A few years later
"Young master, it's ti for your lesson" Anna spoke as she knocked on my door.
"Give a minute," I said as I stood up from my bed.
Well, few years have gone by with many things happening, so good and so bad, and in case you are wondering, I'm currently ten years old and tomorrow is the day I'll be taken to the magic academy to see if I have a high aptitude to Mana or not.
But before that, it's ti for my sword lesson with my dad, I've learned quite so things about this new world that I'm in.
First, the power balance is insane, females are naturally stronger than males, except few males who are from respected families of warriors and so of royal blood, and almost no male commoner makes it into the magic academy.
Secondly, the female population triumphs over the male population, almost 90% of the world population are females, that's why most of our guards and staff are females.
Since males were hard to co by and females were stronger, any males that wish to join the magic academy must have either one of these, they must be extrely strong, have a promising future, co from the royal family, or have a rare bloodline technique or rare elent.
So most males prefer to do nothing because there are tons of females who would do everything just to get them.
But I'm not like most males, since I've been reincarnated in this world I would try everything I can, including going to the magic academy, I'm receiving sword training from my dad which I would say it's promising, and I'm learning quickly, maybe that's because I did a little fencing in school.
I have lots of things to tell you but it'll have to wait cause I'm currently in front of my dad who already had his wooden sword in his hand.
"Are you ready?" My dad asked.
"I'm ready" I replied as I clenched my wooden sword tightly, the aim of the duel is to deal a hit to a vital part enough to kill your opponent.
My dad currently has a winning streak, that's not surprising since he's a master swordsman.
"Take a stance and attack" my dad spoke.
"Okay, here I co"
I dashed towards my dad with all the speed I could muster, the duels usually involve my dad defending himself for the first minute then after that, he'll go on the offensive and I'll be on the defensive, and so on.
So I've never survived after two minutes, anyti he goes on the offensive, I usually take a hit or two that could end my life if it was a real fight but this ti I'm determined to win.
As soon as my dad was in range I swung my wooden sword with all the strength I could muster towards his waist, my dad imdiately parried my attack by bringing his sword down.
My plan was to keep all my attacks low then when he wasn't expecting it, I'd strike his neck.
After he parried my attack I imdiately unleashed a barrage of attacks, aiming at random spots below his waist but he had no trouble blocking all my attacks but that was the plan.
'55...56...57...58...59...now'
It was almost a minute so it was ti for my dad to go on the offensive but that's when I made my move, I quickly swung my sword towards his lap and placed one of my legs forward, my dad blocked the attack with relative ease and then I took a quick spin.
I turned around imdiately bringing my sword with as I aid at the other part of his neck.
'Got you' I mumbled with joy but before my sword could reach his neck, his sword was already there to block the attack.
"What!!" I shouted and imdiately my dad went on the offensive.
I managed to stop three of his strikes before he landed a hit on my leg and then my stomach.
"This isn't fair, you are too strong, I want to train with soone like " I muttered.
"Of course I'm strong, but I'm as strong as soone in your level, what did I tell you about sword fighting"
"Study your opponent" I answered.
"That's why I tid out fights in minutes, when facing an opponent who you know nothing about, the first step to defeating your opponent is to study him, find out his strength, his weakness, what he does constantly, the power behind his slashes, and his bad habit then take a step back, create room and then think of a plan taking all his strength and weakness into consideration then attack"
"I know about this but you are too powerful, you don't have any weakness, your speed is on another level and you are the head of the military in Avalon, if our enemies who are master swordsn and powerful beasts can't touch you then what chance do I have" I spoke.
"But I think you are improving, when we started a year ago I wasn't even using 1% of my powers but now I'm at 30%, that's how much you've improved in a year" my dad spoke.
"I'm going to surpass you"
"That's the spirit, another round," my dad said and imdiately I charged forward.

"Ha...that hit the spot" I mumbled as I dipped myself in a hot bath, after training I usually wash my body before heading to my room where I read or do other stuff.
"Is the temperature okay?" Anna asked as she touched the water.
"It's fine thanks"
"I'll be outside if you need anything," Anna said as she stepped out of the bathroom.
Anna is my attendant and has been since I was little, back then she was four years old so now that I'm ten, she's currently fourteen years old and I must say she's really beautiful, but in this world, I'm currently underage so I can't have any fun.
But 8 years isn't a long ti, I can do it, oh I told you I have a lot of things to say about this world, let's get to it.
