Xavier appeared behind the fla knight, his silver sword slashing down fast.
*CLANG!!*
Sparks flew as his blade clashed against the knight's flaming armor, but it barely left a scratch.
The knight twisted its head unnaturally, a glowing red visor locking onto Xavier.
Without warning, its gauntlet ignited, and it swung a blazing fist at him. Xavier barely dodged, feeling the heat scorch past his cheek as he retreated with a burst of speed.
The elf raised her staff, summoning jagged spikes of earth from the ground that shot toward the knight. They struck its armor but lted instantly as flas burst from the knight's body.
"Earth won't work! Its flas are too strong!" she shouted.
Xavier narrowed his eyes. "Then I'll have to test its limits. Cover !"
He dashed in again, this ti he coated his sword with Mana and attacked.
His sword spun rapidly in his hands, glowing slightly as he slashed at the knight's chest.
The pressure knocked the knight back a step, but the armor barely dented.
Suddenly, the knight raised both hands, summoning a massive wave of fire that roared toward both of them.
Xavier had no way of dodging the flas so he just dashed towards the elf.
"Damn it!" the elf yelled, slamming her hands to the floor.
A stone do ford around just in ti, but the heat was unbearable. The rocks began to crack under the pressure.
"We can't stay in here!" Xavier growled, feeling his skin sting from the heat. Experience tales at empire
The do shattered, and the fla knight was already charging through the smoke, Xavier dashed towards the knight as he didn't want it to get close to the elf.
The knight swung a fist towards Xavier but instead of dodging Xavier raised his sword to block but was sent flying backward from the sheer impact, crashing into the stone floor with a grunt.
"Human" the elf spoke as she stretched her hands healing any wound he might have gotten.
The knight didn't wait instead it raised it's hands high, and a blazing pillar of fire erupted from the floor beneath them.
Xavier rolled away from the spot he was while the elf used a spell to do the sa, both of them escaping the fla.
"We're getting nowhere," Xavier shouted.
The elf nodded, gritting her teeth. "We need a plan. That core... the helt, we need to find another way"
Xavier's eyes narrowed. "Alright I'll draw its attention. Hit the helt with your strongest spell when you get an opening."
"How would you create an opening when..." The elf wasn't done when Xavier charged forward, his plan wa simple he was just going to attack so the knight focus on him then the elf would strike.
The elf raised her staff up and a stone ford in front of her but this ti Instead of just hurling it towards the knight she refined it, made it into a sharp spike and continued refining it while Xavier was getting attacked.
Xavier wasn't even trying, he just focused on dodging as he saw the elf preparing a spell and the knight didn't cast more flashy spells just fireball which Xavier dodged.
"I'm ready, get away" the elf shouted and as Xavier was getting away the knight raised it left hand and covered it's head as the elf released her spell.
The stone spike had been refined till it was packing extra damage as it shot towards the knight head which was now covered with its left hand.
Suddenly fla burst out from the knights body engulfing it's entire body as the spike hit and sent the knight flying.
"Woah!!" Xavier muttered as the knight landed a few feet away but instead of losing it head, it left hand was on the ground as the knight stood up again.
Xavier looked at the others and it seems they were having the sa problem, the elental knights was just too much for two people to handle.
"We're not giving up," Xavier muttered, stepping forward as the knight stood up.
This ti Instead of attacking first the knight's entire body burst into fla, like a fla cloak like the one May did when she attacked them.
Xavier dashed forward nonetheless, his sword ca down in a slash; it exploded in sparks as it hit the fla knight's burning armor.
The flas pulsed brighter, forcing him back as great waves of heat that rippled the air, the knight didn't need to attack Xavier retreated on his own.
The fla knight remained still, towering in fire, its crimson visor glowing beneath its helm.
The knight raised it right hand and he could tell this was going to be a big one, but then he rembered.

Xavier used his skill and the knight's spell stopped as a smile ford on his face, he thought it wouldn't work since the knight was far stronger than him.
The elf didn't join the battle and just stood still so Xavier knew she was preparing sothing but the next mont she began dashing forward.
"Hey elf, why the hell are you coming forward?" Xavier asked.
"Instead of attacking like this, let's attack together, that way one of us would at least get a strike in, and we have to keep going for the neck, that way we'll be damaging the sa spot since the knight isn't going down" the elf spoke as Xavier stood close to her.
"Alright"
"Also, what did you do when the knight wanted to cast a spell, did you stop it or did it stopped by it..." The elf stopped as a huge fireball was shot towards them.
"Don't move" the elf spoke as she placed her hands on the ground and a part of the ground was divided and that part moved further down creating a huge creater as the fireball swooshed past them.
"Let's go" Xavier spoke as he jumped out of the space and dashed towards the knight.
The only reason he could charge in fearlessly was because the knight was slower than he was.
