"Just like you're skipping but try to add Mana, you won't get it at first but after trying you'll get the hang of it, and then you can move to actual jumps"
"That makes sense, instead of trying big jumps, getting used to smaller jumps might be better in mastering the timing"

"So why do you want to visit the Crystal Tower? Do you have any specific reason or are you just curious"
"I just want to see what's there; it's a large crystal, right?" I asked.
"Yes, the largest, there was a ti when the city didn't have the barrier, well it wasn't a city then and it was getting attacked regularly by beasts"
"Yeah, I wish I was alive then, I would have been a great magic knight"
"We're all going to be great magic knights, but I wish I could see like a dragon; they're all extinct now," Clara spoke.
"Yeah, they were the strongest beast then, I wonder how they managed to go extinct"
"Dragons do love to attack anyone in their path so I'm sure they're always in one battle or another till they were wiped out, and I've heard so many things about dragons I don't know which to believe, so say dragons can talk, so say they can shapeshift into humans"
"There's no way to know for sure, but so elves have lived over 500 years; if we could see an elf, we'd probably know which was true," I spoke.
"That's right, I wish humans were like elves, living up to a thousand years and still looking 20; I heard elves don't change; you can't tell the difference between an elf of 100 years and 500 years by their face alone," Clara spoke.
"If humans could live up to that age, I think none of the other races would survive, only humans would be in the world by now"
"That's true, even though elves live long, humans in the world are ten tis the population of elves, more than ten, I'm sure; elves hardly give birth," Clara spoke.
I already read about it when I was little, though elves live longer than most creatures; a single female elf can live for 1000 years without birthing a single child; so get lucky and give birth early on and don't give birth again for the rest of their long life.
Next were demons who could also live for about 500 to 700 years old.
But humans, a single human can give birth to 5 children before the age of 50, and again, humans can procreate with any species, but in this world, they were nothing like half-elves or quarter-elves, a human sleeping with an elf would never result in a baby.
I had no idea why it was like that in this world but I've read it in history books and other books, so I'm sure many people have put it to the test, sleeping with elves just to test it, imagine having the chance to cum inside all you want and never have to worry about a baby.
Wait... I've been doing that since; I've been cumming inside all the girls I've been with without a single thought; what if I get one of them pregnant or two at once.
"We're here," Clara spoke, and I looked up.
The door was open, and both of us walked in; the tower had a spiral staircase that led upwards.
As Clara and I climbed the stairs of the tower, the air seed to buzz with energy; even though I hadn't mastered Mana perception, I could still feel the mana radiating; with each step, I knew we were getting closer to sothing powerful. The stairs spiraled up, and it felt like they would never end.
When we reached the top and opened another door, the room opened up into a large space. In the middle, there was a giant crystal glowing with a soft blue light. It floated, and its light filled the whole room.
There was no one there; what if it was an attack? We could easily destroy the crystal right now with no one looking, but the crystal was amazing, I wonder what kind it was to be able to create a barrier for the whole kingdom.
Now I knew it was a bad idea to co here if I tampered with the crystal; soone was going to find out, and I'm sure Clara and I were the only ones visiting the tower today.
We walked forward, and from here, we could see the entire city; I could see the lower and upper districts, and I saw the top floor and roof of my house; even the Royal palace was visible from here.
It was beautiful, till I heard a voice and imdiately turned around.
"A male" the voice spoke.
I turned around and saw a girl behind us, she had black hair tied up in a ponytail and wore glasses, and she looked to be in her early twenties and pretty cute.
"Hi Clara" the girl spoke as she turned towards Clara.
"Mag, I thought you were away like the rest of the third-year students; why are you in the towering crystal?" Clara asked.
"Apparently I'm not fit to follow orders, I was taken to a village right at the edge that always gets attacked, and I was on watch duty, so I saw a group of orcs"
"And you went after them and didn't tell anyone, but you still defeated them, and you were sent back," Clara answered.
"That's how the story goes, but it wasn't the first ti; it was the fifth ti or so. I was sent back here as punishnt, and I'm still going to face more punishnt," She spoke.
"You're going to face punishnt for seeing a group of beasts and defeating them?" I asked.
"We were given orders not to, but I was bored with sitting on a wall all day and doing nothing but a bunch of girls and old n, though there's a young guy there, he's married, and we were told to stay away from him" She answered.
What I had in my head was different; from her appearance, I thought she was a gentle reading type of girl; her appearance and personality are two different things entirely, just like Clara.
"So Clara is he your boyfriend? What's your na?"
"What! He's my roommate" Clara spoke imdiately.
"I'm Xavier, nice to et you" I spoke.
"Xavier, I'm Mag...so what brings you to the crystal tower, is it the view?" Mag asked.
"I've just never been here, and I'm looking around in the academy"
"The academy is boring, but it gets less boring once the duels start, and then the tournant; I still can't believe I didn't win the tournant all 2 years in the academy," Mag spoke.
"What! You didn't win...wait I don't understand, there's soone stronger than you among your mates? Who is it?" Clara asked.
Since Clara asked her this question, I didn't need to be told she was extrely powerful, but I couldn't feel an ounce of strength from her.
"During my first year, I finished second in the tournant, and then my second year we had two tournants where I finished third in both of them, but I think this year is going to be different"
With the two of them talking, I walked towards the crystal; with Mag here, I'm sure nothing would happen.
[Arcane Siphon]
As I activated the ability and moved my hands toward the crystal, I imdiately felt my entire body heavy. I couldn't breathe, and my chest was burning.
I held my chest and tried not to make a sound, but it all stopped the next mont, and the screen ca on.
[ 30 Mana]
[ 30 Mana absorbed]
[Mana: 50/50]
[Mana Stats reached the max]
[Do you want to break through to Mana Stage 4]
I stared at the screen for so seconds, so 50 was my max Mana for level 3, and I can breakthrough right now without needing training or anything, but before I could answer the door was pushed open and a lady walked in.
"What the hell happened?" She asked and we all turned towards her.
"What happened?" Mag asked imdiately.
"A part of the city barrier suddenly tore open; we think there's an attack, but they're not attacking; the whole city is on alert. We need to close the barrier and start infusing Mana now," She shouted.
Shit...I knew sothing would happen, but I didn't think I could tear a hole through the city barrier; I'm never trying this again, never...but on the bright side, my Mana is at 50.
Breaking through needs intense training, well not when you have the system; the trouble I caused quickly died down, and it wasn't tied to because I was seen as incapable, and Mag was there, so Clara and I weren't suspect.
We returned to the dorm area and went to the training ground where Clara began teaching about wind magic and the basics.
She was good at it, and with my improved Mana level, I was able to stir the wind a little; I couldn't cast the most basic spell, but it was okay, and this night I was going to break through.
