Maze
Lilith nods, moving to the bed as Magoth leaves the tent. She pulls out a pouch, taking out a small mirror. She waves to the entrance, the windows and closet. Not taking any chances it seems. Then she says sothing to the mirror and a second later she smiles. This one is real and warm.
"He has found so strange girl in the woods, but he refuses to tell her na. I am afraid I’ll have competition from now on."
"And how’s everything else?" Willow’s voice sounds from the mirror.
"I am using my gift when he brings to his bed or takes mine. I would never betray Jasper’s mory with soone so disgusting. Besides, he says he has a special task for tomorrow. I might have to take a few days before I check in again. He is focused on your nephew, and he wants him dead."
"Good, keep an eye out and be careful, Lilith. We don’t want to lose you." Lilith’s mirror darkens and she puts it away.
Lillith is standing in a campsite of so sort. The guard just told her she can go into the tent she is standing outside.
"Excuse the late hour, dear Master. I have news of the Alpha King." Another smug side eye to the brat. "He has a second chance mate with him. She ca a few days ago."
"So, why are you just coming now then?" Mira screams while throwing her glass of water on the ground. It smashes and Master sighs.
"Ignore her, Lilith my sweet. She is sensitive. He has a new mate?" I smirk at Mira, who is almost vibrating with anger and jealousy.
"I am sorry, Master’s mistress, but I wanted to be sure they accepted each other. They seed very hostile at first, but now. She is growing on him, and he has accepted her. It is clear the Alpha is very smitten. She is a gorgeous woman. But she is not a deford dog. She is shifter for sure, but I am not certain which kind." Master smiles, his eyes are warm with appreciation and my stomach does a backflip.
"He cannot have another mate. Why would Selene give him that? I am not dead." Master rolls his eyes.
"Now you are stupid, Mira. She of course gave him a second chance because you actually did die, and as did your wolf. Rember?" Master’s voice is impatient, and I am gloating in silence.
"How do we know she is not lying just to turn you against , Magoth?" Mira asks, pointing an accusing finger at .
Lilith is standing outside a room listening to what is being said inside. She cringes and hurries back to her room. She calls Willow and warns her that sothing big is going to go down.
"There’s a new player in the ga. A woman. I don’t know her na yet."
"And Mira?"
"Still fucking things up on her own, but I help where I can."
"You’re enjoying this, Lilith." Willow laughs.
"They are the reason my mate is dead. I will see them all dead and laugh over their bodies when that happens. Yes, I am enjoying being a monuntal pain in her ass. She has been moping ever since she had that run in with Amber."
"Great, keep at it. And we need a woman’s na." Lilith nods before lowering the mirror.
"I will avenge you, my love! Even if it’s the last thing I do, I will avenge you and protect your family. I promise on our matebond. I’m sorry I couldn’t save you, Jasper."
Another odd feeling and we’re back in the conference room.
"Does that answer your questions, nephew?" Uncle Jax asks, and I shrug.
"Mostly." I answer, as Lillith starts spilling what she knows about Narine’s plans and what she and Magoth are coming up with together. She says she told Mira she was going back to the underworld to get more information on Narine, and she expects her to tell Magoth as much. He will be furious until he discovers she did no such thing. She got the upper hand on Narine instead. Sothing Magoth will think he can use to his own advantage.
"I am going to fucking kill that bitch this ti around." Willow says with venom in her voice. "She is not going to co back."
"Which one of the bitches?" Kiara asks with a sarcastic undertone making the room laugh. "Both ca fucking back, and both deserves to die slowly and painfully." Willow looks at Kiara.
"We’ll get them together, sweetheart." She says, looking at Kiara with curiosity now. Then she concentrates and cocks her head to the side.
"What?" Kiara asks, clearly confused.
"I can’t read your thoughts. That is so strange." My aunt says with a small pout. Jax rolls his eyes and reminds her of the task at hand, as I ask my parents if they will please bring us so lunch here. They need to hear this as well.
