[Mass Released]

The person peeking was none other than Rose herself. She had just wanted to go to the upper balcony for so fresh air but was shocked when she saw this.

"This is so fast. Have they done it already?" she said, disbelief in her eyes.

Her mind was spinning, and it felt like her brain cells were slowing down.

"They just officially beca friends this afternoon, and now they’re already partners?" Rose said to herself as she stood in the hallway.

"Tsk, tsk," Rose muttered as she shook her head.

"Kids these days are really so active, they’re making this old woman envy," she said as she passed through the hallway.

The next morning arrived, and Jeff had gathered about $3,421, which had already multiplied. He then headed to school as classes began.

He was crawling behind the crates, tapping the scope as he stood up straight. Then, an enemy appeared. He clicked the fire button, and the bullet flew, landing a headshot.

[Blue Team Win]

"Oh yeah!" Mark, Lester, Noel, and Jeff yelped in victory.

"Mga Bobo!" Noel trash talked the other team.

(Mga Bobo = All Noob)

The opposing team consisted of four classmates which is Ryan, Villar, Edrey, and Ruel.

Two of them were Jeff’s research mbers, and to pass the ti, they decided to have a 4v4 match.

Hearing the trash talk, Ryan stood up with a disgusted look, "Said by the noob himself, who’s standing at 0/9/2. Bro, are you playing or just sightseeing?"

Noel hearing this was unfazed by Ryan’s jab, "Sightseeing? Nah, I’m just giving your team a chance to feel useful. And you’re welco, by the way." He chuckled loudly.

Ryan scoffed at his arrogant look, "So you’re useful for that reason? Bro, if feeding the enemy was a job, you’d already be Employee of the Month!"

"Employee of the Month? Bro, the only thing you’ve been working on is perfecting the art of being carried. Without your teammates, you’re just walking loot!" Noel shot back, bursting out in laughter,

"You play like WiFi, looks fine on the surface, but lags when it matters!" he added.

Ryan hearing was even more angry as he shot back.

"What kind of brain-dead dicine have you eaten? Are you blind or sothing? Why don’t you take a look at my score if I’m taking loot?" He showed his phone screen, and they all saw his standing.

1st place on the red team with 16/7/3. literally carrying his whole team. But Noel? He didn’t care at all.

"So what? Score doesn’t matter if you lose, haha," Noel pointed at him, making fun of Ryan.

Ryan’s fist clenched, rock hard like Geodude, who’s hard as a rock, cause a rock type pokemon.

If this wasn’t a classmate, he would have already thrown him in the trash can.

"You’re so arrogant," Ryan growled.

"I want a rematch. This ti, how about a bet? 500 pesos for whoever wins!" he shouted aloud.

Hearing this, everyone could tell Ryan was serious, so Mark, Lester, and even Jeff stepped back.

They weren’t about to get involved since they just wanted to watch the show.

The sa went for the other three on the side. Noel, however, wasn’t afraid. He pulled out a 500 pesos cash from his pocket and made a fist, pointing it straight at Ryan.

"You’re on," Noel said, not an ounce of fear in his voice.

"I will make you regret this. Let’s start another match and set the map on random. If I set the map, you’ll just think I’m bullying you," Ryan muttered coldly.

Noel didn’t back down and nodded his head, ready for the challenge. Jeff, however, was watching closely, and he knew this wasn’t a fair match at all.

Ryan’s rank was legendary, with over 15,000 points last season, while Noel, that stupid guy, was just at pro rank with only 4,300 points.

The gap was so huge it felt like an ant was challenging a human. Just as the battle was about to start, a figure appeared in front of Jeff’s seat.

"Jeff, hey, stop playing for a mont," a voice called out.

Looking up, it was none other than Andre, with a serious look on his face. Before he could start the ga, Jeff paused his fingers for a mont.

"What’s up," he asked.

"I need you to et soone. It’s just a favor, and it’s important. Why don’t we go?" Andre said.

Seeing the seriousness in Andre’s expression, Jeff knew it wasn’t sothing he could ignore. He closed the custom room, making Ryan the host.

"Sorry, sothing ca up. I’ll leave first," Jeff said, and with that, the two of them left the classroom.

"Well then, let’s go 4v3," Ryan said, his voice full of wrath, wanting to crush Noel so badly.

"Villar, go to the blue team and at least give this arrogant guy a chance to win."

"Oh no, I feel sick and nauseous. I’ll go back to my seat and rest first," Noel said quickly, closing the app and escaping while he was still winning.

That’s because Jeff was their star player, and with Jeff gone, he knew that if he continued the battle, his entire allowance for the day would be wasted.

A smart person knows when to fight and when to give up, and this ti, it was ti to give up.

With that, Noel sat beside Ralya, resting his head on the student desk to lessen the pain, as if he was in pain.

"You asshole," Ryan snapped, glaring at him.

"You were so energetic just a second ago, and now you’re suffering? You freaking coward, pick up your phone!" Ryan stood up, his voice full of anger, as he hadn’t yet paid back the humiliation.

...

Outside the hallway on the stairs leading to the fourth floor which is the very last floor.

(Author’s Note: When I stated that the school building is just only third floor, what I ant to say its just only the room part and the fourth floor is the school rooftop)

Jeff, seeing that they were heading up, stopped and uttered, "You do know that the fourth floor is off-limits to students due to safety reasons, right? If we get caught, we’ll be penalized."

Andre, who was a few stairs above him, looked back and responded, "Don’t worry, I know that. I’ve already asked the principal for permission to use it."

Hearing Andre’s serious tone, Jeff continued, and soon they reached the door leading to the rooftop.

Pushing it open, Jeff saw a girl standing there in a school uniform. Her long black hair flowed like shadowed silk in the strong wind.

The mont she looked back, her violet eyes t his, filled with an ethereal beauty that seed to captivate everything around her.

But the mont their gazes locked, both showed hostility. The girl’s eyes pierced through him with an emotionless chill.

"It’s you!!!" The two uttered in unison, pointing at each other.
