ti, twisting in mid-air to deliver a powerful kick aid at the girl's side. The beast girl blocked with her arm, absorbing the impact but skidding back a few steps.
With a growl, she leapt forward again, closing the distance quickly. Lilith matched her speed, eting her head-on. Their fists and kicks t in a rapid exchange, each trying to outmaneuver the other. Lilith aid a punch at her opponent's shoulder, which the beast girl dodged, responding with a kick to Lilith's thigh that made her stumble briefly. Taking advantage of the mont, the beast girl aid a strike at Lilith's face, but Lilith caught her wrist, twisting her arm and forcing her back.
"You've got spirit," Lilith said, breathing hard.
"And you're a lot tougher than you look," the beast girl replied, wrenching her arm free.
They broke apart, both panting slightly but refusing to back down. The beast girl launched herself at Lilith again, coming in low and aiming to tackle her to the ground. Lilith countered by sidestepping and driving her elbow down on the beast girl's back. But the beast girl twisted at the last mont, managing to throw a punch that connected with Lilith's ribs. Lilith gritted her teeth, feeling the impact but refusing to slow down.
The fight beca a relentless cycle of strikes and counters. Lilith ducked under a swing from the beast girl and responded with a powerful uppercut, but the beast girl blocked and retaliated with a kick to Lilith's midsection, forcing her back. Lilith steadied herself, then charged forward with a series of quick jabs, each aid precisely. The beast girl deflected most but took a hit to her shoulder, grunting in pain.
Lilith pressed the attack, throwing a high kick aid at the girl's head. The beast girl leaned back, letting the kick sweep past her, then spun low with a sweeping leg kick that finally took Lilith off her feet.
Lilith hit the ground but rolled quickly, springing back up just in ti to block another punch aid at her head. She countered with a swift kick to the beast girl's knee, forcing her to stumble back montarily.
Both of them were just fighting with their hands and legs, Lilith had a sword on her waist but she just haven't used it, and now that she was done testing she took out the sword.
"Play ti is over" Lilith spoke.

"You didn't tell you knew a beastkin, have you ever trained with her?" Mia asked as both of them ran towards the academy.
"Once, she's really powerful, my dad found her when she was little and brought her to our mansion, I don't really tell people about her" Xavier replied.
"There's still sothing bothering , you know how the best girl said she's not producing an ounce of Mana so we can't sense her?"
"Yes, why is that bothering you?" Xavier asked.
"It ans she was suppressing her Mana, beastkin have little Mana, it's so tiny it can't even be sensed that's why they can't cast spells or use magic, but she was suppressing hers which ans..."
"She can use magic, but no beastkin can use magic except..."
"She's definitely not the nine tailed fox, why would she attack the capital, wait...when we t her she was heading towards the palace, she's not going for the queen right?" Mia muttered.
"Lilith, we should..."
"Don't think about it, we were going to die so minutes ago, you think if your beastkin can't defeat her then we can, we'll be kill without any effort" Mia shouted.
Xavier tried to think of sothing else but nothing was coming to his head, what Mia was saying was correct, if they go back and Lilith is dead, they would be next.
The gate was still being attacked but the dragon flying above the capital wasn't flying anymore so maybe it was brought down and besides the queen would have a squad of Royal knight guarding the palace, there's no way.
Xavier and Mia increased their pace running back to the academy when Mia noticed a shadow following them.
It was already too late as the shadow touch Xavier shoulder and imdiately Xavier reacted by drawing his sword and swinging it imdiately but the shadow backed away.
Just like the May which they fought in the academy this figure was also fully cloaked but he raised his hood revealing a face, it was a girl.
"I can sll May on you, where is she?" The girl asked.
"You are also one of the bastards attacking the capital right?" Xavier spoke.
"You are going to pay for all of this like May did, you demon" Mia mouthed.
"What did you say, you killed May, you..." The girl placed her hands on the ground and a portal appeared in front of her.
Both of them held their sword tightly as an orc stepped out of the portal holding a huge club and imdiately it set it's eyes on them it charged forward.
Xavier's [War Buff] was still active and he charged forward first.
He swung his sword, aiming for the orc's thick legs, but the creature blocked with its club, the impact rattling his grip.
Mia darted to the side, positioning herself to flank the orc. As the creature focused on Xavier, she seized the opening and slashed at its leg, her blade digging into its tough skin. The orc roared and swung its club at her, but she jumped back just in ti, the wind from the swing grazing her face.
Xavier took advantage of the orc's distraction, aiming a quick slash at its exposed side. His blade struck, leaving a deep cut.
Furious, the orc turned its attention back to him, swinging wildly. Xavier dodged, ducking under the club and delivering another swift slash to its arm, weakening its grip.
"Now, Mia!" he called out.
With Xavier drawing the orc's attention, Mia leaped in, striking the creature's back with a well-placed stab. The orc howled in pain, its strength faltering as it stumbled forward.
Xavier saw his chance and charged, landing a powerful strike to the orc's chest. The creature staggered, and Mia delivered the final blow, a quick slash across its neck, bringing it down.
Both of them turned back to the girl who was seated on the ground and smiling and as they looked she had drawn a magic circle around herself.
Xavier and Mia didn't charge because they had no idea what it was.
"My mark is already on your body, you will suffer far worse than May did" the girl spoke as the magic circle shone brightly and imdiately Xavier felt lightheaded and he could see his own body turning into pixel and fading away but he felt no pain till his body was erased.
