We finally stopped, and all the students were breathing heavily; half of the students were on the ground while the other half had their hands on their knees to keep balance.
"Good, it seems you are now awake; today, we start with the basics; pick a sword," Sofia said firmly as all the students stood up and picked up wooden swords.
"Your stance, footwork, grip, and simple strikes. These are the foundations of swordsmanship. If you don't get these right, nothing else will matter."
She demonstrated the basic stance first. Her feet were shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. She stood tall, but her weight was balanced.
"Your feet need to be steady but ready to move at any mont," she explained. "Your knees should be relaxed, not locked. This gives you flexibility, spread out"
Sofia motioned for the students to copy her, so adjusted quickly, while others shifted uncomfortably, trying to find balance.
"Good," she said, walking through the line, correcting anyone who wasn't quite right. "Now, your grip."
She held the wooden sword in both hands, showing them how her fingers wrapped around the hilt. "Your grip should be firm, but not too tight. If you're squeezing the sword too hard, you'll lose control and tire yourself out. Think of it like holding a bird—firm enough so it doesn't fly away, but gentle enough not to crush it."
The students adjusted their hands, following her lead. Sofia nodded in approval.
Next ca footwork. "Footwork is everything," she said. "It's how you control distance, how you move in and out of range without losing balance." She demonstrated by stepping forward and back, keeping her stance solid the entire ti.
"Always step with your front foot first when advancing, and your back foot first when retreating. Never cross your feet, or you'll trip yourself up."
I knew everything she was talking about perfectly, and I'm sure all the swordsn knew, too; this was the basic foundation of swordsmanship, but all the mage students were following Sofia.
The students mimicked her movents, stepping forward and back. At first, it looked awkward, but as they repeated it, they began to find their rhythm.
Finally, Sofia showed them the basic strike. She raised the wooden sword above her head, then brought it down in a smooth, controlled arc. "This is a simple overhead strike," she said. "Don't swing wildly. Keep control. Your sword is an extension of your arm.
The sound of wood cutting through the air filled the training ground as the students all continued practicing.
Sofia watched all the students closely, and she could tell the swordsn were just playing.
Instead of an overhead strike, I was trying to learn a thrust, moving forward and backward as I did in fencing and poking the air with my sword.
The training continued for 30 minutes, by which ti all the students were already tired; most of them couldn't raise the sword above their heads again and were just swinging.
I had already stopped, and since I was at the back, I hid behind two students so Sofia wouldn't see slacking off.
"Alright, that's all for now; we'll resu training when the sun cos up," Sofia spoke as she walked away.
I quickly returned my wooden sword to the rack, and so did all the students; after that training, what I needed was a bath, and all the other students seed to have the sa idea.
I saw Freya walking back, I stopped and quickly joined her since she was walking alone.
"What's wrong?" I spoke as she was muttering to herself.
"Oh, Xavier, Hi" she spoke, "There's nothing wrong, how are you doing"
"Fine, I think you'll have to show the secret place you found" I muttered in a low voice.
"This night?" Freya spoke in a loud voice, and so of the girls around us turned around, and she quickly closed her mouth.
"Yes, I can teach you so sword moves" I spoke.
Freya leaned in and whispered, "Are you serious about tonight"
"Yes, I have nothing else planned, and besides I have so things to ask you"
"Okay, when you're ready where should we et, there isn't a rule about staying up all night in the academy"
"Let's et in the dining hall," I spoke as we started climbing the stairs.
"Okay" Freya said and stopped at the second room, and I continued.
First, I had to take a bath, and then after Freya, I'd have to move things along with Mary since her skill would also be a trump card that I'd keep till I really needed it.
Using a skill like the one Mary used would definitely get people talking, and I have no idea how Mary mastered a skill like that, so there'll be a lot of suspicion if I use it.
I stepped inside the room, and all the girls were already in; I opened my bag and brought out a new pair of clothes since this one was dirty from morning training and exited the door.
I could see lots of the girls heading into the bath, and that was exactly where I was going. To be honest, I had been looking forward to this since yesterday.
And just before I opened the door, the system screen ca up stopping in my tracks.
[Ding!]
[Quest: Have a Threeso ]
[Reward: 1000 Lust points]
[Penalty: ------]
[Tir: 24 hours]
Threeso before the end of the day for 1000 lust points and no penalty, aning I could ignore the quest if I wanted.
Even if I wanted a threeso, who should I have it with? The girls would...I stopped as soon as I opened the door of the bathroom.
What should I say? It was like I stumbled upon dreamland; so of the girls were already out of the bath, but the majority of them were still in the bath, and it was heavenly.
My eyes first went to three of the girls who were currently cleaning their bodies with their asses facing my direction, one of the girls bent down to clean her legs, and my eyes beheld her glory hole.
