Ethan stepped outside the dorm, and it was already morning; though the sun wasn’t out yet, the sky was already turning bright.
Ethan hadn’t eaten anything since he ca to the dorm. The last ti he ate was in the morning, and now he was starving as he made his way to the dining hall.
Even though food wouldn’t be ready yet, he was going to eat whatever they had.
The door to the dining hall was already opened, and Ethan stepped inside; the chefs were already there, and Beatrix was seated in front of the counter when she saw Ethan.
"Ethan!" She spoke imdiately as he walked towards her.
"Hi Beatrix, how have you been?" Ethan asked.
"I heard you were injured. Your hands? Are they okay?" She asked with a concerning voice.
"I’m fine now, I’ve had almost a week to heal, I’m really hungry, can you find sothing for to eat, anything at all" Ethan spoke.
"We already prepared a al; the tournant is starting today, so we were told to prepare a light al for the students. Are you part of the tournant?" Beatrix asked.
"No"
"Oh, then I can give you more; fetch two plates." Beatrix pointed to the plates, and Ethan brought two; Beatrix collected the plates and served Ethan, which he quickly collected and sat at the table to devour.
It didn’t take 5 minutes for Ethan to be done and bring the plates back.
"Thanks for the al"
"It’s no problem, I don’t know if I can ask a favor?"
"Of course, what do you need?" Ethan asked.
"It’s been a long ti since we...you know, saw each other; I was thinking maybe...if you’re not busy, maybe..."
"This night, stay back," Ethan muttered, and a smile ford on Beatrix’s face as Ethan left the dining hall.
As Ethan made his way back to the dorm, all the girls were making their way out, and they saw Ethan.
"You’re back" a girl spoke as soon as she saw Ethan.
"Yes, I’m back, I’m fine now, thank you for asking," Ethan said with a smile, and once he did, all the girls began asking about his hands and how he was doing till he was bumd out.
His roommates were the last to co down, and all the students were already heading to eat and then to the training ground for the tournant.
"How are you, girls? You were sleeping so soundly I didn’t want to wake you up," Ethan spoke with a smirk on his face as he walked past them.
Crystal was so shy she looked away while Isabella had a smile on her face and Hannah was lost in her thoughts about the events of yesterday.
Ethan quickly ran up so he could take his bath and go see the girls’ tournant. He wouldn’t want to miss anything, and he t Edith on the stairs.
"Edith, Hey"
"Ethan, are you alright?" Edith asked imdiately.
"I’m fine, my hands are okay now, how are you? You’re going for the tournant, right?"
"Yes, when did you return?" Edith asked.
Ethan knew if he told her he returned earlier yesterday she would be angry he didn’t co to see her.
"Yesterday evening, I was so tired I just slept; I didn’t even get to eat," Ethan spoke.
"Okay, I’m glad you’re feeling better; you’re coming to watch the tournant, right?"
"Yes, I’m just going to take my bath"
"I’ll see you" Edith spoke.
’Phew’ Ethan muttered as he walked towards his room.
(So what’s the plan of the day?)
’I knew this peace wouldn’t continue without hearing you in my head, I thought you took a break’
(Nah, I just wanted you to have a little ti to yourself)
’And what happened to that?’
(I got bored watching you, and a reminder don’t forget you have an egg that needs to be heated, if it doesn’t get heated every day, you might lose it)
’I know, I was planning to now that the girls are gone,’ Ethan muttered as he stepped inside his room; the room had been arranged and restored to its previous state with all the beds in place.
(The girls really went all out yesterday, I was so shocked I couldn’t speak, and then you made a bad joke, if it wasn’t a joke I would have strangled you to death)
’And how would you do that, [Storage ring]’
Ethan opened his storage ring and brought out the egg, which he placed well on the ground and sat close to it; he also brought out his sword.
(You’re not holding your sword)
’I know, I want to see how long I can maintain my flas before running out of Mana, just in case’ Ethan placed his hands on the egg and [ignite].
Ethan had his hands on the egg for about 25 minutes before he finally ran out of juice and had to hold his sword for so minutes and then continue; since the girls were going to eat first before heading to the tournant, he had so ti to spare.
(I’m sure Freya’s sister would be present in the tournant)

’I’ll have to buy all the fla spells right?’

After about an hour or so, Ethan finally went to take his bath. The bathroom was empty since all the students were gone, and after he was done, he proceeded to the training ground, and the tournant hadn’t even started since the academy heads hadn’t arrived.
All the students were gathered in the training area while the instructors and so people who Ethan didn’t know were in the stands waiting.
Ethan found his way to the stands and sat at a corner so he wouldn’t be seen, and finally, the three of them arrived.
