Ethan walked towards her closing the distance till he was right in front of her, then he hugged her and whispered in her ears, "I’ll miss you, but be ready for when I’m back"
Ethan kissed her and then stepped away when he saw Hannah’s face; he also had to kiss her and then Crystal.
"I also forgot, Hannah, can you mark ? I know you said you can’t mark soone, but can you try?" Ethan asked.
"That’s right, that way you can visit us at night even when you’re away; that’s a great idea," Isabella spoke imdiately, and they all turned towards Hannah.
"I didn’t say I can’t mark; I just don’t have any experience with it, so it’s most likely going to hurt. Should I still mark you?" Hannah asked.
"Yes, I don’t mind, mark my shoulder," Ethan spoke, and Hannah placed his hands on his shoulder and closed her eyes.
"Ouch..." Ethan grunted as a sharp burning pain pierced his shoulder.
"I’m sorry, I’m not that good at it because I haven’t done it on a human before" Hannah spoke as she backed away.
"So we can visit you anyti right?" Isabella asked.
"No, only when I call for you by infusing Mana, and only Hannah should co. Then she’ll bring back, only Hannah," Ethan spoke again, looking at Isabella.
"Fine"
"Alright, I’m leaving, I’ll see you girls later, and if anyone asks just tell them I had a personal problem and the academy gave a leave to deal with it"
"Okay, bye," the girls said, waving him goodbye as he left in a regular outfit that he had.
Edith saw Ethan leaving in a different outfit, but he was already far gone before she spotted him, so she couldn’t call or chase after him till Ethan was out of sight.
(We haven’t seen any of the second-year or third-year students before, just the thought of what you’re going to do to them is sending chills down my spine)

Ethan arrived at Maria’s office and knocked before pushing the door open, where he was t with another different lady along with Maria and Dora, both were now dressed differently in more casual and tight-fitted clothes.
"Just to be clear, when we get there, don’t get on anyone’s bad side, so you don’t get beaten, and I won’t stop anyone from beating you up," Maria muttered.
"It’ll be fun to duel a third-year student," Ethan replied with a smile.
"Fun...you have no idea how strong they are, right? I’m sure you’ve never seen them dueling with each other," the lady spoke.
"I rember when I was a third-year student, it was really fun, and almost everyone was stronger than since I’m a healer," Dora muttered.
"Get ready, we’re leaving," Maria said to the lady; she was the one going to teleport them to the marked spot.
The three of them stood close to each other inside Maria’s office, and the lady placed both of her hands on the ground in front of them, and a magic circle began constructing itself out of mana, and soon it was done.
’Another type of teleportation, sweet’ Ethan muttered.
"Okay, it’s ready, hope you didn’t forget anything?" The lady asked.
"We good, let’s go," Maria replied, and a bright light shone, transporting them out of the academy.
The three of them appeared in a deserted village with broken houses and trees surrounding the village, but one of the houses was well-made with the roof completely covered and a girl standing outside.
Imdiately they made the jump, she started walking towards them. It was night, so Ethan couldn’t see her face clearly, but she didn’t attack them on sight, aning she knew who they were.
"Miss Maria, Miss Dora, welco," the girl spoke cheerfully.
"Cath, is that you? It’s been a long ti," Dora spoke with a smile while Maria walked towards the direction of the cave.
"I didn’t know you were coming; I thought it was just Miss Maria and maybe soone from the research departnt," Cath replied.
"I wanted to be the first, and the crystal I saw was fascinating, so I had to co; what about the others?"
"Only four students stayed with our instructor; the rest continued; it would be a waste for all the students to remain here, so only four of us were selected," Cath spoke and finally turned her eyes towards Ethan.
"A male...what is he doing here? We aren’t supposed to be having fun" Cath muttered.
"He was brought by Miss Maria; he’s from the academy," Dora muttered.
"From the academy... academy, wait, he’s a mage, hahaha, that’s really funny," Cath chuckled and turned back to Dora.
"I’m serious"
"Hi, I’m Ethan. Nice to et you." Ethan stretched his hands to shake her when she swung her fists towards him.
’What the...’
Ethan couldn’t dodge fast enough or block as her fist made contact with his face.
